This hotel is a good value. Facilities are great, and the staff is exceptional. I especially liked the outdoor seating areas and the pool table. Amenities in the bathroom were good quality. I would prefer carpet to the wooden floors in the rooms as my bare feet were dirty from walking bed to bathroom. Even tho coffee was available in the lobby, I do like having a coffee maker in the room….no coffee maker here.

New and clean Tru. Convenient for business in Wilson. Also like that it is pet friendly. Nice breakfast. Only complaint with Tru is no coffee makers in the room.

Lobby was welcoming and the staff very polite. Everything was clean. Bathroom was like new. Soap dispensers were handy. Bed was comfortable and sheets were soft. I got a nice workout in the gym.

Everything was really good, friendly, really clean, love all the hooks. My only problem was the soap and hair conditioner were empty and once you’re in the shower and wet it’s a real bummer! Hopefully a fluke

Hotel is new and generally nice however housekeeping needs more attention. The soap container in the bathroom for my room was empty as well as the shampoo in the shower. Clearly housekeeping did not check. Also the laminate floor in our room was not vacuumed properly as dirt would accumulate on my feet while walking around

This was the second time in 1 week we stayed there. Both times the bed had a dirty human odor, my husbands pillow smelled like scalp. My pullow had an occasional scent of womens purfume. The sheets did not have fresh, clean smell. They were wrinkly like sleep in for a few days..Really disgusting...but the bathroo. was meticulous..facilty in great shape..othet than the 2% milk curdled in my coffee..Poor QC!!!!

The staff is amazing and the rooms are great size. However we kept finding long dark hairs throughout the room. I suspect they were housekeeping, but they were still concerning.

It was nice, although there is no microwave or kureg in the room. The refrigerator was not very cool on max took longer than 5 hours to cool a drink. The area is nice tho lots of things close by less than 3 minutes

Property was clean and felt safe. When we turned on the tv for the Super Bowl, it was only broadcasting in Spanish. The front desk agent quickly moved us to a different room where the tv had the game broadcast in English. Unfortunately the neighbors above us were incredibly loud and the laminate flooring did nothing to muffle the noise. Didn’t get the best nights sleep due to the noise level. But overall, the property and the hotel employees were very good. Would definitely stay here again but would ask for a top floor room.

The staff we not helpful or accommodating. They overbooked the hotel by 13 rooms with two beds in them, so they would have to switch us to two separate rooms with a king in each (this happened to several people staying)...We explained we were traveling alone with children did not feel comfortable leaving our kids alone in a separate room. They were very rude. Told us that we would then have to cancel the reservation (that we had for months) and stay down the road if we wouldn't do it. Also several other safety concerns with broken door locks (rooms and outside doors) that we would like to talk to a Hilton representative about which are very concerning.

Can't say enough about how much we appreciate this hotel and staff. The hotel itself is very clean and easily accessible off the highway. The town is cute and everyone was very friendly. But what we appreciated the most is the help we received from the staff when we woke up to a dead car battery the next morning. The maintenance man, Juan, first tried to give us a jump. When that didn't work, he drove my husband to Walmart to buy a new battery and even helped him install it. We're so grateful for their kindness and going above and beyond for their guests. Would definitely stay here again!

Lady at check in looked like I was bothering her just to check in. No smile, no hello, no welcome, no nothing. Water was on floor from front door to elevator. No effort to dry the water or put out a safety sign. Children were running around lobby unsupervised. A danger to bumping into senior citizens. Small children began screaming at 9pm and continued for over an hour. In their room, hallways, elevator, and even outdoors. We were scared, it sounded as if children, including infants, were being abused. We were afraid to leave our room. From midnight to 3am it sounded like a war was going on in the floor above us. We were literally terrified and afraid to even call the front desk.

Check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean. It was a bit noisy until around midnight due to some people sitting outside in the patio area with very loud talking, laughing, etc. we called the front desk. But nothing was done to address the problem.

I was accused of smoking when I asked the manager to accompany me to the room so we see together no smoke or anything was in the room she must’ve smelled it on me in my personal book bag she refused to come show me and was focused on charging me a few when I hadn’t even checked in for more then 10 minutes I dropped my bags left the hotel and came back to the accusations was forced to book another room somewhere else it was unprofessional and she did not even listen to her employee who did accompany me to my room and saw there was no smoking done in the room she just did not care

Trash in the lobby was overflowing. Music outside was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other. I asked the front desk lady to turn it down and she said no. The music played most of the night and we could hear it in our room. Way too loud.

For the quality of a Tru hotel this one was not up to par, very very noisy at night late into the night, the room and bed seemed old and not in the best of shape the automatic shade was ripped and did not open more than half way, breakfast was kind of horrible, no waffle machine machine no fresh fruit and no selection whatsoever, slightly disappointed

My overall stay was excellent. My critique is that the quality of plasticware in the breakfast area is substandard. The fork was so flimsy it wouldn't cut a soft pancake and could become a choking hazard for a young child who accidently snapped of a tine and consumed it. A higher quality plasticware would be more cost effective in the long run as less would be used due to breakage. As a side note, in the area where snacks are sold, cans of soup are available for purchase and heating however, there were no spoons with which to consume the hot soup with.

Never stayed at a Tru hotel before. Now it will be my go to. It was so modern, bright and very clean. Great beds! Breakfast was very good, with a lot of options.
