Great breakfast with a large variety of food and beverage items. The hotel is located on The Strip in Pittsburgh. We didn't drive the entire 5 days we were there. A variety of shops, restaurants, and things to do on the strip. The hotel has a nice indoor pool, exercise room, and outdoor patio. Every staff person we met was helpful and kind.

The only downside is they think it’s ok to charge 25$ per day for parking but not guarantee a spot for you in the parking garage, and then tell you to park in a parking lot next to the hotel that offers $20 per day parking . So why am I paying extra?

The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. We stayed for a weekend in July when it was 90-80° everyday. The venue was nice, updated, comfortable beds, clean, and staff were nice. However, the rooftop patio was full of smokers, hot, no view of anything, and was unkept. The breakfast was simple, sufficient, but everything was served on paper plates with plastic silverware. The bar was only open 1 of the two nights we stayed (Friday, not Saturday) and there was no official bartender, only the front desk staff who seemed unfamiliar. The indoor pool was very, very cold approximately 70ish degrees, too cold for my 2 kids to want to get in, and murky water. The next day, the pool was closed the rest of the weekend. A neighboring hotel pool was offered as a consolation but we weren’t interested in relocating. The stocked front desk “market” was a nice touch and breakfast had good offerings, better than most, but nothing great. We did like our room, the 2 bedroom suite, so we’d stay here again for that reason alone. The AC worked well, pillows were awesome, we had enough blankets, beds were comfy, and showers had good water pressure.

We were extremely impressed with our stay at Homewood Suites, from the check-in staff to the large room, all the amenities were great. Pool table and lots of room to relax in the lobby area were a plus as well, pool, gym...everything! Highly recommend

The hotel was nice and clean. The room was nice and good shower. 1. We didn't know where to go when arrived; not aware we could have parked out front so to run in to register. We found parking garage and parked there first, then went in and lady said, oh, you already parked??? 2. No valet! We had to get cart and go back to garage to unload. 3. Unaware we had to pay to park at the hotel that we paid to stay at. 4. No one available to change out bedding or clean the room or take garbage out during the entire stay. No dish soap in kitchen. The body wash/hair conditioner dispensers were empty. No tissues in bathroom. 5. The bar was closed on Sunday and Monday! I will not be coming back to this hotel for the price we paid and had no service. All front desk staff was pleasant and helpful EXCEPT for the one that checked us in. Not personable at all!!

Its a good spot to walk around Pittsburgh. 25 minutes from PNC Park walking. Plenty of restaurants. Near the market place. Do not pay for parking. They use the same lot that you can pay $10 day and $20 overnight. Hilton will charge $26.

Exceptional hotel with a fantastic location! Parking is tight in the garage - so be sure to research some options if you are coming with a car. Great bars and restaurants nearby. One of the best neighborhoods you can find!

What a lovely property and the strip district is amazing to be able to access on foot! So many food options, walking along the river and entertainment. The hotel bar was having a good time Friday and Saturday night too. One of the best properties I’ve stayed at in awhile!

You could relax right there. Lounge in the evenings with pool table & shuffle board available. Outside rooftop patio with furniture & grills to enjoy. A pool to swim in. Snacks & drinks always available. Walk to Strip District for shopping, foods & fun! Close enough that we walked to PNC Park & Heinz Field. Staff very nice. Only thing was garbage was left in receptacles from night before the whole next day & when I asked for towels in the pool because there were only 2 for our group of 6 and they were never brought. Otherwise, I will definitely go back to stay there again!

The staff was awesome. We had booked 2 nights separately and they changed the reservations quickly so that we didn't have to change rooms. The couch/pillows in room were stained and carpet needs replacing. Otherwise, no complaints, nice atmosphere and decor. We enjoyed our weekend stay!

Shame on Hilton! Severely understaffed, though the existing staff did everything they could do to accommodate us. Our first room was dirty and the mattress on the sofa bed had mold! Our room was immediately changed, however, our room was never cleaned the days we stayed there and we had to go to the front desk to get new towels and sheets The property is in a great location but it needs a major deep cleaning. Vents were dirty, tile in shower getting moldy and I questioned how clean the linens were.

The cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. There was hairs on the shelves in the shower when I arrived. One of the lamp shades was very stained. The glass part of the shower had what i hoped was conditoner on is that was dried and crusted on it. There was also a possible blood stain by the full lenght mirror by the entrance to the room. There was also something dried and crusted on the curtains too. My room number was 613.

Very dirty. It’s the housekeeping that’s not doing their job. There was dust and mess under the pullout couch which means they don’t vacuum or clean at all. We even found someone’s underwear under the couch. Pullout bed sheets were not changed. It has dirt and seeds on it. We told the front desk but they didn’t have the cleaning staff available because it was late. So the front desk gentleman had to remove the underwear for us himself and gave us few extra sheets. He offered us another room but I had to check the beds before we move in and it wasn’t clean again. So we stayed in our room with few extra sheets. Hotel seemed to be clean and staff were nice but the rooms were just not clean at all. Very disappointing.

Overall the place appeared clean, nicely set up, and in a great location. Our room that we booked however was downgraded from a King Suite to Double Queen suite. The clerk at the desk told us there wasn’t a King available and said Expedia and the fine print was the issue. He said if there was a king available, he would have given it to us. This was a lie as my husband and I both searched online and plenty of king rooms were available for the exact dates we requested. There was also a super bad odor in our room the entire time. It was noticeable in the hallways, but it was terrible in our room. We didn’t spend much time there, so we didn’t make it a big deal, but it very noticeable. The breakfast was okay. We have never had issues when booking with Expedia before, so this was a first in our experience not being great.

The hotel was in a nice location. It was very difficult to sleep. I was woke up at 5 am both mornings. I could hear the people in the upstairs room walking around non stop. I also could hear the toilet flush every time in the upstairs floor. The ceiling is paper thin. Did notify the desk after the first night but was told the guests from the first night had checked out. Had that exact same issue the 2nd night. If I ever returned to this hotel I would have to be on the top floor.

Didn't like: the beautiful shower has no door so the bathroom floor got wet and water collected beyond the door, all the way into the closet. Luckily, we hadn't put anything on the closet floor. Also, housekeeping never came once. We were there 4 days. No toilet paper, clean towels, or taking out the trash for 4 days. Lastly, the coffee at breakfast was really awful. And I'm not a coffee snob - Perts, Starbucks, Folgers, Maxwell House whatever is good for me. But whatever they had was consistently bad. I did like the front desk staff. And aside from the coffee, breakfast was pretty good - fresh fruit (whole apples, oranges, bananas), muffins, bagels (with cream cheese), two kinds of juices, prepared oatmeal, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, cereal. The tables were wiped as soon as someone left so they were always clean.

Here's the good parts: The location was great, the staff was friendly, breakfast was pretty good, and the bed was comfortable. It was also fairly quiet, even with the Fire Department located directly behind the hotel. I loved having a separate bedroom and the full kitchen was very convenient. The not so great? I didn't know we were going to be charged for parking so that was a surprise. The tub doesn't have a drain cover so my young son couldn't bathe for the entire three day/two night stay. The furniture was old and very worn in, and the pillows were absolutely flat as could be. We asked for more pillows because we needed three pillows each just to have a "normal" size pillow. The desk chair didn't work (couldn't move it well) and there was only one dining room chair so eating meals together was challenging. All in all, the hotel was okay, but for the nearly $600 for two nights that I paid, I wouldn't stay here again. My son, however, LOVED this hotel because he said it was like a little apartment...lol.

We had a problem with that faucet in the bathroom area. It was very noisy. I told the staff about it and they did nothing. The pillows were extremely flat. There was almost no cushion in them. There’s a peloton in the room, but our room didn’t even receive complementary bottles of water with requesting them that doesn’t make sense to you. The water pressure in the shower was very very weak and the glass door in the shower isn’t long enough to keep water from hitting the floor when you take a shower. The staff is nice enough. With the exception of the person that I asked for water she just was a bit rude. This is the worst Homewood Suites I have ever stayed in. It was very disappointing.

Staff was very friendly and gave awesome insight on the city of tourist places to visit as it was our first time in the area. Some of the best service I’ve received, over and above service. Collette helped make our trip a great time! The property is a mile from the Strip and we also enjoyed our hotel room. I’d definitely stay here again.

Convenient for ballpark- 25 minute walk- not much around hotel. Self parking in garage indoor or outside next door if full $26 a night. Breakfast not great- 2 mornings same things - scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and bagels, cereal oatmeal. No waffles or pancakes. Wouldn’t have wanted another breakfast there. Clean- rooms new- no noise issues - in lobby - pool table and shuffleboard- outdoor deck. Decent size indoor pool open till 10 which is nice. The puttery across the street is fun unlimited mini golf $20 pp and food and drinks there - open late.

Clean hotel, close to venue & other visitors things to do & see. Breakfast buffet was alright. Eggs were somewhat warm, potato wedges were cold & had no taste. Need to have a better way to keep food warm besides the cover keeping some heat in.

The number one thing we liked about staying here was the friendly and helpful staff. Also, the rooms were spacious, having a fridge was helpful as we were bringing some food to an event in Pittsburgh and needed to keep it cool. The location was great. The complimentary breakfast was very good, too. Highly recommend.
