Location is great and the sleep was quiet and pretty comfortable. I rated it “average” because I was disappointed none of the treadmills worked, the Peloton is not the “hotel use” set-up where app users can also log-in (I could in other hotels), my body wash dispenser was empty (so I used the shampoo pump), zero cleaning wipes in the gym (not refilled), zero towels in the gym (not stocked), and my tv was not working until I tinkered with it and saw the receiver was broken off.

They don’t tell you that it’s an $8 daily fee to park. When you park, you have to go outside to get to the lobby. There is entry from the elevator. That means if it’s cold or raining you will be put in the elements. Secondly, they place a $50 hold on your account for every day that you stay. Refund is not given right away.

I had a corner city view room / suite and it was beautiful! The room, the carpet in the room, the sheets and bedding and towels were all clean and comfortable. The city view was beautiful and the wrap around deck was huge ! Bed slept good. I asked for a quiet room and got It. They have a Keurig in the room with pods, hairdryer etc. Elevator floor could use a hood cleaning. and wiping of elevator buttons Front staff last night at check in asked for my ID before they would provide me with a room key which I liked because that lets me know they’re doing their job. She was also very quick and proficient. Parking requires you to park in a deck and then walk outside to get in to the front entrance of hotel which was different and you pay when you leave in the parking garage.

Location! Location! Location is PERFECT!! That is if you want to be in the heart of downtown Roanoke! Facility was clean fast and friendly! Parking is super convenient for the attached parking complex which is also a huge plus!

Front desk staff is largely absent, so Hilton app is critical. Garage is attached but not super easy to get to from the hotel. Pet area is a small patch of grass between buildings. Location is great.

Great hotel with super continent attached parking garage. The only downside was I had to walk out of the parking garage and around to the front of the hotel pulling my suitcase in the rain to go in. Seems silly to have the garage right in the back but no direct entrance to the hotel. But other than that, the hotel was nice and clean and breakfast was very delicious.

Hotel is in a nice location with lots of surrounding Restaurants and stores. Very disappointed in the fitness facilities. One treadmill doesn’t work and unable to use Peloton. Staff were unable to assist in helping with the Peloton. Parking is located next to hotel, however you are supposed to use your room key to exit the parking garage which never worked.

The first room had dirty cloth left in shower and hairs in tub. Wouldn’t bet my life that the sheets were clean. Carpet had not been vacuumed. Upholstery was dirty. Gave us a cleaner room and staff was very apologetic and eager to please, but I will not stay there again.

Hotel looks good on the website but in reality the biggest disappointment i have ever seen, room was smelling like mildew and the bed looked like someone just made the bed without changing the sheets and the bathroom was dirty and the soap bottles were looked to the wall . Expected a better hotel for $ 219 a night.

Location was great, the room was ok, it just didn't seem very clean. There were cigarette butts on the balcony, the couch had stains, and the pillows looked like someone had just slept on them - the linens were not crisp- they were very wrinkly. The toilet paper roll holder was coming off the wall and there was hair on the shared hand soap bottle. There was only decaf coffee in the room but we were able to go down to the breakfast to get regular coffee. Staff was very nice and friendly at check-in. The view from the balcony was great. We only stayed one night so it was fine, but if we had been there longer I would have been disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. House keeping needs to do a better job.

Location was perfect with the market being across the street! The only thing was the beds weren’t that comfortable (too firm) and the hot water was not that hot… just warm enough but definitely not for someone who loves hot showers. Other than that, this hotel was great. We had a mountain view balcony room and it was spectacular!

The hotel was within walking distance to what I needed. Check-in was easy and it felt safe. I liked the added feature of having to use my keycard before the elevator would go up to the rooms. The room was very spacious and met all of my needs. The free breakfast was also nice.

Overall, our stay was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. My only complaint is there was very loud music in the room next to ours. At around 2 am, we called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. It certainly disrupted our sleep that evening.

Great location in Roanoke for weary travelers. There are only 3 guest floors. Many restaurants and small shops nearby. Hotel is aging, and the AC on the top floor was not really able to keep up with today's higher temps. The staff were very nice. Our one complaint is that the people who order and serve the breakfast do not know how to properly store and serve cut melon-it was literaly stinking when we stayed earlier in the week, and not much better this time. The rest of breakfast was up to Hampton standards.

The pictures of this hotel were definitely showing a nicer place than what you actually got. I paid extra to be in a nice room with a balcony that was supposed to have a great view of the city. Instead, our room was very bland and basic, did not really FEEL clean, and our balcony view was just us looking into an office building next door. I'm very disappointed that I paid more thinking we would have a really nice room, but we definitely did not get that. Also, if you leave something in the room, it is an absolute pain to get it back. The hotel does not do this; you have to go in and report it through a third-party website and get it back that way, which it is also pretty expensive (we paid $30 just to get a small stuffed animal shipped back to us). I would also like to add, while I'm here, that the walls are paper thin. We could hear the entirety of the conversations from the people in the room next to us. We had to turn the volume up on the movie we were watching to drown out the sound of their room. However, I would like to mention how convenient the hotel is to everything. We were only a 3-5 minute walk to the majority of shops/restaurants, and it took us about 10 minutes to drive to do some hiking and things near the Roanoke Star.

An clean, modern hotel with an excellent location. King room w/balcony was huge, well appointed and very comfortable. The blackout drapes were a nice addition to a good nights sleep.

The room is very nice. However, no one to help with your luggage and we had to wait close to an hour for a luggage cart upon our arrival. Then leaving we were stuck on a broken elevator for an hour. I will say the staff was awesome that got us out of there. We are so grateful to each of them. I live in Roanoke and my friend was in from out of town. I wanted to treat her to a special stay while she was here. It was between Hotel Roanoke or Hampton Inn. I wish now I would have picked Hotel Roanoke because of the amenities. The room at Hotel Roanoke was not much more than Hampton Inn either.

Hotel staff was so friendly! They didn’t have the room we booked available, but they immediately upgraded us no questions asked and honored original pricing. The hotel and room was very clean and tidy, and housekeeping was very respectful. Will be staying again for future trips to Roanoke!

We've stayed here several times and have always found the accommodations wonderful. This time, though, the staff seemed overwhelmed. Check-in was at 4:00, we arrived at 4:05 and they weren't sure our room was ready. We had friends traveling with us - their FIRST stay here - and they were sent to a room that wasn't yet cleaned. They had to be moved to another room, and, unfortunately, they were kept awake most of the night by a whining dog, a party and a fight. Truly a disappointing experience for them. This will not hinder us from giving it another shot on our next visit to Roanoke, but I don't adhere to a three-strike rule, with me, it's two strikes and you're out. Sorry.

Hotel refused to provide housekeeping each day. It's a hotel and they expect me to pay the rate each day then housekeeping should be provided. When we asked for housekeeping each day the staff replied that they are prohibited from doing housekeeping each day by Hilton. If this is the case it should be clearly stated upfront. I will not stay at hotels that do not provide daily housekeeping.

Upon arrival at 4pm, was informed this hotel was "overbooked", and there was no room. Thete was no offer to assist in finding another room, no apology, and no explanation. Will never use Expedia or this hotel chain again!

It was fine. Had participated in the No Kings protest and the hotel was near the protest site with good and reasonably priced parking. Ate at Fortunato for dinner which was perhaps a 10 minute walk.

I chose this hotel because the web site said it was a 2 minute walk to Center in the Square. Strictly speaking, that is true. The hotel is directly across the street from the back door of the Center. However, that door is kept locked. To actually get into the Center you have to walk around the block to the front door - about a 10 minute walk. Not comfortable for a woman alone.

Location was absolutely perfect for the Blue Ridge marathon weekend. The parking was validated with my stay, all staff were very polite and courteous, and the room was clean! All elevators were working, and the breakfast selection was good each morning. Thankfully, this hotel is located downtown and convenient to restaurants, coffee shops, boutique shopping. Elmwood park is across the street which made for an easy walk to race day, packet pickup, and concerts.

Located immediately adjacent to great shops and restaurants, great views from the rooms, clean, modern - a great property. Only downside was a staff member who should not be in any customer facing role except maybe collections or prison guard. Other staff were fantastic and customer-focused. Robust and tasty breakfast although there are many fine breakfast restaurants. For dinner try Sixth & Sky - superb!

The location was good if you desired to walk the downtown area. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast could of had a greater variety and an overview of hotel security would have been helpful. (not explained that you needed to use your key in the elevator to reach upper rooms of the hotel. There were no trays to carry breakfast foods to the room. Not everyone desires to eat in the breakfast area.
