The pools were spectacular. The whole family enjoyed the variety of the indoor and outdoor experience. We happily lost two days playing, eating and drinking by the pool and look forward to doing it again.

Stayed for 2 nights with kids, memorial day weekend. Pool bars were buzy to get lemonades and foid 1.5hrs wait time. But atmosphere and clean overall. We rented bicycles, ate great food, pool during the day, jacuzzi at night. It was a blast. Just what we needed before school year starts 🙌

Great place to get away and experience a unique get away. Pool area was awesome. Service at the pool added to such a fun environment. Live music every night, great food and drink options, and lodging was superb. Daily communication was very nice as well! Highly recommend this place for a couples get away or family experience!

When booking make sure you pick the River Lodge - a lot of the properties have similar names. I was so afraid it would be noisy but I’m convinced the people reporting noise were at a different location. I stayed at the River Lodge on a busy weekend in August and it was super quiet & tranquil. On Friday night I did hear some music coming from the nearby Mt Bachelor lawn but it was done by 10pm (& luckily I actually liked their playlist so it worked out). The amenities were lovely - robe, slippers, bath salts, microwave & mini fridge for my cocktails, special hot tub just for River Lodge guests…the fitness center was less modern and smaller than I expected BUT has full indoor courts if you like that, and plenty of running/cycling trails. I didn’t try the hotel food or pool, but enjoyed the view of the golf course from my private deck. Bed was comfortable, the bathtub was deep & roomy, and shower had great water pressure! Cute nespresso machine made excellent coffee & the concierge kept me fully stocked. Highly recommend!

It was okay. Not for Onewheels. Pros: - The two queen suite was really spacious and suited our family of five well. - We loved the porch and large lawn area directly out our back door. - The nature center and observatory were really cool and good for young kids. - The trail system was amazing while riding around in blissful ignorance with my family. - Access to the Cove included with the room (2 pools, 2 waterslides, 2 hot tubs, bar & food service) Cons: - Some basic cleanliness issues on check-in (floor needed vacuuming, dirt on the hideabed mattress cover, leftover food residue on the kitchen counter) - Upstairs bathroom door would not close/lock - $40 for 90 minutes on a pickleball court (!!!) ... needless to say we passed. - Their policy regarding people transport was rather vague and not broadcasted well at all beforehand. A bit more on this... I had seen plenty of electrified scooters, eBikes, and even a couple other Onewheels riding on the trail, but started getting comments like: "You're not supposed to have those." "That's a $500 fine!" so I wanted to figure out the official policy. I asked the front desk and THEY asked the back desk. :) The answer on the official policy is that pedal-assisted and electrified is okay, but just electrified is not. To be a good example for the kids, I stayed off the board. What they told me in person did not line up with what I eventually found on their website, which to be fair, I'm having trouble finding again for this review! :D

We stayed in a “Lodge Room” (not AT the Lodge, so be careful when booking to clarify if you want to stay IN the lodge). The Keurig was broken the first morning, so that was a bummer—Rude Front Desk girl told us to “buy a coffee and charge it to the room”, so she could comp rather than just allow use of the Keurig there. Coffee Shop was still closed at 7am, so…It ended up being a bigger deal than it needed to be. We were located across the parking lot from The Cove, which was EPIC!! We LOVED the amenities, including a water tube slide and grill with snacks and drinks. Everyone there was so professional and kind!

We really enjoyed our stay, and wish we would have booked more nights. First time at the resort, and it feels like a proper resort. It's expansive, lots of bike trails and activities. Great amenities such as a pool, gym, bike and kayak rental, etc. Even a lot of stuff to do for the kids with minigolf, bouncy castles, various rides, bumper cars, and so on. Most importantly very relaxing and peaceful! Food tastes good, but once in a blue moon there are minor problems with the order or service. I think they're a bit short staffed over there, but overall not a major issue.

Such a beautiful facility-immaculately clean, spacious, and surrounded by absolutely breathtaking natural scenery. The upstairs loft with two queen beds and a bathroom was perfect for our family of six. Downstairs offered even more convenience with another bathroom, a kitchenette, a dining table, and a couch with a pullout bed. We especially loved unwinding on the deck in the evening, relaxing in the rocking chairs. Highly recommend —especially for a longer stay if possible!

After visiting for the last two decades I can honestly say the current standards have fallen dramatically. Upon arrival we noticed our room required cleaning. We found hair in the bathroom, a pacifier under the TV console and a gap between the door and the jam wide enough that we could see out. We attempted to contact management and were promised a call back that never came. If they had responded to our concerns they would have been informed that a member of the staff was locking the hot tub area at 8 pm instead of the posted 10 pm. Because of this experience I CAN NOT recommend Sunriver Resort any longer.

We have stayed here numerous times. We always stay at the River Lodge. The rooms are very nice but getting tired with worn furniture and carpeting. Many spiders and Silverfish were staying with us too. Not a comfortable situation. It was brought to front desk attention. The Sun River was loaded with algae and mosquitoes. You could not sit on the patio comfortably. I'm allergic to mosquitoe bites. We were there 2 nights. Way overpriced. The grounds are well kept and a pleasure to walk.

Check in experience was terrible. We waited in our car with our stuff way beyond check in time. They stated there is no guarantee 4pm is the check in time and could go all the way out to 6pm. Never notified when room was ready via text as yet indicated. Had to check in at the front desk numerous times and by the fourth time just to find out our room had been ready. Just to find hairs in the toliet, smelled like dog pee and curtains broken.

We had an upstairs condo double room. The room was tiny, bathroom was so small, the sink was in the entryway. Old buildings, but nicely upgraded and bedding was comfortable. The pool was fun, but expect toddlers running around and the water to be murky. It was fun to rent bikes and cruise around the expansive property. But as a captive audience of Sunriver, expect to pay extra for everything and don’t be surprised when you spend $42 for two hot dogs at the Cove Poolside restaurant. Seriously, the most expensive hot dogs in the country!

The room was very small and there was only one chair that we could not move out of its cubby. There was a huge TV, but not much room to use. This was very expensive and not a great place to unwind.

Beautiful rustic style room with nice fireplace and large bathroom with separate shower and tub. Nice view of the golf course. I liked the easy check out where you can do it on your phone. So beautiful in Sun River!!!

Our room had a beautiful view and a small gas fireplace. We loved the room. Know that, somewhere in the fine print, it says the resort will charge a certain percentage as a resort fee. We were not aware of this. For 3 nights, that charge was close to $90 for our two bed room.

Nice property and suite but check-in was 1.5 later than posted on Expedia. According to property, Check-in is at 4 pm and not guaranteed until 6 pm. I didn’t like that they gave our room away and we had to change rooms twice and I didn’t like that when I booked a lane at the pool lap the attendant had to tell me to exit because she booked me at the wrong time. I also didn’t like that our key cards didn’t work at one point and someone had to bring us new ones. Other than that it was cool.

We stayed in a “Lodge Room” (not AT the Lodge, so be careful when booking to clarify if you want to stay IN the lodge). The Keurig was broken the first morning, so that was a bummer—Rude Front Desk girl told us to “buy a coffee and charge it to the room”, so she could comp rather than just allow use of the Keurig there. Coffee Shop was still closed at 7am, so…It ended up being a bigger deal than it needed to be. We were located across the parking lot from The Cove, which was EPIC!! We LOVED the amenities, including a water tube slide and grill with snacks and drinks. Everyone there was so professional and kind!

Check in experience was terrible. We waited in our car with our stuff way beyond check in time. They stated there is no guarantee 4pm is the check in time and could go all the way out to 6pm. Never notified when room was ready via text as yet indicated. Had to check in at the front desk numerous times and by the fourth time just to find out our room had been ready. Just to find hairs in the toliet, smelled like dog pee and curtains broken.

We arrived later than we expected on a cold rainy night. There was a friendly welcome from the staff, particularly from Daniel who checked us in and Dani and Myline in the restaurant. The room was cozy and clean and the furnishings and decor were fresh. There was a gas log fireplace in the room, an unexpected plus. We ate at the restaurant twice for breakfast and once at dinner, and though a bit pricey the food quality was excellent at every meal and quite delicious. It was too rainy while we were there to explore the expansive grounds but through the window we enjoyed watching a large herd of elk which were grazing in the meadow.

Stayed for 2 nights with kids, memorial day weekend. Pool bars were buzy to get lemonades and foid 1.5hrs wait time. But atmosphere and clean overall. We rented bicycles, ate great food, pool during the day, jacuzzi at night. It was a blast. Just what we needed before school year starts 🙌

Great place to get away and experience a unique get away. Pool area was awesome. Service at the pool added to such a fun environment. Live music every night, great food and drink options, and lodging was superb. Daily communication was very nice as well! Highly recommend this place for a couples get away or family experience!

We had an upstairs condo double room. The room was tiny, bathroom was so small, the sink was in the entryway. Old buildings, but nicely upgraded and bedding was comfortable. The pool was fun, but expect toddlers running around and the water to be murky. It was fun to rent bikes and cruise around the expansive property. But as a captive audience of Sunriver, expect to pay extra for everything and don’t be surprised when you spend $42 for two hot dogs at the Cove Poolside restaurant. Seriously, the most expensive hot dogs in the country!

We really enjoyed our stay, and wish we would have booked more nights. First time at the resort, and it feels like a proper resort. It's expansive, lots of bike trails and activities. Great amenities such as a pool, gym, bike and kayak rental, etc. Even a lot of stuff to do for the kids with minigolf, bouncy castles, various rides, bumper cars, and so on. Most importantly very relaxing and peaceful! Food tastes good, but once in a blue moon there are minor problems with the order or service. I think they're a bit short staffed over there, but overall not a major issue.
