We had a Fabulous stay at a spectacular spot. The piano room was spacious Whimsical & Fun. The chandelier over jacuzzi was a great idea. Double shower heads were nice after a day of hiking. Enjoyed coffee and pastries on our porch overlooking the park where all ages were enjoying the morning.

Our July 4th 2024 spur of the moment stay at the Storehouse Inn, Dahlonega, GA. was great. The property owner Mike is very personable and on-call at any time it seems if there were any issues and or if you came in early with questions/concerns. My daughter attends the UNG and we spent the 4th with her. Parking was sufficient and motorcycle friendly with your kick-plate due to the gravel pathway. The room itself seems to take me back in time to another era, the bathroom, small but modern in some ways added a little touch of elegance. The veranda wraps around to the other rooms and overlooks the kids park where a concert was being played for the 4th. The king bed at the Stanton room was comfortable, the old floors and fireplace brought a sense of nostalgia of the old times. Overall, the place was just as pictured.

We stayed here one night for a wedding nearby. The inn was easy to find with a contactless entry (entry code sent the day of check in, you set your own code for your room). Just a block off the main shopping/eating area made walking to everything we were interested in easy and enjoyable. The steps up to our room were a bit tricky but there are rooms available on the main level if that is a problem. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and had a balcony that looked over a park. We enjoyed our quick stay.

Convenient downtown location, comfortable furnishings, classic decor, and eclectic character. This place has it all. We enjoyed the Mason room for 2 nights and were very pleased with everything. The inn keeper, Mike, is a great guy and was very communicative. Just be advised that many of the rooms are on the 2nd floor and accessible by a narrow staircase only. Also the beautiful wood floors are creaky in spots but thats part of the eclectic charm of the building.

It’s exactly what we expected. It’s an old place and you can tell. That’s what gives its charm. We were there for the 4th of July. We got to watch the free concert in the park from our balcony. Everything in the square is walking distance. The only negative I would give, is I wish the back door had blinds. Since it’s next to the street, even with my eyes closed I could see headlights driving by. But I am also a very light sleeper. My husband went right to sleep.

We enjoyed our one night. The room was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning was noisy, but it wasn’t too warm so we switched it off. Would definitely recommend both the hotel and visiting the town of Dahlonega.

This tiny hotel is located in a great area and only has a handful of rooms. The structure was probably built in the year of the fart but it’s been modernized inside and is quite comfortable. It’s as clean as one could expect for such an old building. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the wrap around porch. I would recommend.

Really quaint and restful atmosphere very close to activity around the square. Jessie treated us like royalty and made our one night stand a real pleasure. Very clean, all the comforts of home. Nice porches, convenient off-street parking.

Last minute stay after a basketball game at north Georgia. The room was “ok”. The window AC was very difficult to operate and it got the room extremely hot. The shower had lots of cleanliness issues. I for sure will not be back.

The room was very neat and clean. It was exactly as listed. The bathroom was updated, the room was nice and there was access to a balcony that we could sit and have coffee on. Beautiful room with lots of details. Great and easy access. Very comfortable. Beautifully remodeled. Mattress needs to be changed and pillows are to tall. Maybe it is just us that we are use to a firm mattress. As detailed as the host is I am sure he will address this in no time. Overall we are very happy we got to know this place is unique

Quaint old style feel was very nice. The plain wooden floors surprised my partner (she expected tile or carpet), but I liked it. The place was clean and easy to access (note well, Mason is on the 2nd floor, stairs only). I appreciated the tin roof decor of the coffee corner. Not so great was the noisy window air conditioner that pointed right over the bed. Less than ideal was that the shower was open to the bathroom vanity area, which was itself open to the room, and this combination led to a drafty shower. Adding a mini-split on open the wall area adjacent to the hall entrance, and a shower door, would have made it a fantastic stay.

Very nice! Loved the exotic coziness of the room😊 Loved the location, was able to enjoy live music at the park across the street😎 The ac unit was so close to the bed…I had difficulty finding the right buttons for comfort 😬 Overall a great place to stay!

We absolutely loved it so much we ended up staying another night. Mike, the owner was amazing, and our room was one of the best experiences on our trip! We’ve already said that we will come back to the same room and also try the other ones!

Perfect little girls’ trip get-away! I’m picky about a comfy bed - and I slept amazing. Location was great - front porch sitting and view of park complete with markets and live music on weekend. Mike was quick to respond - great host. Highly recommend!

We loved the Old Storehouse Inn. We stayed in the Stanton Room, and it was beautiful with a separate sitting room w/tv and the most comfortable king size bed. Mike the owner was extremely accomadting and made sure we had everything we needed.

We loved this room and Inn! It was a unque room and the place had a lot of character. It was easy to check in and out. It was not on the square, so it was quiet, but a very short walk to the square and quite a few restuarants. Loved that it was right across from the park. It was very clean and well setup. I would definitely come and stay here again.

The Old Storehouse Inn was conveniently located to the downtown area and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Our room was well stocked and clean. Check-In and Check-Out was simple. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Dahlonega.

It’s exactly what we expected. It’s an old place and you can tell. That’s what gives its charm. We were there for the 4th of July. We got to watch the free concert in the park from our balcony. Everything in the square is walking distance. The only negative I would give, is I wish the back door had blinds. Since it’s next to the street, even with my eyes closed I could see headlights driving by. But I am also a very light sleeper. My husband went right to sleep.

This place was incredible!! Location was 1 block from the main square. Christmas time was great- when we arrived they had our room decorated. Hassle free check in- this part was great.

The room was very neat and clean. It was exactly as listed. The bathroom was updated, the room was nice and there was access to a balcony that we could sit and have coffee on. It was located within walking distance to downtown and across from a park. It is a great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Another great stay in Dahlonega. Two great winery visits, wonderful food in local restaurants and a bonus concert in the park on Friday night, The location could not be better. We’ll be back.

Amazing way to spend one night in Dahlonega for our 30 year anniversary. Mason Room was wonderful. Great touches and comfortable bed. Walking distance from everything. Can't wait to return! And do a paint class downstairs!

This is our second time staying in the “Piano Room”, which is a unique room with an actual working piano as a bed headboard. Although it is a no frills kind of room, the uniqueness makes it a fun and a memorable experience. The best part of this place is the proximity to the town square and the free parking behind the building. Mike, the owner, was also great to work with.

The hotel is a self check in. The owner called and gave us a room code. The Piano room was so cool! Huge bathroom and comfortable bed and pillows. Walking distance to downtown. We would definitely stay here again!
