Half the time the elevator didn't work (scary), the door to our room stuck and didn't open or close properly (more scary), the kids playing in the pool were allowed to scream at the top of their lungs until 11 PM. This is just a start. I could go on to talk about the hair in the shower that was there our entire day or how the cleaning crew barged in the room without knocking at two in the afternoon. Worst of all… The manager was EXTREMELY rude. Again, this is just a start

Check in was great. We got to Check in early at 1:30 pm. We had no issues getting parking. We were in a room on the third floor and the elevator was very tiny and If you needed to use a stroller or luggage cart you had to enter from Atlantic ave because both entrances on 8th street had large ledges. The pool was not open at the times stated during our stay. When the pool was open it was nice but had limited seating around it to watch your children. The rooms itself was clean, some electrical wiring was falling off the ceiling and the lighting was dim with only two small lights that did not cover the entire room. Proximity to bike rentals and boardwalk/beach was great. I would stay here again but I would request a bottom floor room.

We loved the location, the free parking, pool and the modern and new rooms. Our bedroom was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Can’t wait to go back to Ocean City and stay at the Atlantic or one of the other sister properties.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The pool is awesome and there is a restaurant for brunch downstairs. Rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. Amazing location if you want to be close to the boardwalk and beach. It was quiet at night.

Recently renovated and great location. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was large, bright and had a walk in shower. We had a nice breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed the pool. Desk people were very friendly. They have their own parking lot. Highly recommended.

Loved it, close to the beach, pool, upgraded rooms; overall great trip! The courtyard to sit and eat meals was super convenient for take out as well as the restaurant on site had good food and selection. My only feedback is I hope the hotel works on the pool for next season. While the pool water is maintained by a service person everyday, the condition of the pool area needed help. The deck is not cleaned regularly, items left in and around the pool remain an endless display of lost and found as well as having to clean the pool water surface a few times while I was there. My kids loved it and we used the pool often but wish it was a little cleaner. We will definitely be back!

The location of the Atlantic couldn’t be better, but we were disappointed with some aspects of our stay. The internet was sketchy which made it difficult to impossible to watch tv. The pool was nice but some of the Adirondack chairs were missing chair planks. The room was relatively clean, but there were brown splashes on the wall in the bathroom. There was no bathroom at the pool or any towels provided at the pool. The second day we didn’t have maid service and apparently someone else was frustrated, too, and threw their dirty towels and garbage onto the walkway. It was still there when we left this morning. The remodel of the bathroom is beautiful and the rooms are freshly painted and carpeted. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets were a bit scratchy. The cost per night is more than reasonable, but we left feeling like you get what you pay for, and we won’t go back again.

We ended up having to check in late (almost when the office closed at 9 pm) due to a flight delay. When we arrived, the front desk person didn't tell us how to actually get to our room, so we had to figure that out on our own. Also, we had an early flight out and didn't know where we should leave our keys for the room, as they are physical keys. The room was pretty standard - the AC unit is really loud and literally right next to one side of the bed. Water pressure in the shower was good, but we realized the carpet in the room was so disgusting that as soon as you walk on it, you're tracking dirt and debris in the bathroom and on the bed. The air handler is also incredibly loud and will wake you up in the middle of the night. Overall, the hotel is OK. Front desk staff could have been better, but I understand they likely wanted to go home, and our late arrival wasn't the original plan. Walkable, so the location was great.

We loved the updated rooms as this used to be the pavilion. Everything inside the room and bathroom was brand new. The beds were new and comfortable..plenty of space in the room, bathroom is large with a great shower. Around the hotel is clean, pool was great and very clean. Great location to access the boardwalk.

Overall was a nice stay for a quick getaway for a few days at the beach with my teens. The beach and boardwalk were so close it took only 3 minutes to get there. The downside is that the property has walls so paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING… from conversations in rooms next door or across the way to every sound made outside. That was the biggest downside to not make this property a 4 rating.

Very nice renovation to the property. Well appointed rooms- comfortable beds, nice fridge/microwave, amazing shower with great water pressure. Big bathrooms. Had to move rooms because our first room was not cooling due to a very old AC unit. Only one block from the boardwalk. Parking and beach tags included. Would stay there again. Could use a more welcoming lobby.

Overall this was a good place to stay. Clean, conveniently located, has a pool, good price, etc. I was disappointed that the free Wi-Fi is not secure, and the air conditioning wasn’t working well. We had to keep the temp down to 60 to keep the room cool. It needed the filter cleaned as well. I did report the AC not working and a broken shower door. Also, upon arrival we couldn’t find the entrance. Not where we expected. It’s on the adjacent street and hard to spot at first.

I’m only not giving 5 stars because it wasn’t perfect for what it was (not a bad thing at all). Would’ve liked to have better wi-fi so could do some of the work I planned on while on the trip or used my phone at all (service wasn’t great for me in the room). Definitely bring some multi taps because the outlets were all hidden and we had multiple devices we needed to charge. Otherwise I can’t complain. Location was fantastic, they have parking onsite, beds are actually comfortable (which I can’t say about 5-star resorts, even) and everything else just worked out perfectly. Staff was super nice and the attached cafe was great too. Heck, they even get you a discount on bike rentals!

Roku TV is a drawback - could not watch live TV shows or sports. Arrived before check in time, would not let us park in their lot until check in time (even though there were empty spots) - so paid $20 to park in municipal lot. Also not offered/given beach tags until 4pm check-in, so paid for our own.....arriving early cost us additional $60.....

The place was very conveniently located. However, we got to our room at around 9pm after we checked in and the door to our room was open and unlocked. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they shirked it off as totally fine and didn’t even apologize. The bathroom was pretty and clean but the bar soap smelled awful! Also, people in the courtyard were up making noise until late like 1am. I had 3 little kids with me and this was quite disruptive:(

Terrible service, terrible room, parking is unavailable, workers are rude, room smelled weird. I could go on and on. But again the workers absolutely sucked. They had attitude and were rude. I do not recommend coming here ever. Seriously don’t.

Close to boardwalk. Rude front staff. Can't use amenities until you're checked in, including beach tags and parking. Bed was really uncomfortable and limited towels which were low quality and hair in them. No coffee but small restaurant with limited hours on property. I wouldn't recommend compared to the other properties in the area that are more accommodating and friendlier.

Only thing we liked was the room and proximity to Boardwalk. Thats were the positive comments ends. No coffee maker or iron in room... Power went out 3 times, internet worked well for 1 hr after that Ruko TV became useless..Elevator did not work, so I had to carry family's luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. Front end person to this day never told us about Elevator.. At check-in I was handed an antiquated metal room key. The sign said Hotel but it felt like a motel..Rooms window faced the walkway, felt very intrusive and unsafe. People constantly walking past the large window. Called front desk for issues 3 times with NO ANSWER!!! Check out we had to wait several minutes for person to appear.. This MOTEL oops meant Hotel will never see me again..

This is an absolutely perfect place to stay for a couple or family if you plan on going to the boardwalk and the beach in Ocean City, New Jersey. Clean newly renovated rooms nice little pool and friendly front desk. A little on the pricey side, but we booked late and it’s all about the location with a three minute walk to the top of the boardwalk and the beach.
