the power went out for 3 hours from 12am to almost 3 am and they didnt offer any sort of compensation, like a payment deduction off of parking or anything. ALSO i really do not think we should have to pay for daily parking if we have a key card for the hotel to enter. We are already paying over $600 a night to stay there

The JW Marriott is a beautiful hotel, and the staff inside the hotel are great. If you want to go to Mall of America, can’t beat the location as you can actually walk directly to the mall from the hotel. The valet, has serious room for improvement; the valet is a third party company so they do not care and are extremely lazy. The pool is also not anything to get excited about. Extremely small and no hot tub. Overall, a nice stay at the JW, but be aware that the pool and valet suck there 😂

The elevators are painfully slow to get to your floor. They even go past and you have to hit the button again. A bunch of us took the stairs today after waiting what seemed like forever.

One thing I was disappointed they said that they had Wi-Fi when you go to set up there’s a charge for the speed and per day. There’s also no continental breakfast. There’s also no microwave that was in our room for a hotel that says that they had free Wi-Fi they don’t.

The property is good and at a good location. We love it. It says on Expedia that the internet is free but the hotel wanted to charge us. We copied the page where it says that then it was let go. Parking is $24 daily, just consider that if you are driving. But overrall is a good hotel.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Try clean nice room. Only thing stopping from 5 stars are awful pillows and the entire pool area need reworked, updated, more convenience for guests with children like seating areas and such. Regardless, would recommend this place 10/10 times.

The hotel mislead us with regards to available beds. Staff was unwilling to make adjustments. Staff repeatedly screwed up simple requests for towels, bedding, and other basics. Room was uncomfortable, unkept, and the housekeeping staff made it more challenging. No fridge is a bit ridiculous this day and age. Only benefit was the proximity to the mall, however going forward we will use the Radisson. This visit at this hotel was far worst than the last.

We always stay here everytime we go! Very friendly and accommodating staff, happy it’s conveniently connected to the mall for our LO who is two so she can go for naps and we don’t have to worry about driving back and forth while my husband and son walk around. Very clean and spacious rooms and they gave us the end of the hall which gave off privacy and was quiet!

The hotel was a typical mall property, nothing special. Room was a bit dated with tattered pillows on the couch. We had a pull out sofa in the suite for our 2 toddlers and the blanket that was provided was one of the roughest blankets I’ve ever felt. I would not stay here again.

Unfortunately at check in they did not have the room set up as requested via email and I had to physically ask the front desk to set up the sofa bed and a pack and play. I’m not sure why Marriot sent out and replied to personal emails regarding these things and then did not provide them. Restaurant had decent food and a kids’ menu which they enjoyed. Convenient to airport and of course mall.

I tried to check out early in the morning on May 8. Nobody around. I looked all over. Finally went into restaurant where one gentleman scolded me for not knowing the Marriott doesn't check people out that time of day. Helped me locate valet who was back at his post and quite sullen with me. No apologies, nada. I've stayed at MOA Marriott for seven years, never again after such rude treatment.

We really enjoyed the JW Marriott Staff was friendly and helpful! The 3rd party valet was not helpful! They never greeted me, they always expected me to bring the key fob to them. I tipped them every time out of obligation rather than service!

We always stay here everytime we go! We enjoyed staying here very much! Tim’s convenience is unparallel with the US Bank stadium, airport and mall of America. We loved having everything close! The check in process was the only hiccup. It took longer than anticipated and there was some mix ups, but all in all, our stay was wonderful.
