SpringHill Suites Lumberton

The room was huge! The breakfast great! Staff so friendly and area very nice! My only issue were the beds. They were low to the ground and not comfortable. After a long drive you need comfie beds and sadly they were not!

Clean rooms, facility was very clean

This hotel was a lot nicer a couple of years ago. The upkeep and care for this facility does not appear to be there any more. Rooms are dirtier than they used to be, often times there is no soap in the bathroom, and the ice machine on the first floor has an odd, odorous smell to it.

Customer service oriented staff including check in and check out and breakfast prep staff. The facility was updated, very nice and clean.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and always felt well served. This time, that was not the case. Changes have been made that negatively affected my experience. The luggage carts that were in use are gone and replaced with carts that provide no space for hanging clothes or bags. This makes no sense at all and makes the transfer of all belongings seriously inconvenient. At breakfast, all the guests were given bowls to eat from. No plates. I saw people struggling to eat waffles from a bowl. Also, there was no whole milk, only skim. Cocktail napkins were available, no full-size napkins. That choice had been made for us. When breakfast time was up,the coffee urns were removed. In any reputable hotel, coffee is available all day. In my room, I found no working bedside phone charger input. One workable input was found by the sofa. No workable USB port at all. The one wall outlet near the bed would have supported my phone charging via my adapter, but the plug would not stay in the outlet. It just fell out. Something bad is going on here. Very disappointing.
