Hotel lobby area was clean and neat. Could definitely tell from hallway and stairwell that it was an older building. Handrails were missing and carpet torn on stairs. Advertised with casino but the main one was closed and the small one they lead us to appeared kind of sketchy.

We had travelled 8 hours and booked the hotel online because it was just off the interstate, had a bar and pool. We arrived to find the bar had closed early with no notification and the pool was cold. The staff memeber was friendly and helpful, the room was clean

The hallways smelled like sewer. The beds were uncomfortable- one of the beds had a huge dip in it almost to the point that when you laid down, you hit the base of the bed. The pool area is tile and super slick when wet- the hot tub had mold around the top where the tile didn’t meet up with the hot tub. The jets in the hot tub didn’t work.

It had a nice big pool area but the ceiling was leaking and falling in. The breakfast room was so dirty - water in the food warmer had been in there for years! Needs an update!

Restaurant and bar closed. Pool area has mold on all windows. Hall smels of mildew. Room has mold, no air flow as bathroom fan did not work. Sink plugged. Towels and swim suits dont dry because the humidity is not controlled. Breakfast is not good. Powdered eggs, no protein foods. Not staying here again and do not recommend. Wish i could get a refund!

Shower had lots of black mold on it. Temperature control on shower was non-existent. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Pieces of ceiling and wall flaking onto carpet. Locks on doors broken. Carpet was dirty and stained.

When we checked in there was a used wash rag on the shower Curtin. There is black mold all around the ceiling of the shower which is extremely gross. i truly want a recund for Saturday the 30th.

The floor/carpet was gummy and spongy - dirty, there was large paint chips missing from the wall and mildew stains all over the bathroom. We left there yesterday and my son had three bedbug bites on his arm. We were there for a soccer tournament and were told by another family that there was also another hotel in town with bedbugs that weekend. Be mindful of where you stay.

Our room was in need of a big remodel. The door jam to the outside was rusted away. The door jam to the hallway had rust & peeling paint all the way around it. That door had a swath of white paint from a roller over blue. The toilet was old, very low to the ground & the seat was peeling. Laminate floors but they were filthy. Bed was ok. Breakfast was the best part of the stay. Eggs, sausage, breads, bagels, rolls, muffins, yogurt, cereal, juice, milk, coffee. It definitely was not worth $100. If I hadn’t been familiar with the city we were in, I would’ve asked for a refund & gone somewhere else.

Every section of the hotel smelled differently, not in a good way. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Hard to believe in today’s world hotels still don’t have queen size beds. It was ok there clean enough inside but outside looking really dated. I would stay there but my wife would not.

The Host checking us in in the evening was friendly, efficient, and very personable. Our room was very large and nice with 2 queen beds, a desk, dresser, and reading chair. The sink & large countertop area outside of the bathroom allowed us to get ready easily in the morning. Oh, and the free breakfast really was fantastic! The Hostess there went above & beyond to make sure we had hot, fresh food -- biscuits, sausage, & gravy, multiple breakfast pizzas, potatoes, eggs, fresh pineapple, grapes, and yogurt -- as well as beverages. A nice send-off for our day.

It was easy to find just off the freeway. Easy too get too the Wedding Reception we were going too. Staff was polite & in formed of what was going on there that we my like & gave us direction to our Reception. All in all it was a good experience for strangers to the area.

Arrived at 1:24 am and no staff in site. Rang service bell 3 times before calling the hotel. Customer Service rep came from room behind counter dazed as if he’d been sleeping. Beds and room were decent. AC unit made the most horrible noise. Day 2 of stay, we were locked out of our room due to a reservation miscommunication between booking site and hotel. I provided proof of my reservation and receipt of payment. Rep stated rate was incorrect. Activated our key and off I went. Rudely woke up by housekeeping next morning!! Checkout was 11 am she knocked aggressively at 9 am.

Our family with two kids had originally booked a three night stay with another hotel. Long story short it was a nightmare and we ended up at Econolodge trying to find a room for the weekend. We pulled up and an employee was out cleaning the windows and front. She came in and in the middle of my panic not only got us a room but helped us with an early check in so we could unload our car and continue our plans for the day. Erica was the absolute best and I’m so thankful for her this weekend. Employees were constantly cleaning everywhere and asking how our stay was going. Our room was clean, the food was great, the employees were so friendly, the pool was fantastic especially for kids, and all in all Erica and her staff saved our weekend that was headed for disaster! Thank you, we will be back!

The front desk staff was wonderful and let us check in early. He was helpful and very kind. The first room he sent us to was not cleaned and the door was open, so we went back and he quickly resolved the issue. Our second room had stains on the lamp, some flooring was ripped out, and it looked like the floor wasn’t fully vacuumed by the exterior door. We went to the hot tub also and there was moss growing on the outside of it. Overall, though, it was a pleasant experience. Room for improvement in the cleanliness/ upkeep.

Started off very poor with the front desk. the gentleman had poor English and gave me wrong information of location and insisted I just pay a 201 dollar fee for one night. Wi-Fi was very poor and went I went to book the room it was the wrong location and the price was ok but when I went to confirm, the date changed to the next night. So I called Epedia meany times add was hung up on. And once again nobody can speak English much. Then the gentleman came out and apologized about the wrong address. I called Expedia customer service and not much they can do since its within 24 hours... called my bank and now waiting next what to do... I should not be charged the 80.?? for this issue

The customer service was excellent! The room was clean; along with the bedding, towels and surfaces. We noticed some places on the walls needed touch up or finish painting. The tub needed to be replaced due to rust and cracks. The parking lot was confusing due to the restaurant and casino being attached. We only knew of one entrance in and out of the hotel. Our room was either chilly or hot and the fan ran constantly. Thankfully, we had a couple extra blankets we brought along, to keep us warm.

Only needed for a place to sleep before an early morning medical appointment. Price was very reasonable. Rooms could use a bit of painting, but nothing terrible. Pool area looked nice, but we did not use. Was attached to a bar/pizza restaurant that we did not visit. Found it odd that the breakfast area was just some warmers set out with food, completely unattended, and that there were absolutely no drinks. No coffee, juice, milk, anything at all. We did find a small coffeepot in the lobby, but not everyone drinks coffee. Thought that was strange.

Worst breakfast that I've ever had at a hotel. Just terrible. It was obvious that there is absolutely no care about that aspect of service. Free breakfast is an important part of selecting a hotel, especially customers with children. Scrambled eggs, sausage patty, bacon, bisquits and gravy. All cold. No microwave to heat it up. Nothing keeping it warm. Had to go down the hall for a cup of coffee. No cereal or juices. On top of that, had a roach running around my nightstand. I didn't even know that we have roaches in the Dakotas. The staff was pleasant. The place felt secure and well built and quiet.

It was nice, but the restaurant/bar attached was closed/out of business, the complimentary breakfast was lacking: ran out of coffee, eggs were not so great, the pool area was dirty, and there was no turn-down service to ask for extra pillows or towels. Also, the blankets were itchy. The front desk was very nice and polite. It was a nice stay, the place just needs some TLC.
