I love Fairfield hotels but not this one. I normal do not leave reviews but thought this one I should. Front doors were locked at 9:30PM and had to wait for front desk lady to allow me in. Airport shuttle offered but was told it would not be operator if till 4:45AM which not advertised on website. I was told by front desk that maybe I could reach out to someone I knew for a lift to airport. Shuttle service was the reason I booked at this location. AC is room was super loud if you turned it on, weather in Tampa AC is a requirement. I would not stay again.

We could get the airport shuttle. Since our flight left around 8:30 and the hotel shuttle only starts at 9:00 pm . On website they don’t mentioned the time. 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We had to make arrangements on way out .

The property itself was very nice...clean and convenient to stay overnight and close to airport before flying home. We booked this hotel for the price and free airport shuttle. However when we checked in on Friday night we were told the shuttle did not run on the weekends and we would have to arrange for a cab ($20) to the airport. Whoever heard of a shuttle not running on weekends? I’m sure we are not the only people needing to get to the airport on Saturday! Expedia needs to update this on their site.

Hotel comfort, cleanliness, appearance, breakfast and front desk service all very good. Not so good: Airport shuttle only available Mon through Fri 9 am to 5 pm. Not convenient at all for a Sunday arrival and a Tues 6 am departure. Added Uber expenses that weren't anticipated in hotel room cost selection.

The morning of our departure, there was a cockroach in the bed sheets. We managed to chase it and stepped on it... We were very upset, screaming.. I mentioned it to the staff member while checking out and she said that their manager was suppose to get in contact with you to see what could be done for us,, we were mortified, never seen a bug like that before... We booked 2 rooms. Both bathrooms had hair on the floors, toilets and around the shower area. One room smelled strongly of body odor. The breakfast bar was very limited in offerings and was poorly stocked. The hotel is close to Raymond James and has many restaurants near by.

The bed-cover was nice and neat, but when we pulled back the cover the dirt on the sheets made it clear this bed sheet had not been cleaned. The manager refused to meet with us regarding this issue. The desk clerk reported that we cannot get any sort of reimbursement because we booked through Hotels.com

The room we were given was beside a room with mechanical equipment and there was a constant noise and vibration the whole time. The hotel said they did not have another room to give us. That room should not be used for a guest suite. It was an accessible which we did not need but even if we were in need of that type people can use accessible washrooms but they are not deaf.

Everything was just average. We were there just for a night so sucked it up. The toilet had a really bad smell, exhaust didn't do much and later realized smell was coming from drains in sink and toilet whenever water went thru them. Then breakfast was very mediocre. Eggs tasted plasticy and bread didn't look fresh as well. Coffee was non existent when we arrived and it took them a good 15-20 min.to get more, there was a line of people waiting for it by that time. Rooms were clean but much smaller than expected.

I was greeted warmly and checked efficiently by Leah who made sure to tell me she was putting me into a newly renovated room. Spacious, clean and comfortable!! Plenty of food and shopping nearby. This is my base when flying TPA Airport.

The staff was great I only stayed overnight but the front desk manager was very respectful professional and greeted me with enthusiasm. In the morning I saw him too on my departure and even though it was the graveyard shift he still had a smile, remembered my name and was courteous. That is the type of people you always want to deal with! Thanks!!!

I’ve never experienced ruder Staff. Maria at the desk was downright rude the entire trip. After issues at check-in, I asked for the GM to reach out to discuss. Never happened. We asked for the room to be cleaned and were told it would be done “Absolutely”. Had to beg to have it done 6 hours later. Breakfast was cold and hard, staff were always hiding in the back, and the grounds were littered with trash/cigarette butts. Do not stay here.

First of all bed are extremely flimsy. Lowest level of quality and comfort causing us lower back pain. Staff very rude and uncooperative. We requested couple extra pillows and they were denied to us and when we requested extra hands towels they questioned why and what for. When we requested to cancel our stay she denied to cancel and they charged us parking which we were not even there. We will never recommend anyone to stay in Fairfield.

Was generally good. Staff friendly. Was told we would have maid service one night of our three night stay, but it did not occur. Ran out of clean towels. Door to room was not properly fit to frame so created a very loud screech every time we opened it.
