Breezy Palms Resort

Great resort, clean rooms, clean property, great water views, nice beach area with clean sand, water area could have been cleaned of seaweed, pool was very clean but ladder was broken and should have been fixed.

We loved the hotel and it’s right on the beach. Older charming motel type property with a great pool and very comfortable beds!

Great stay overall. The room was clean and spacious. The pool is nice and you are close to bars and restaurants.

We enjoyed having a full kitchen and screened in lanai, water views and very comfy bed. The pool was nice to come back to after a day out on our boat.

Quiet place with a private beach. Beautiful sunrises and close to sights, restaurants and grocery store.

This is a great little place to stay at a very good rate. It is walking distance to some amazing restaurants. The room had been updated, it was clean. Staff was friendly but I wouldn’t say they go out of their way. The beach is good for relaxing at but it’s pretty shallow a long way out so not much for swimming. The pool was nice but you lose the sun early due to placement. I’d stay here again.

Pictures and description are accurate. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice beach area and pool, though not resort like. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. No bar or food on site, but several walkable options. Boat jet ski rental available. Only downside was morning wake up by a wild rooster who calls the place his home.

We visited Breezy Palms for our 20th wedding anniversary. We took advantage of the boat rental on site, had a great day on the water. Played cards on our lanai. Used the lovely pool, walked to local restaurants, and had a memorable time. Definitely will be back!

The pictures online do not do this place justice. Tucked between two larger hotels, it’s like an oasis. Our room in particular had a grassy lawn facing the water, was spotless and well appointed. Small beach, pool and sandy area (volleyball court) is adjacent to a dock and boat launch for interesting views. Lots of iguanas and a local rooster completes the ambiance.

Door won't lock at all, toilet won't flush properly. Huge cockroaches (7 big ones in 6 days) wandering around the room.

Our 3 night stay was wonderful!!! The staff was so nice and checkin was super fast!! Our room looked just like the pictures on the website. Everything was clean and updated. Beds were so comfortable!! The grounds were very nice and clean. One of the highlights of our stay was Bonnie the cat!! She was the sweetest little kitty!!! Pool was very nice and the beach area was beautiful!! If you’re looking nice relaxing stay then this is the place!!! Can’t wait to visit again!!!!

Bathroom was very dirty upon entering room, mold on ceiling, tub andshower curtain. Water did not drain in shower at all for very first shower. We called office, office called maintenance, they could not repair, called outside repair, our room was full of repair people for hours!!! We requested a refund or a different room. The very rude and unprofessional manager/owner refused and replied angrily that we "ruined HIS day!!!" Worst hotel and service we\'ve ever experienced. Wish I had paid attention to the bad reviews I\'m reading now before booking.

Small roach in the bathroom and a empty water bottle and a dirty rag in the bathroom cabinet. The rest of the room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Disappointed my room 213, an oceanfront room, was not renovated. This was misleading and upsetting because it was advised after our checkin. The property has security cameras throughout. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing but the unit’s condition needs immediate improving and blocked from booking until it’s achieved.

Had a great room that had a private patio with very nice patio furniture overlooking the ocean. Also had a full kitchen

The property is older, but very well maintained and renovated. The check in was wonderful. He gave us info about the room and recommended different things to do in the area. The room was very clean, updated, with an ocean view. The bed was very comfortable good morn

Rooms was very nice- AC very loud, no curtains in bedroom so lights shining in all night. Furnishings new and nice.

The check in process could have been much smoother and mor commutative than it was, especially for our first time staying. The room was great but a recommendation for blackout curtains where the beds are located due to the lights outside the room. But would stay here again.

The resortbis very nice for a budget keys place. The ubit was great. Very clean. The property offers a lot and its so close to bud and marys. The only issue we found was how loud it is inside the unit. Paper thin walls. If youre ok with that, cant beat the place.

We liked that it was a small resort and wasn’t busy and crowded. We really enjoyed the ocean front room steps from the sand area and pool as well! The rooms were nice-updated and was great having full kitchen area and grills outside to use if wanted!

Owner/manager was terrific. Walls are thin- could hear neighbor snoring Bummer that smoking was allowed on and near the jetty. Pool.was busy and family oriented but pleasant and clean. Cool vanity in bathroom- albeit there seemed to be a former medical stand being used as furniture in living room. Great to have kitchen area. IM is an expensive area for going out a lot.

The stay were good but they charge a deposit and never return my money back

HORRIBLE!! Once you check in and pay the amount they start treating you like slaves or prisoners, no access to food or clean bottled water, we had to sleep thirsty but wait the worst part is yet to come. We were under the assumption that check out is at 12 and hence were just relaxing at the beach but when we returned to our room at 10:50 only to see that the room door is open , immediately checked our valuables and rushed to take bath and the cleaners barged into my room when I was putting on my clothes. I was shocked and annoyed so called the reception to question and the lady started giving rude responses that we crossed our check out time (and it was just 11:20 by then) so I got more annoyed and cut the call. And she started banging my door and asked me to vacate the room in 2 minutes or else she would call the cops. I requested her that we have a small kid who is all dirty and needs a bath but she wasn’t budging. So we have to vacate the room in under 10 minutes. I woukd highly recommend all the families to avoid this property to avoid such horrible experiences that are so demeaning.

DO NOT STAY at BREEZY PALMS! This is my first review because I am usually pleased with my stays but….I booked an Ocean View King room for 4 nights, beginning on a Sunday. Monday morning was awoken to construction directly over our room. The next morning, same thing. Spoke with office staff about the disturbance and that there was no mention of construction/remodeling in the hotel description. She replied “We don’t have to put that on our listing”. After calling Expedia, they agreed to move us to a lesser Pool View Room (right next door to the laundry room). It was fine, at least we were away from the construction on our vacation. At check-out, there was a difference between the price I paid for 4 nights in an Ocean View room. The manager/co owner refused to apply the difference in price toward my credit card, rather offering to give me a hotel credit. I live 6.5 hours away and requested the refund to no avail. Bad business practice. Also, they have on-site jet ski and boat rentals. Seems like a nice perk, however the owner brings a female companion who sits in a running truck ALL DAY! So, if you have an Ocean View room, not only are you relaxing to the sound of a truck exhaust, you are also smelling the fumes. This is not a good place to relax and if you have a problem, good luck dealing with this unreasonable manager/co-owner.

Wonderful experience - highly recommend!! From check in to check out was great. All staff were very helpful, property was well kept, relaxing, quiet & very easy location to site’s & restaurants.

The “manager” single handedly ruined our trip. Patricia was rude, aggressive, and unreasonable. Simple requests were made (i.e. extra towels), and they were ignored. When we followed up 2 hours later we were met with lies, aggravation, and aggressive gestures. In the end, we moved hotels.

I love this hotel. Beautiful setting right on the ocean. Gorgeous sunrises. Very clean and the staff was wonderful! Bathroom is a bit small with little counter space but I can live with that given the rest of the pluses! Great location!

Great central location in the Keys, exterior property is immaculately maintained, very clean inside spacious accommodations, full kitchen area, our unit had updated bathroom fixtures, very pleased overall.

The location was great. Great that the bike path was right in front. The only small issue is the road noise. But with as busy as US 1 is, this is probably the same situation at most resorts.

Good property with easy access parking and excellent coffee. Bathtub could have been a bit cleaner. Ocean view was lovely. Super interesting to see iguanas scurrying about!

We really liked this establishment. It was very good indeed and we are giving Breezy Palms 5 stars. Our room was clean, well maintained, big fluffy towels and we were right next to the beach. There were two tiny problems. One, there were no bars of soap but body wash in a dispenser on the shower wall but the problem was the dispenser was empty. And second, there was a 4 cup coffee maker but no coffee!! I don’t know why but I went to the office and they gave a cup of Folgers and an oversized filter and we did fine. Neither one of those two minor problems caused us to decrease our ratings. They are a first class accommodation

The suite was clean and comfortable with good beds and good coffee available in the morning. I would come back.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cups, saucers, coffee, pot, toaster, refrigerator, stove oven. All you need to do is bring your own food. It didn’t supply coffee filters for the coffee pot so you might want to keep that in mind we had to use the paper towels as filters it worked out OK the beds are comfortable. We had a first floor so we walked right out to the dock lots of iguanas, but they seem to be friendly little disappointed on the small area for taking a quick dip and I mean a quick dip it could’ve been dredged out a little bit. Outside in the yard, you have a barbecue grill you need to supply your own charcoal or barbecues next-door has a nice restaurant a tiki bar and music which you walk there in two minutes all casual Attire. To swim,we went to the state parks. One is only five minutes up the road and is free to get him if you show your room reservation to the guard. That was called founders State Park We didn’t do much seeking out restaurants so I can’t help you there, but I do know that there were plenty within a matter of a 2-5 minute drive We met a lot of nice people. You can also rent a boat right there for the day or for half a day you can go up the road to Robbies marinas catch a ride ,little over $100 a person for half a day.
