Owner/managers are just starting to get thing ship shape and doing vary well. My stay ways great. They have a security guard on duty at night, thing being what they are in today's world. It's that they take pride in making a person who is traveling feel safe.

Room and bedding was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Building is a old and run down and the area is a bit rough, but the onsite security kept everything safe. There is also a freight train that runs behind it constantly, but it's a pet friendly stay at a great price. For travellers on a budget, it's a good choice for a night stay.

Was pleasantly surprised with the room. It was clean, well proportioned with a comfortable king bed, adequate towels (not big and fluffy ones you get from expensive hotels but not too thin to dry you after a shower) and carpet on the floor that was not worn out. The location is close to downtown on a busy street not far from railroad tracks hence some noise but was fairly quiet at night. I would stay here again. No breakfast but it is a budget motel.

Most of the time when I am in Spokane I stay here. The only drawback is the neighborhood, but that is also the strength. It is centrally located, it is affordable, this is a budget hotel with security watching the parking lot from 10:00 p.m. until the morning. If you've ever been to downtown Spokane, you know what that's like, but I've always felt safe here. This is an excellent resource and having breakfast in the railroad car across the street is always fun. The hospitals and medical centers are down the street, the knitting factory is close, and you can get over to concerts in the stadium reasonably well.

The manager was great. Its the people staying tere was loud,rude,coming and going all hours of day ad night.no ice bucket,no washcloths, no coffee maker. Towels were hard and rough and had a bad smell.

The clerk claimed that the room was cleaned just hours before, but the sheets had numberous black stains on them. There was no offer to change rooms or correct this. It was you paid for it and there's no refund, so talk it or leave it. We left it.

The floor, walls, and bed spread was extremely dirty. The tiki lodge needs some serious renovations. This place needs new beds, new flooring and clean walls. I felt like I would catch a sexually transmitted disease being in the room. Please do better with cleanliness.

First off it was the cheapest place in town and it was closest to where I was going. The lady behind the counter was excellent, she was cordial, friendly and helpful. And l will say the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Having said that the hotel was right next to a very active rail line and yard so it was very noisy. Even though the room was clean you could tell it had been through the gauntlet, broken fixtures, no nightstand lights and no sound from the TV ( I could’ve asked about it but all I was doing was trying to sleep. Lastly it was in a large homeless area, offering rooms by the week. For the fact I only slept there I would say it was OK but I think the next time I’ll spend a little more money and stay elsewhere.

The above ground railroad line runs parallel and right beside this property. The trains run every 30 minutes at night and the beds shake when they pass. The planes going to Spokane airport in the morning fly ride over the motel. Homeless people hang out in the parking lot and drink and laugh or fight all night long. There are cigarette butts and smoking everywhere beside the apartments despite the 25 foot no smoking zone. Some lamps in the room wouldn’t turn on, and some lamps in the room wouldn’t turn off. The bathroom was really dirty, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Had to leave after the first night because of the noise and the lack of working plumbing.

You get what you pay for. Hotel shares a wall with train and they go by all day/night. Room was clean, however you could smell it was a smoke room previously. My child who has no respiratory issues, immediately clogged up and couldn't breathe. I use a cpap, when i got home i had to deep clean it and change the filters, the smell permiated the machine. Not worth the few $ saved. Pay the extra, i do not recommend this place.

Some trains run all night long and I mean constantly. The neighborhood is seedy, At check-in, you don't go inside a lobby, you stand outside and talk through a half-window, bathroom light would not turn off, bath fan knob was missing, the curtains were torn and had holes in them

This was my 2nd trip staying here, but this time the bed mattress was really, really bad, Wire springs could be felt all along the surface of the bed and visible, even with the sheets. Room had stale cigarette odor, even though it was a nonsmoking motel. Good price with two very convenient breakfast options and close to my event, but I don't think I'll take chance there next year when I come back. Check in staff was friendly, but lady at desk when I checked out, didn't seem at all concerned about the mattress issue.

For the price, it was a decent stay. However, there were a couple off putting things, like the bathroom door handle was barely secured and the bed covers were very stiff and plastic-y. Honestly, the worst part is that the train is right next to this building, so I barely slept. But again, for the price and just a one-night stay, it was an alright choice.

The front desk and cleaning staff are great. The place is a bit run down but kept super clean. It’s in town and right next to the railway tracks but overall very quiet at night. They could use some grounds maintenance work ....lots of discarded drink cups and the driveway asphalt is broken up. The room had a broken towel rack and a loose faucet...but was exceptionally clean. The stay was much better than the place looked. Jim’s Diner across the street was a gem. After a long drive it was a very comfortable stay

I was looking for a basic no frills hotel for an overnight stay. The staff was very helpful & nice for check in, the room was perfect, and the best thing was that the room heater worked perfectly and ran quietly! Also, 2 blocks down was Iron Goat Brewery which was a great place to relax after the drive. There are homeless in the neighborhood but there were no problems.

The property was an absolute dump! The manager was ungodly rude and had a poor attitude. She treated me and my sister as if we were suspicious troublemakers. She also told me that i am not allowed to have guests or " company" unless i pay for them. I asked why and was told that its in the rules.

An absolute nightmare. There were no towels in the room when I checked in so I went to the front desk to ask for some and was confronted by an angry desk clerk who yelled that I was interrupting her dinner and after a lot of huffing and stomping I finally got towels. I certainly did not feel like a welcome guest. Also the room was infested with body lice which took days to get rid of. I would not recommend for anyone to stay here ever.

I just had to be in Spokane overnight getting in late and leaving in the morning, so booked for convenience of downtown (edge) location fpr a breakfst meeting, and on the cheap. The property was a bit more rundown and "sketchy" than anticipated. Bed was fine. The towels were small and rough texture. The evening clerk was friendly and still on shift in the morning when I dropped my key. To note, there is a railroad tressel that runs right behind the north wing of the motel. Multiple trains came through. Fortunately I was on the east wing, but still got the noise.

Good location, always just a few minutes away from wherever I want to go in downtown Spokane. Downtown Spokane can be a little rough, keep that in mind, but this property monitors its parking lot and I always feel super safe there. Plus they are nice.

We loved that it was close to good dining with the Iron Goat Brewery just 2 blocks away and the music venue was a walkable 5 blocks. Nice showers. We liked the 90's vibe. Helpful staff at the desk. Great value for the downtown location. I would rather stay here than pay triple at the Oxford Inn.

Some trains run all night long and I mean constantly. The neighborhood is seedy, At check-in, you don't go inside a lobby, you stand outside and talk through a half-window, bathroom light would not turn off, bath fan knob was missing, the curtains were torn and had holes in them

The property was good and fine but it’s lowkey scary if you’re a woman. Everyone but me and my friend was a man and they’re always lurking outside at night.

For the price, it was a decent stay. However, there were a couple off putting things, like the bathroom door handle was barely secured and the bed covers were very stiff and plastic-y. Honestly, the worst part is that the train is right next to this building, so I barely slept. But again, for the price and just a one-night stay, it was an alright choice.

Most of the time when I am in Spokane I stay here. The only drawback is the neighborhood, but that is also the strength. It is centrally located, it is affordable, this is a budget hotel with security watching the parking lot from 10:00 p.m. until the morning. If you've ever been to downtown Spokane, you know what that's like, but I've always felt safe here. This is an excellent resource and having breakfast in the railroad car across the street is always fun. The hospitals and medical centers are down the street, the knitting factory is close, and you can get over to concerts in the stadium reasonably well.

This is an older property on the edge of downtown in an area that has street people (I do not know if they are homeless.) The location was great, and there are some good restaurants within a few blocks. The property is showing its age, and can use some repairs.

We loved that it was close to good dining with the Iron Goat Brewery just 2 blocks away and the music venue was a walkable 5 blocks. Nice showers. We liked the 90's vibe. Helpful staff at the desk. Great value for the downtown location. I would rather stay here than pay triple at the Oxford Inn.

Was pleasantly surprised with the room. It was clean, well proportioned with a comfortable king bed, adequate towels (not big and fluffy ones you get from expensive hotels but not too thin to dry you after a shower) and carpet on the floor that was not worn out. The location is close to downtown on a busy street not far from railroad tracks hence some noise but was fairly quiet at night. I would stay here again. No breakfast but it is a budget motel.

I was looking for a basic no frills hotel for an overnight stay. The staff was very helpful & nice for check in, the room was perfect, and the best thing was that the room heater worked perfectly and ran quietly! Also, 2 blocks down was Iron Goat Brewery which was a great place to relax after the drive. There are homeless in the neighborhood but there were no problems.

The front desk and cleaning staff are great. The place is a bit run down but kept super clean. It’s in town and right next to the railway tracks but overall very quiet at night. They could use some grounds maintenance work ....lots of discarded drink cups and the driveway asphalt is broken up. The room had a broken towel rack and a loose faucet...but was exceptionally clean. The stay was much better than the place looked. Jim’s Diner across the street was a gem. After a long drive it was a very comfortable stay

My room was clean. Had a microwave and a mini fridge with freezer. Super convenient 👌. The tub had scuff marks and had chunks of what looked like paint missing. The hotel is in a busy side of town. You hear cars all day and night. Its right next to a train track. From 6pm to 6am I counted the train go by 7 times. Kept me up most of the nights. There is a bunch of homeless people wondering around. For the price it was fine.

Room was VERY good for the price. Clean, good repair. We knew it was adjacent to a train, and it was white noise for me. No horns. Great lighting for parking.

Firstly, being right by the 76 and by Franks Restaurant is a plus. Unfortunately, I cannot give the place a good review. Room 222 didn't have bedbugs, but that's more of a silver lining. The train being by the motel will be rough if you are a light sleeper or not used to trains. The restroom for 222 was severely damaged, tiles were held up by blue painters tape. The shower was very dingy and definitely hadn't been cared for by hotel management. While niche, I was a full 6-7 inches taller than the shower head and couldn't take comfortable showers (I am 6 feet tall)
