I ended up booking this hotel over the other options with the same star rating because Oxford offered an airport shuttle. I did see that the airport shuttle starts at 6am and to notify front desk when checking in to set that up; however, we were told the shuttle actually starts at 10am and there’s no guarantee for a shuttle before that time. I could’ve booked a better hotel for the same price and just paid for a taxi or uber. I was very annoyed and disappointed considering Bellingham airport has limited flights and this hotel should guarantee all times for a shuttle. My flight was at 9am.

Great place to overnight as Canadians for a morning Nexus appt. All the staff were lovely. Hotel was very quiet. Unfortunately the pool heater was broken during our stay and my daughter was disappointed. Overall, we would return.

Very good experience at this hotel. Clean and spacious rooms with sufficient storage options. Bathrooms were very spacious too with both tub and showers. Great breakfast options. Electric car chargers in the parking lot. Pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub were fun too. They also give you evening drinks and small snacks, which is a nice touch. Very good location - walkable from Macy's if you like shopping. Beautiful paintings and decor throughout. Elevators have good speed. Loved the extra long couch in the room. Overall great stay!

Oxford suites has wonderful amenities. Hot tub, pool, sauna. There is a steam room, although it is not hot. Breakfast was decent though the hot bar was not fresh. My biggest complaint is that my room smelled of pet urine. I pointed this out to the staff, and they suggested that I open a window, though my window open directly onto a walkway accessible by anyone and not in a great area. They weren’t extremely busy, so there was no reason why they could not have moved us to another room. It majorly affected my sleep and enjoyment of the overall experience, which was especially disappointing since my son was with me, and I had been hoping for some perfect hangout time.

I love staying here. I love the dinner and drink and the breakfast. I love the rooms wiyh the tub and shower. But the tv channels werent working. And the housekeeping needs to step it up. The room wasmt even thoroughly checked. There was no shower gel in the shower thing and there was trash from.the last person under the bed. Also there was hair in the tub and sticky stains around the tub where I was trying to set my candles.

The room was spacious for my wife and our 1 year old. The bed, linens, and other furniture were very comfortable. The blackout shades were very helpful for nap time and that late evening sun. The property is a little dated, but you can tell the staff takes pride in keeping it well maintained. The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that our floors were a bit dirty, most guests might not notice, but when your 1 year old is crawling around a room you tend to notice if his hands get dirty.

This hotel and its staff are very inviting. I was greeted immediately and checked in by a helpful and courteous young lady. Breakfast was quite good (some fresh offerings like French toast and omelets); and the dining area comfortable. My 6th floor room was quiet amd had a lovely view of trees outside. My only negative is because of a very strong cologne-type smell in my room. Upon opening the door, I immediately smelled it. Figuring it was cleaning products, i left my window open for several hours while I went to dinner etc. That helped, but during the night, it became apparent that the smell persisted. I only stayed one night, so changing rooms at that point not an option. I was assured that only unscented laundry soap is used, and no plug-ins ever used. Perhaps something in the vents? It seemed worse in the bathroom. I never did hear what was discovered. I would stay here again...but only if that smell was not present.

We have stayed in this hotel before this time and have always thought everything was great, this time we found the beds in our room were very hard we all woke up very sore and didn't sleep very well. We were in room 318 the room was very nice but the beds we had were very hard. You might want to check and see if you can change the mattress it might be better to sleep on.

Great overall experience. Staff was friendly. Food quality was good. Toilet was in a separate room within bathroom (with fan) which was nice. Caveat: walls are thin so would request end room if you are sensitive to noise. That said, will look for these properties in future based on our stay👍

We had to find a hotel fast as we couldn’t make it home from our Thanksgiving travel due to car trouble. This is more than a 3 star hotel. I am picky & was pleasantly impressed. The front desk was very welcoming. We started off with a free cocktail. The rooms were very large with both a tub & great shower. Bed was very comfortable & the room was spotless. Lots of tv options & the breakfast was outstanding. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, French toast, etc. Never had this caliber of breakfast at a 3 star hotel. The location is awesome. Lots of nearby restaurants & right by the mall. We will definitely stay at Oxford again.

Modern clean hotel with nice decor, located close to Bellis Fair mall. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast had good selection, and the complimentary beverage and snack in the evening was a nice touch! We found it to be a very noisy hotel however. From the traffic outside our window, to the constant stomping footsteps above us, to the tv in the room next door (separated only by a lock-off door between the walls), to the people talking in the hallway at 3am… we didn’t get much sleep. The queen beds also felt more like doubles, but perhaps I’m mistaken. Beds were comfy, pillows too firm.

If I had received the number of emails from an actual person like I received from this hotel, prior to my arrival at the property, I would strongly believe I was being stalked. I was asked to pre-check-in the day before my reservation. On the day of my reservation I was once again asked to pre-check-in a second time. Upon arrival at the property front desk, I was once again processed with a check-in procedure. Didn't I already do this twice before I got there? I had previously been asked to tell the hotel my arrival time earlier on the day of arrival. I gave them a clear idea about my arrival time. Yet, when I arrived, mysteriously the room was not ready even though I had specifically mentioned my arrival time. We waited while they completed their job of getting the room ready, which should have been done well in advance of our schedule arrival time! I abhor waiting. While the front desk clerk apologized and offered a voucher for a free appetizer or a free dessert, it had to be used that evening or the voucher would expire. It seems they have very limited staff to maintain a property that is clean and decent enough, except for the worn out chairs in front of the fireplace. 1. Room was not ready on time. 2. Only one person to assist with check-in during the busy period. 3. Rules and procedures are not customer friendly to encourage repeat business. 4. Way too many contacts before check-in. Once is sufficient. Might have to reconsider before booking in the future.

Staff was very helpful and friendly except when I wanted to check out and no one was at the counter. I had to wait quite a while until a manager type came by and took my key card and dismissed me by saying they would sent a receipt which I haven't received. Shower head in my room was worn out some of the rubber nozzles were missing. Also on my last night the ice machine on my floor wasn't working when I got back to my room around 10pm.

This was my thrid stay, and it was the second time that I asked for cleaning of the room the day before, and it wasn't cleaned when i was out for the day. But the manager (Lily) was very helpful and calmed me down. Didn't understand why this happened to me twice. No communication between housekeeping staff and front desk? Otherwise, I had a great stay.

Great value! Comfortable beds, helpful staff, nice little restaurant and bar. Welcome drink included. Perfect place to for a restful stay. Not a ton to do in that part of Bellingham other than shopping (Bellis Fair Mall) but it’s also close to airport. Definitely would recommend it.

Great, comfortable, and centrally located stay! Entire hotel was clean and seemed somewhat recently remodeled. They offered a nightly free drink from 5-7:30 PM for their Oxford Social, and their hot breakfast buffet was better than most. The elevator was a bit of a bottleneck during our stay, but we really enjoyed our stay here and even got to use the steam and sauna room. Would gladly return, and recommend to anyone who's traveling to Bellingham!

This was our second stay at this property. We were really excited because the first time was great, this time was just meh. The rooms are comfortable and they come with a large bathrobe and separate shower. The staff is great with the exception of them holding the elevator door open in front of you while chatting about linens and don’t acknowledge that you are waiting to get on the elevator and are using a mobility device. Standing is hard for me, I’m young but disabled. Everyone else was super great. The breakfast this time was horrible. It was actually the conversation at multiple tables at the same time. Please start actually cooking the potatoes fully. They were pale and slightly crunch in the center. Odd for what seem to be packaged potatoes. Maybe invest in a waffle machine or something. At over $300 for a weekend room, you need to up the breakfast game. Sausage links have hard gristle. There was a cook from a different Oxford Inn filling in. We ended up going out for breakfast for the rest our our two potential breakfast we could have had at the property. We ended up skipping social hour as well. It was a bagged salad with premade veggies. Last time it was marvelous tortilla soup and cute little fixings. Oof. It really made us not wanna hangout for those things we rebooked this property to enjoy. I have lots of more trips up to Bellingham over the next four years. Sadly, the awful breakfast is the reason I won’t be rebooking. Sounded like I was the only one either.
