Hotel looked a lot better in pictures…walls were dirty, pool was extremely hot and smelled strongly of chlorine. Needs some major updating, it did look like they had updated the carpet in some rooms, so maybe that is in the works.

It was a great week to staying. Overall the property was in good shape. The only issue being the elevator was not working properly. I also want to know how I can pay for a couple of muffins that were out for breakfast but breakfast was not open yet and we were leaving for checkout before breakfast started so it is bothering me that I did that and would like to pay for them if possible. I went looking for an employee to let them know we weee checking out and could not find anyone and I thought to myself well I’m leaving before breakfast since we already paid for the full morning. Anyways it was a bad decision.

The elevator sounds like it's about to fall apart (and its the only elevator). You can never find help at the front desk when you need it (housekeeping ending up helping us multiple times). Need healthier options for breakfast (way too many carbs, not enough proteins or fruit). With all the winter weather we've had, the parking lot should have been salted (the north side was complete ice and not usable). Only redeeming quality was that the room was clean, quiet and close to our destination.

Very comfortable, great employees! Only complaint would be the terrifying elevator. Scared my daughter and i so bad!! It popped squealed, paused ... we just knew it was fixing to fall. We used the stairs for the remainder of our stay.

Check in was fine. Room was just okay. Toilet seat was old and disgusting looking. Towels were rough and thin. Mold growing in shower on the edges of the walls and a lot along the track of the shower doors. Gross! Bed was comfy but the quilted blanket was old and super lumpy. Breakfast was yucky. My husband will eat just about anything and took about three bites and pushed it away. I spoke to the front desk staff and showed them pics of the toilet and shower. She said she'd make a note of it. What a joke. Nobody should be staying in that room.....cleaning staff should have has them fix that stuff before alowing another guest in there! Would not stay here again.

Shower wasnt properly cleaned as i viewed head hair in shower. gnats crawling in shower area and on bed cover. bathroom looked dated. i felt like the place was dirty just because it wasnt updated.

Overall this wasn’t a terrible hotel, the photos were a bit misleading. We were in town for a concert and were under the impression this was a very nice hotel. The photos make it look much better than it actually was. Bathroom was the worst part of the whole room. Shower was filled with mold, soap scum and build up of lord knows what. The toilet seat was absolutely awful looking. Looks like it had a minimum of 90,000 miles on it. The bathroom in a whole had an awful smell and didn’t seem like it had been cleaned in quite some time. The room was nicely decorated, and bed was made as you would expect but some splatter substance was all over the headboard.

The hotel lobby was nice and clean. The staff was very sweet and friendly. When I got into my room on the first floor, I could instantly smell mold and see mold on the wall as well as in the shower. The bottom of the shower was brown and very dirty. There were squished bugs on the wall. The mirrors were so dirty you could barely see in them. The side table had water rings that hadn't been wiped off. I asked to move my room. I got switched to the 3rd floor. The elevator floor and walls were disgusting. The elevator had handprints on the doors and the walls. The 3rd floor smelled moldy. My room smelt better and cleaner. The shower floor was disgusting. My bed covers had dirt and blood on them and the window had handprints. I would not recommend staying here. The reviews and pictures are deceiving.

We couldnt get wi-fi in our room the whole time we were there so I couldnt do any work. The shower was dingy and dirty. There was a train that passed by and it woke us up 3 times each night. I wouldnt stay here again.

We went to go check in and they had over booked so they turned us away even though we had already paid for a room. Customer service during this experience was also terrible they were rude and lacked empathy. Told us they overbooked and the rooms they did have weren’t clean, I’ll never be staying at a La Quinta.

We were there for three days. Sign says maid service only available every other day. We got nothing our entire stay. We went to breakfast 20 minutes before it ended and the desk lady took all the remaining food away and told us we could have an apple if we wanted. Showed her the card stating breakfast was still open according to their policy. She just walked away to the back where we couldn’t see her. Very rude. The lady that checked us in was nice. Room had hair in the shower and some used q tips on the floor next to the bed, the microwave tray was busted, it worked but banged as it rotated., the air conditioner worked but barely kept the room tolerable. It wasn’t a terrible stay but I at least expected to get what we paid for. You will basically get a room nothing more. If you want breakfast you better go right when it starts or you won’t get anything. Was offered no type of refund or discount due to services that wasn’t provided as promised. They only go hide once you bring up a problem.

first bad encounter was my card was declined, when i checked with bank the next day . the clerk put the wrong expired date entered 5/26 was suppose tobe 3/26. no one was ever at the front desk, had to wait 10 to 20 minutes. called desk on checkout day no answer waited awhile called back to request late checkout after a lenghty wait ,she said she could allow 15 minutes. but later hour called the room and said 12. there is wall damage everywhere room, cafe . food was reasonable but very limited. we triied this motel as and upgrade from the micro motel , however it was only a upgrade of money $30. dollars more for less. very disssapointed will let our family and friends know not to use this motel we go the claremore 4 to 5 times a year and 10 to12 other family go as well. also refrigerator never did get cold, toilet rocked , request on the conformation email a shower chair, extra pillows, never recieved these items

The outside of the property was in the process of being repainted, I appreciate that fact. My issue was with the lack of knowledge y the night staff. The struggle of booking to a third part I believe more training would be helpful and encourage your night manager to help with more professional communication to their help line while trying to find a solution. I felt bad for the people on both ends of the call.

The staff was very helpful for both hotel and area questions, The location is very good. We felt it was a safe area. A number of popular restaurants are a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast was OK - nothing special but good to get us started for the day. Comfortable seating, not crowded. The train whistles every 30 minutes (it seemed) gave the location character but weren't very loud. The room was in good condition. The lighting was poor. Claremore was a good location for day trips. We'd stay again.

The hotel recently (last week) changed brands and ownership from LaQuinta to Comfort. General condition was good, clean. Outside entry of hotel needs some attention but I suspect that is from the recent change in management and will get attention. Bed was great. Room was large decent and clean. Breakfast was fine. Staff was great and attentive.

The room had good illumination - lots of lights, which is fairly rare for a hotel room. The desk chair would not stay in the higher position - the piston was worn out so it sat low. They still had the little bottles are bars of shampoo and body soap. The Shampoo container was so small it was not adequate for even one shower. The fridge in my room did not work so my leftovers went bad overnight. The TV was way too small for a room of this size. The batteries were probably going out in the remote, because the tv would barely turn on or change channels. Should have been a bath mat in the bathtub. I little slick with no bathmat, and the bathtub did not drain while showering. The toilet seemed really small and low. I think ADA height toilets should be standard. The bathroom faucet was so small you almost can't put your hands under it to wash your hands. The breakfast was not very good. They had decent eggs, waffles, and some oatmeal. They had some tiny sausage sandwiches, but no actual sausage or bacon. The coffee was undrinkably bad. At least there is a Starbucks 1/2 mile away.

When we showed up we notice a lot of teenagers hanging out, probably a traveling sports team. Breakfast was 6 am to 10 am. We went to breakfast at 8 am and the it was completely wiped out, some eggs, some biscuits but no gravy, an orange, a couple of apples and a few slices of bread.. Obviously there was no preparation for how much teenage boys eat. When you pay for a hotel with breakfast, you should get with you pay for. We did not. Very poor planning on management.
