Although facilities, food, and staff were all excellent, there was no mention of the main pool being closed for renovation as of September 2025, so all guests including children were using the smaller adult pool. It worked out fine and we still had a great time, but it became quite crowded and wasn’t as relaxing. I had specifically booked this hotel due to its adults only pool, so that was a disappointment. It would have been nice to have been given a discount for the spa or some other concession to compensate. Also, our room was quite nice but we were accidentally locked out on our balcony due to a faulty lock on our slider. I suggested that we be moved to a different room, and they instead just told us sorry, just leave your door open when you go outside. The property was definitely not fully booked, so it was a little strange they wouldn’t do more to accommodate for these issues. I do understand there are going to be maintenance issues and things need to be closed for renovations, but I believe that should be disclosed in advance so people can make an informed decision. The restaurant staff were great, in particular Norma and Medardo at the morning buffet (both amazing!). The property is in overall great condition and the beach is great with a rock jetty placed that creates a break for a lovely swimmable beach, which is unique to this coastline. The food was very good, with several rotating restaurants. We would return, but will check first to confirm all pools are open.

Favourite Hilton employees - HUGO & BLANCA! Made us feel like family every day. Aquafit every day at noon & we didn't miss one class. Do not miss is the Silent Disco! Lots of lawn chairs around pool. Resort was very clean! Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Beautiful sandy beach right down the stairs from pool area. Food was excellent! Buffet was delicious & a la carte restaurants even better! Karen was great at Sunan and Brayan at Asian Fusion. Check-in experience super fast and easy. A/C wasn't working in our room, but maintenance staff came promptly & fixed it. Ocean view room so beautiful. Fell asleep each night listening to the waves. A TON of activities all day long. You will never be bored. Kids club is right off pool & looked very large and fun! Fully equipped & clean gym. Excellent live entertainment each night. Sky Bar is amazing with cool and hot pools. Minimal vendors on beach who are respectful. Wifi great everywhere. User-friendly resort app. I want to bring my kids back here some day soon! Highly recommend this resort.

Small resort. There wasn’t much to do since It rained. The buffet serves the same food daily and it was below average. Only one pool was working. The other was under construction. The hot tub at the sky bar was closed due to a private event. When we were finally able to use it, the water wasn’t warm. The staff is very nice and the resort is clean. Overpriced for the experience.

Great super clear resort, service was outstanding everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Nice hotel room with excellent view of the ocean. The hotel beach was awesome, excellent for relaxing in the water with the large water break. However, Very noisy due to resurfacing of the large pool. All restaurants were nice, however sitting was very limited for dinner dining. One restaurant was closed also due to remodeling. Overall, great resort and we would totally recommend and use again once all the construction is completed.

The staff is terrific from check in to check out. Very attentive and friendly. I thought the food was very good, varied and always available. We mostly visited the buffet, my husband prefers this over the dining experience. The restaurants were open air it was very warm for dinner reservations. Pool and bar staff were great. I highly recommend floating out in the bay, warm water, gentle waves, so relaxing. I do believe the pools are due for an update as the tiling is worn and missing in some spots. I’d also like to see the playroom have longer hours for the littles. It was very difficult to walk by with our two year old who couldn’t go in when she saw other children playing inside. They were only allowed in twice daily during posted hours. We learned the hours and avoided walking past during off times. Overall it’s a great resort, with friendly hard working staff, comfortable beds), good food, and a beautiful beach location. Our family of eight (2-72) had a great time.

The pool was enjoyable. I participated in the aqua aerobics and I loved it. Blanca one of the instructors had great style and enthusiasm! Great beach-the rocky water break made swimming and wading very safe. Short walk from the pool onto the beach. The staff were amazing! I celebrated my birthday and Esmeralda, Rosario and Pedro sang happy birthday and brought me a dessert at breakfast! All of the server staff were so happy and helpful!

Deberían avisar que una de las las albercas no funciona ya que solo había 1 y todo el mundo estaba ahí. Lo que queríamos era tranquilidad y no lo tuvimos. No nos pudimos ni meter a la la alberca. This resort was everything we hoped for and more. The beach is absolutely beautiful-clean, relaxing, and picture-perfect. We especially enjoyed the complimentary kayaks, and Israel from the staff was amazing. He walked us through everything, gave clear safety instructions, and made the whole experience fun and easy. We had high expectations when booking this Hilton, especially since it was advertised as a four-star, all-inclusive hotel. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While the staff were kind and helpful, the property itself fell far below expectations. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. We changed rooms three times, but the issue persisted in every one. The rooms were not very clean, the sinks were clogged, and the bathrooms didn’t drain properly. Overall, the facilities felt outdated and poorly maintained, which was surprising and frustrating considering the Hilton name and the high price we paid. We ultimately decided to leave and stay at another hotel, as we simply couldn’t remain in those conditions. It’s unfortunate, because the staff truly tried to help, but the hotel itself needs serious attention and renovation to meet the quality guests expect

I would not stay in this hotel again. The bathroom had a roach, the pool had mold around it and looks old. The mirror in the room was dirty. The room smelled like humidity. The one thing that was good was the staff, everyone was great and had good customer service in the restaurants.

The staff was very nice, our room was clean on the inside. I did not feel the halls & lobby area were not very clean. Now the breakfast buffet was good our service was impeccable. We love Norma..💕 as of the room service and other restaurants we did not like the food whatsoever and we went into town and ate.

Pool area restroom is unkept and always wet, stairways are super stinky and filthy. The furniture in our room is rusty and falling apart. The mini bar refrigerator wasn’t working. Our room did not get cleaned the day before we left. The location is great, the beach is semi private and clean. The views are spectacular, the staff is very helpful, friendly and professional except for the younger staff handing out the beach towels. The food is good and the waiters are always friendly and helpful.

Food was a hit or miss depending on which restaurant you hit up. Compared to other all-inclusive resorts we've frequented, the buffet was not open every meal and did not have as much variety, but the breakfast quesadilla station did make up for it every morning. Room was much nicer compared to other properties, but my shower kept flooding, not sure if it was due to poor design of the glass door opening. The balcony was very nice and larger than most. Mini bar snacks and drinks were minimal compared to other resorts. We did enjoy the onsite Starbucks cafe and market. The Starbucks cafe drinks were extra but the market had some desserts, fruit cups, sandwiches, and salads if you didn't want to wait for room service late at night. Entertainment and activities were a great touch. There seemed to be something interesting and different offered our whole trip. Spa experience was my favorite. We did the Experience Of The Pacific (included a scrub, mud body wrap, and massage). Service, overall was great from housekeeping/bar/rest staff. Front desk was a bit all over the place. After 3 different interactions, the general consensus is the staff doesn't seem to care for you much if you didn't book with them directly through Hilton Honors. Booking through Expedia, they would not recognize your status (understood we would not receive the points but wanted it on our history so we can reference this property when booking for future trips) and gave very poor attitude and explanation.

Overall, I loved my stay at this all-inclusive hotel! The pools and beach were excellent, the food was great, and the views were stunning. The staff was very kind and attentive. I loved the nightly shows and random events throughout the day. I would definitely stay here again! A couple of notes - one of the restaurants was closed the whole time we were there but even when we asked employees, they weren’t aware it was closed. It would have been nice to have a heads up at check-in so we would stop checking to see if it was open! The room smelled pretty musty when the door to the balcony was closed. In a humid environment, I’m sure it’s hard to keep everything dry, but just a note for the more sensitive visitors. Thankfully, we were able to open the door and let the sea breeze in, so this would not be something that would deter me from coming back. A great stay in a great location for a great price.

Everything was great especially in the enclave areas! I would definitely recommend upgrading the room to one of the enclave ones. The only complaint I have is its a little crazy that I am paying almost $800 a night for a room and the TV can’t connect to netflix/wifi… We stayed in another hotel on this trip and it was a fraction of the cost plus it was able to have wifi and netflix.

Nice hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The balcony was great with a good view. The staff was outstanding. Food was very good. Service at steak restaurant was lacking but every where else, it was good. Staff at breakfast were awesome (Esmerelda and her team). Breakfast was good, but could have used different options daily. The pools were nice. Good service around the pool. The beach and swim area were great. Good snorkeling. Entertainment around the pool was good. Evening entertainment was lacking. The entertainers were good, just seemed like the same show every night with different costumes. And having it in the lobby was very poor, no place to sit or see around the columns.

We had an overall good time at the property. The first night our room was right next to the Lobby. There was some event in the lobby till 11 PM and it was very loud till then. We had little kids with us and they were not able to sleep till 11 PM. We asked for a room change and the hotel staff was nice enough to change our room, however, they put us right next to the Mojito lounge which had events going on till 10:30 PM which was louder than the Lobby area. Not sure why we were moved there when the reason we wanted to be moved was to stay in a quieter place. Overall good location though, just not as relaxing in the night as we would have liked it to be.

Room 132 had a horrible smell in it. They changed the air filter which help a bit but it still smelled bad. The management staff was not helpful at all. They either replied no or said ok to problems and did nothing. We were told previsit requests were not received and we had return confirmations from them. Yet they denied it. The food was fair. Reservations are not possible unless you have higher Hilton status.

Property is small but good. It’s clean, rooms are good and spacious and the hotel has a nice private beach. Restaurant are decent but booking the restaurant is a pain (scan code doesn’t work & you need to book in advance for dinner). Service at the Family pool is extremely slow, so sometimes you might have to go to the adult pool bar just to get a drink. Very few servers who are overwhelmed so the hotel can probably improve here. Room service is very good, they take long time (1 hr) time but deliver good food 24x7. Front desk is very good and considerate. Hotel Taxi service is very good and cheap as well.

This was our 6th time staying at this property, pretty much the whole staff is nice, but specially the staff at: the beach (Eduardo/Juan/Daniel), the Vella buffet (Norma/Isela/Medardo, and Marcos who makes the omelets), Auma restaurante (Rodrigo/Donovan), Israel working the kayaks, and Eduardo (pechocho) (who was working all over the place), this people went above and beyond to make us feel special, thank you all.

Friendliest staff I have ever experienced. Love this place. A few amazing people that helped us over and over. Victoria at the spa was nice and was great, Mario at vela was the nicest to our kiddos and really helpful with special requests like bananas for our boys, exael at maxal was kind with great recommendations, muramay/gila/karen at kids corner and el Rincon were so helpful with games, marcos made the best omelets. Isela at vela and Norma at vela were so nice to our 6/4/1 yr old and helpful getting high chair and any food for the. Loved the place.

I did not like how they did their reservations for dinner time. I stayed for five days and was only able to eat at a restaurant two of the days we had to have the buffet. You booked your reservation on an online app. Every morning when I got up at 8 AM, all the restaurants were totally booked. Evidently you were able to book 3 days out. I have stayed at this resort before and it wasn’t like that for that I will not be staying here ever again. This resort is not in town so it’s not walkable to town to get something to eat.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. it was our first trip to Mexico and we went with two other couples. The facility was very nice, accommodating, and the staff was pleasant. It was a quick uber to the Malecon. The only reason I gave an overall 4 stars was because there was no accessible food without drying off and entering a restaurant. They did have service around the pool, but that was limited to burgers, wings, and fries. With that said, we would definitely stay again!

The location of the Hilton was perfect for us. It is south of Downtown along the cliffs. This made the water much cleaner than the beaches downtown. Yet, it was an easy Uber into town when we wanted to go to the Marina for excursions or downtown for shopping/sights. It was also great to take an Uber south for some hiking/waterfalls. As a picky, foodie who tries to eat plant based, I was worried about the food options. But I should not have been. The buffet restaurant had lots of yummy options breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their 4-5 menu restaurants were fairly good too, but I actually preffered the buffet. The Mexican themed restaurant was the best of the menu'd ones. All the staff was super kind and helpful. We participated in some of the included activities too: Karaoke, movie trivia night, water aerobics, kayaking, live music. It was all great. Minor downsides: The desserts were not great. It seemed like they tried to go too fancy. Their cakes and puddings were lacking. Some simple fresh cookies would have been nice at the buffet. They had a family lounge that was open late that made crepes with ice cream which was cool, but the ice cream lacked flavor and the crepes were not great. The sushi restaurant was bad in my opinion. They lacked all the sauces that the menu said they had. No flavor. Also, I would have liked more authentic Mexican food. A street taco option would have been nice.

Overall it was really nice. The two things I didn’t like was its location from town is pretty far away and there is nothing around the hotel. The worst part was there was a very loud air handler beside my room room that was extremely noisy and made it hard to sleep

This Hilton is located about an hour South from the airport. Outside of the resort is nothing. Uber or taxi will get you to downtown. The resort seemed (Dec 14-21) to be mostly couples and families, not a lot of the 20 something crowd. The hotels bars seemed very quiet at 9pm unless there was something (special, ie casino night) going on. The situation of the Hotel prevents the sun from actually shining on the pools until 11:30am. Sun worshippers beware. The staff was excellent (Saul is too good to be true), Love the shore break creating a nice place to swim, some snorkelling too. Food was excellent compared to other Mexican resorts. No real complaints as the rooms were clean and well cared for.

This property was great. The staff from check-in to pool to restaurant were all so attentive and professional. The location was really beautiful and the beach was amazing to use, swimming in the ocean was a real highlight. We used the pool everyday and even sometime order lunch to our chairs. The restaurants were 10/10, amazing quality food which is why we continue to book the Hilton. We are never disappointed in the food and we want high quality meals and they always deliver!

They either replied no or said ok to problems and did nothing. We were told previsit requests were not received and we had return confirmations from them. Yet they denied it. The food was fair. Reservations are not possible unless you have higher Hilton status.

Our group of five stayed for seven nights, in two different rooms. Both rooms were well maintained, without any issues, and everyone was comfortable. The buffet was not always open during its posted hours, but it was never difficult to get a table at one of the a la carte restaurants and all the food we had was awesome. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful! The pools were a perfect temperature, and they had lots of entertainment and activities throughout the day. The tile could use some maintenance, but it didn’t affect anything. Our one and only complaint with the resort is the bird situation. There are so many birds around the pool, and thus there was a lot of bird poop in the pool. One day I saw six people attacked by birds. Even the staff was covering their heads with towels and trying to avoid the area. We saw birds walking on the buffet food line in the open air buffet, and even one standing in a bin of cheese at the breakfast tortilla stand. Gross. This is the first resort I’ve been to that didn’t have someone with a hawk to keep these smaller birds away, and it is most definitely needed. That being said, overall our experience was great and we would definitely return. Just need to get those birds taken care of!

The beach did not disappoint- safe and calm. Food was delicious and the Enclave VIP was so worth it. Been coming to PV for years and this is our new favorite spot.

The resort was kind of outdated restaurants were not open because they’re short staffed. One of the bigger pools is closed down, and the rooms are kinda old. The shower has more in it. Food is not good at all. Buffet is horrible. The food is very low quality will not stay there again.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The drinks and food were extremely poor in quality —definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made.

This is a great resort! The views are spectacular! Food was excellent staff was excellent Only complaint is that they only have a buffet till noon and I wish they more choices for breakfast and a earlier lunch

The food options are limited and quite plain, nothing special. There were bugs around the food, which was unpleasant. The room is nice with a great view, but it feels a bit humid. The dehumidifier is quite loud, which can be disturbing.

I did not like how they did their reservations for dinner time. I stayed for five days and was only able to eat at a restaurant two of the days we had to have the buffet. You booked your reservation on an online app. Every morning when I got up at 8 AM, all the restaurants were totally booked. Evidently you were able to book 3 days out. I have stayed at this resort before and it wasn’t like that for that I will not be staying here ever again. This resort is not in town so it’s not walkable to town to get something to eat.
