Clean and tidy family cabin

Family friendly, late check in at midnight was available.

Cabin was fine for 2 nights. Close to things with a nice view. Beds were hard and not comfy and we were only given 1 towel each for 2 nights. When checking in, I was not told that we had to do the dishes, nor was it in any of the literature given to me, or in the fees and policies on hotels.com. After we checked out, I got a phone from the reception saying they were charging us a cleaning fee because “it’s not the cleaner’s responsibility to do your dishes”. She was really rude and would not listen and just said she would invoice me $20 as it’s standard everywhere for dishes to be done ourselves. I mentioned I wasn’t told about it and she didn’t care and was even more rude. If I knew, I would have done it, but either way, she shouldn’t have been so rude.

A decent drive from the CBD but I had business not far away. A 10 minute walk will take you to a highway that has plenty of shops, all the take away majors and a lot of pizza shops. Getting Uber or Didi early morning at school time is tricky, allow an extra 20 minutes. My cabin 6 had no wifi but opposite the park and peaceful. I would stay again for sure.

Great little cabin, air conditioned in main room, needed a fan for bedroom to move cool air in, but was heatwave conditions. That's our 2nd stay there
