Super friendly crew, the place was spotlessly clean. Sometimes, around sundown, they light the front fire pit and place chairs around it. Bring your favorite bottle and enjoy the fire...

Last minute reservation and an amazing find for the last night of our week long motorcycle trip. This place is cute, quaint, fun, and definitely a spot we would return to. Relaxing conversations with guests and staff on the porch led to a great recommendation for dinner. Later, the walk in shower big enough for two (or four) was the perfect end of the day before laying down in a delightful comfy bed. In the morning we were treated to a truly world class breakfast made in the kitchen while we all talked about life and pleasantries. Our new friends at the breakfast table also surprised the room with Mr. getting down on his knees and proposing to "do another 25 years" with his lovely wife. A great, comfortable, fun experience that we will look forward to doing again.

The owners were so nice and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and the wine and cookies in the evening was just what we needed after a long day! We can’t wait to stay again!

Everything was great, including the location within walking distance from the historic downtown. Bed was very comfortable and parking was very convenient.

One night stay while travelling thru the area. Very nice, comfortable and good location. Staff was great. Parked right outside so easy walk to rooms. Short walk to downtown area. Breakfast was also very good.

Property was nice. Extras like cookies, coffee, tea and wine were available upon arrival and were also nice touches. I appreciated the water bottles in the refrigerator, as well as a little tray on the bed with chocolates and instructions for Wi-Fi and so forth. Clean room and bathroom. Convenient location to what I needed. Owner was very nice. However, I had to walk through the cloud of cigarette smoke at the front door because the man running the check in was sitting on the porch smoking when I arrived. There was no other way to get into the building except to walk through it and I hated that. Barking dog late at night and early in the morning, that was disruptive to rest. Also, no way to control the AC from inside the room, and no way to lock the room from the inside except for the knob that had a flip type lock but there was not a lot to stop someone from the outside getting in, since only the knob locked and there wasn't even any kind of latch that closes higher up like what a hotel would have. Very weak shower with not much water pressure at all, and it took several minutes for it to turn just warm.No blinds on the windows, so especially the bathroom was an issue, because the curtain does not block the ability from someone being able to see straight through to the shower which has a clear glass door. It also meant a lot of light came in to the room early in the morning and you couldn't block out the street lights at night. Breakfast was disappointing compared to reviews

Amazing place! Decor is lovely and breakfast was great. We had one night here as part of a trip travelling round the area. Location off the inn is within super close walking distance to the town. Easy parking outside. Lovely little touches in amenities and the room that make you feel very welcome and looked after! Would recommend people to book

This is a very nice bed and breakfast. The accommodations were spacious and extremely clean. There was a sit-down breakfast each morning and was absolutely delicious. It was a little piece of paradise away from home. The host was extremely friendly and hospitable. There were cookies everyday and wine in the evening. I stayed in four bed and breakfasts on my trip and this was the best and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

This is our first time staying in B&B. It’s beyond expectation. The property was beautifully renovated with old time charm and modern convenience. It’s better than the pictures. The bedroom and bathroom is big and sparklingly clean. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. Location is perfect, just behind the main street of the town.

Phenomenal!! The hosts are just lovely. Great room, so comfortable and meticulously appointed. Cleanliness is impeccable. Breakfast was so delicious. 10/10 recommend…if I could score higher than 10, I would!!

The building is very welcoming. Places to sit on the porches and visit with others. Inside is beautifully decorated. Loved the room we stayed in (Mittie Stevens Room). The detail of the decor and amenities was wonderful. Highly recommend staying there if you want to feel like a princess. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was good.

This is such a lovely inn with a quaint, intimate feel. The rooms are quiet, well stocked and very comfortable. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. It’s evident that they love the property and have a wealth of information about its history. The inn is literally two blocks from their historic downtown and the walk alongside the other homes in the area is like something from a storybook. Everything is picture perfect. I will definitely return.

What a charming place! We loved the attention to detail in the decor. We loved the big comfy bed, quaint bath tub, glass of wine waiting for us, coffee and cookies if wanted. We had an enjoyable, freshly cooked breakfast and Lana is welcoming and charming. We recommend McGinty’s for a meal. Jefferson is a lovely small town with a feeling of yester year.

This is a very pleasant bed & breakfast. The hosts are super nice. They made a delicious breakfast. I liked the bon fire in the evenings which go nicely with a glass of wine. I stayed in the Mardi Gras room which had 2 bedrooms and a refrigerator.

The hosts were really amazing. The set time for breakfast was 8:30 - 9:30, but since we had to be on-site by 8, he got up early and made us breakfast at 7. And it was outstanding! The property is very nice - it apparently was recently remodeled, and it looks like it. All in all a great experience.

We came for July 4th. First visit to Jefferson’s activities for the holiday. We loved the small town festivities and the fireworks were amazing!! Was happy to snag a last minute room. Parked our car and walked easily everywhere we wanted to go downtown. We loved the Steamboat Inn. Beautiful! Wonderful hosts. Our room was wonderful. So charming and very clean. Great breakfast. Would highly recommend, and we’ve already booked another stay here for Christmas!

My daughter and I wanted to have a little mother daughter time for a few days.Lana is a wonderful host and her staff is top notch.We looked forward to breakfast each morning.So good.We loved it so much we stayed another day.Comfy beds and green plants everywhere.Run don't walk to stay in this little peace of paradise.

We were warmly greeted upon our arrvial by Lana and given a quick casual tour of the home then left to relax and enjoy Jefferson.. it was a lovely get away. Eggs Benedict and French Toast for breakfast! Yumola.
