Room was a good size and clean. All the amenities down stairs. Kettle and cup in room. Air con that worked on cooling thank goodness and not set too hot. That is the biggest win for me with this place. Walking distance to trains and shops and supermarkets very handy location. Would def stay again here.

Good location right opposite the metro station. Lots of shops nearby. We had the triple room. Rooms looked new and beds were comfortable and large. Everything was clean. Bathrooms were really nice and the shower was powerful. Staff were really helpful. They had a nice process for holding our luggage after check out. They also had a suitcase weighing scale! Little amenities - brush, comb, tea/coffee sachets etc. were available in the lobby to pick up if you needed it. We traveled with kids and found it very convenient. The room had a small fridge. There were a couple of microwaves in the common area with vending machines in floor 4 near the laundry room. We didn't stay in the hotel during the day but would have likely found it pleasant if all we wanted to do was just stay-in and rest. We initially had trouble finding fresh fruit, but found a really well stocked grocery store (Peacock store) just a couple blocks from the hotel.

Everything was perfect, it seems like this hotel thinks about any small details that are important for tourists. I even saw a weight scale in the lobby for the luggages. I would reserve again with Sotetsu.

The room size was great, and the free toiletry items were a nice touch. The location is very convenient as it is basically right next to Takadanobaba station. Self check-in and check-out process was extremely fast as well. It took less than 2 minutes to check in and it was even faster to check out. The staff is also very accommodating. I was able to ask for a specific room cleaning time.

Location is unbeatable. The hotel is right next to a Donki (Don Quixote) with a 7-Eleven across the way. More importantly, the hotel is directly across from Takadanobaba station, which is on the JR Yamanote line (JY15) and Seibu line, which will get you to any part of Tokyo with ease. You’re just a couple of stops away from Shibuya and Shinjuku if you take the Yamanote. Additionally, this hotel is also situated next to one of the Tokyo Metro (subway) stations, which is also convenient. There’s also a lot of local restaurants and shops nearby and a mall across the street from the hotel. The hotel itself is newer, very clean, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant downstairs also serves a great breakfast. There is a small laundry room with three coin-operated combo washer/dryer machines (¥100 coins only). However, these laundry machines are frequently in-use and the drying cycle isn’t great for drying cotton. The TVs in the guest rooms tell you which machines are in-use and how much time is left, but in my experience, the status on the TVs were pretty inaccurate. I wouldn’t rely on that. You’re better off walking to a nearby coin laundry to wash you clothes.

I loved this property! It was clean and the staff went above and beyond; they were super nice and understanding. The room was also the perfect amount of space for 2 people (since Tokyo is notorious for small hotel rooms). They also had a bunch of free things to grab like pajamas that my boyfriend wore and qtips, tea packets, lotion, etc. It was also right next to the train which was amazing. A ton of food options on that same street too

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was small with one case on the luggage rack in the short corridor creating a very narrow passage in and out of the room and the other case at the foot of our bed. Self check in was easy as was the check out and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, fresh sheets upon arrival (unlike some other hotels we have stayed in) and the cleaners did a good job cleaning our rooms when requested, although they did not replace our dirty mugs when the room was cleaned. This hotel was in a handy location, with convenience shops all around it, lots of eating places and Takadanobaba Station just across the road. Shinjuku, a great place to shop and eat, was just two stops away. We would stay here again

I am so glad I chose this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, new, and comfortable. The location is excellent in terms of convenience stores, dining, and there is even a Don Quijote next door. Not sure why some people in the reviews had issues finding food as there is heaps in the area. In terms of public transport it is also well connected, being a 3 min walk to Takadanobaba Station. If you are flying into Narita it is very easy to get to this hotel and you only need to change trains once assuming you take the Skyliner like I did. The buffet breakfast was also decent and there were plenty of options for food both Western and Japanese - so if you want one less thing to worry about do the breakfast as it really made our trip so seamless. This is a great place to stay in Tokyo and it will be my hotel of choice when I return as the price was great value considering all of the above. I cannot thank the staff at this hotel enough.

The rooms are a bit on the small side, but this is a terrific hotel in a terrific location! The breakfast is mostly Japanese, with a few western options. We had breakfast there most days and lunch on our arrival day. The food was very good. I was a little disappointed that they did not have an espresso option in the morning, but there are cafes nearby. The bathrooms have lovely deep soaking tubs, and the hotel has an amenities station near the elevator where they have complimentary bath salts. It was great after a long day of walking! This location is fantastic - it was great to be right across the street from a small subway station on the Yamanote line! The larger subway stations can be a little overwhelming - this one was very manageable, and everyplace we wanted to go to in Tokyo was just a short hop away. This was our second trip to Tokyo and will definitely use this hotel again.

Pretty central location. Hotel was comfortable. The best thing for us was that the rooms were soundproof- we couldn’t hear anything. Since we are light sleepers, this makes a huge difference. Comfortable room.

Our toom was very small, and the window was under some staircase. Other than that very good stay. Great location, train/subway station across the street. Excellent service with taxi bookings etc, clean rooms and toilets, tasty breakfast incl variety of Asian and Western foods. 1 min to train station and plenty of cheap and tasty restaurants right outside.

Hotel is located just outside Takadanobaba Station on the Yamanote Line and some other local lines. I chose the hotel for supposedly it being quiet and it definitely was. The room comes with plenty of signs or paper explaining services and how to use certain things in the room like the bidet. I chose a superior double room even though I was solo. There was space under the hanger rack to put luggage if you want to or put it against the wall under tv at door of bed. Room of course small in these type of hotels. Almost all the staff spoke decent enough English without me having to pull a translator out versus experiences elsewhere. All the staff I encountered were professional and helpful. I was happy with the room. Hot water and pressure were good. Bed comfortable. There aren’t a lot of restaurants that stay open in the area after 10-11 pm. It’s not a nightlife area. Hotel is located just outside Takadanobaba Station on the Yamanote Line and some other local lines. I chose the hotel for supposedly it being quiet and it definitely was. The room comes with plenty of signs or paper explaining services and how to use certain things in the room like the bidet. I chose a superior double room even though I was solo. There was space under the hanger rack to put luggage if you want to or put it against the wall under tv at door of bed. Room of course small in these type of hotels. Almost all the staff spoke decent enough English without me having to pull a translator out versus experiences elsewhere. All the staff I encountered were professional and helpful. I was happy with the room. Hot water and pressure were good. Bed comfortable. There aren’t a lot of restaurants that stay open in the area after 10-11 pm. It’s not a nightlife area. Had an amazing stay! The location, facilities, and staff exceeded my expectations and were incredibly helpful. However, I did arrange for a wake-up call that I didn’t receive. Additionally, I would appreciate it if housekeeping could be more cautious. I noticed that my dad's reading glasses were flipped underneath the bed while the housekeeper was making the bed. Thankfully, I was able to help him find them, but otherwise, he might not have known where to look. Overall, I would definitely return if I have the chance to visit Tokyo again!

Location is unbeatable. The hotel is right next to a Donki (Don Quixote) with a 7-Eleven across the way. More importantly, the hotel is directly across from Takadanobaba station, which is on the JR Yamanote line (JY15) and Seibu line, which will get you to any part of Tokyo with ease. You’re just a couple of stops away from Shibuya and Shinjuku if you take the Yamanote. Additionally, this hotel is also situated next to one of the Tokyo Metro (subway) stations, which is also convenient. There’s also a lot of local restaurants and shops nearby and a mall across the street from the hotel. The hotel itself is newer, very clean, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant downstairs also serves a great breakfast. There is a small laundry room with three coin-operated combo washer/dryer machines (¥100 coins only). However, these laundry machines are frequently in-use and the drying cycle isn’t great for drying cotton. The TVs in the guest rooms tell you which machines are in-use and how much time is left, but in my experience, the status on the TVs were pretty inaccurate. I wouldn’t rely on that. You’re better off walking to a nearby coin laundry to wash you clothes.

The rooms are a bit on the small side, but this is a terrific hotel in a terrific location! The breakfast is mostly Japanese, with a few western options. We had breakfast there most days and lunch on our arrival day. The food was very good. I was a little disappointed that they did not have an espresso option in the morning, but there are cafes nearby. The bathrooms have lovely deep soaking tubs, and the hotel has an amenities station near the elevator where they have complimentary bath salts. It was great after a long day of walking! This location is fantastic - it was great to be right across the street from a small subway station on the Yamanote line! The larger subway stations can be a little overwhelming - this one was very manageable, and everyplace we wanted to go to in Tokyo was just a short hop away. This was our second trip to Tokyo and will definitely use this hotel again.
