Had a reservation for 4 people and were only given 2 towels, When we went to office to request more towels, the "back in 15 minutes" sign was up for a much longer than 15 minute period. Reserved an efficiency based on photos showing 2 beds, sofa and chair - room had no sofa. Freezer was warmer than the refrigerator which also was only slightly cooler than air conditioned room. Safe did not work, sliding glass door was difficult to open and only secured with a stick in track. Oven was small - had to cut a pizza in half to bake and only bottom rack cooked since racks were covered in foil for sanitation. Kitchen was stocked with 2 butter knives, 2 steak knives, 1 plastic cup, one small plate, one large plate and a few pots. Plus a kitchen towel and dish detergent. No forks or spoons, no oven mitt...Even difficult to unlock door with old style metal keys. This really reminded me of places on the HGTV series of motels needing rehabs, this was so in need of renovation or even tear down and rebuild. At least the air conditioner was cool, shower worked with hot water and tv was basic like motels in the 1990s. The included breakfast was limited to 1 per person cereal (or cereal bar or pop tart) and a milk or juice. Do not go by photos of the mini golf- just holes in a green rectangle probably built in the 60's. Even the gate from the beach didn't lock. The vents of the air conditioners were rusty and falling off the exterior walls. Laundry out of order. Will not return here

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and the view was perfect. Otherwise, literally everything was broken. The TV wouldn’t work for more than 5 minutes without asking to reconnect to WiFi. The door was so badly rusted you could see right under it. The beds were about as old as I am. The furniture was sticky and ripped and mismatched with only one patio chair. The Air Conditioner was stuck with the temperature set to “FO”. There was a hole in the ceiling in the shower. The sink was so badly calcified the water trickled down the back of the sink. The toilet worked fine but came with a plunger already next to it. There was no phone to call the front desk and only 2 available electric outlets to charge our 4 phones. I moved the broken dresser that smelled like mildew to get to one of them. The ceiling in the room was stained from leaks and whoever painted the room did not paint behind the pictures hanging on the walls. It was hot and humid and loud and none of us slept. Fortunately we were only there for the beach and it did not disappoint. If I booked a second night I would have absolutely gone elsewhere. This poor sweet little motel needs major fixing up. This room was not worth the $90 I spent on it. I would have gladly paid with a can of fresh paint and a can of Lysol. And they called this an upgrade!! I don’t want to know what the other rooms are like.

The deco era motel was nice looking but the place needs a major overhaul. Peeling/rusted exterior building,washer dryers,elevator and ice machine inoperable toilet would not shutoff. Everything was outdated/poor condition maintained. Patio door had to be lifted and shoved to open close. The main entry door was filthy, opened only with door knob key deadbolt inop. Nothing was in working order ice machine, laundry, elevator. Crumbs of food left on top of rusty fridge. Ceiling falling down, large drywall bubble on wall that appears to be full of water. Towel holder in bathroom only screwed in one side so hanging off wall. Door to unit rotting. Breakfast consisted of pre packaged muffins, pop tarts and a pre packaged orange juice. At least it was pre packaged or we would not have ante it. Only good thing was it was on beach.

Elevator does not work and looks like it hasn't in years. Thereis,mold growing on the walls inside the room. Sliding door in the room would not open because the frame is warped. This is the upgraded room with ocean view.

As with most experiences, there were both pros and cons to our stay. Based on the reviews we had read beforehand, we had adjusted our expectations and were primarily focused on finding a place right on the beach — which this property did offer. Unfortunately, it still managed to fall far short of even our lowered expectations. The hotel is extremely outdated. There was no ice maker available, the washers and dryers were out of order, and the elevator wasn’t working — which posed a real inconvenience. Our room itself was in poor condition. It was dingy and didn’t feel clean. The furniture was stained, smelled unpleasant, and to make matters worse, we found roaches during our stay. On a more positive note, the air conditioning worked very well, the refrigerator kept things ice cold, and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The recently renovated pool was also a small bright spot. That said, the overall condition of the property made for a very uncomfortable stay. I chose not to complain during our visit, as there wasn’t anything that could have been done to meaningfully improve the experience.

Pool area is perfect and direct access to beach is great! quiet old rundown motel.. definitly needs updating.. maurice is very friendly and helpful ... muffins, cereal and coffee for breakfast at 8am.. room with 2 queen beds and kitchen- stove w/oven.. fridge, microwave, pots, pans, utensils- shower water pressure was great! would we stay again? maybe..

Hotel was clean but very dated. Elevator didn't work, so had to use stairs for our third floor room. We both have prior knee injuries so it made the stay a bit uncomfortable. Parking is very limited, recommend a smaller vehicle.

This hotel unfortunately was very dilapidated and has not been maintained. There was peeling paint and mole on the walls. Furniture was damaged and dirty, bathroom was gross, dirty tub, resting, etc. It’s honestly shocking that they have people to stay there.

This place should be torn down. The rooms are filthy, outdated, bug ridden and uninhabitable. The elevator doesn’t work. I had to carry multiple bags up 3 flights of stairs. The bedding and furniture were old and stained like it was taken off a trash pile. The bathroom was so grimey to where I would be safer fully dressed using the shower. I had to have my room switched because the AC in the first one was not working. In the second room there was a sliding glass door that was difficult to open because it was raggedy and off track so I had to force it open in order to get on the balcony. The appliances were filthy to the point where I did not want to put any food anywhere near it. The straw that broke the camels back was when I pulled the blanket back, and there were bedbugs and ants running across the comforter and the sheets. I immediately went to the office to complain because I refuse to stay there. I would never recommend anyone stay here. I also will be discontinuing using hotels.com because they do not have any safeguards for customers in these situations. My Labor Day weekend was ruined. The only positive thing was the night janitor Johnny who tried his best to accommodate me. He was very nice and empathetic. When speaking to the front desk clerk named Lee the next morning about my refund, he was very rude and condescending like he was the one inconvenienced. Needless to say that I was denied a refund for this unpleasant and inconvenient experience. Very disappointed.

The front desk guy was super nice, speedy check in. We went to our room and immediately found German cockroaches in the kitchen area, coming out from the sink drain and behind the tile. Walking further into the room, I pulled back the comforter and noticed ants in the bed. The plaster on the ceiling above the bed looks to be falling. Holes in the walls. I didn’t expect much for $65 but I don’t expect bugs in any room I pay for. We were there for all of maybe 10 minutes before going back to the desk and checking out.

Dirty. Room smelled like cigarettes. Roaches in the bathroom, mold in certain areas. Breakfast was just snacks, not sure why they would advertise their snacks as breakfast. Elevator does not work. Doors do no feel like they secure the room, had to put a chair against the door. Had to ask for a new room because the first was horrid. No one at the front desk at night. Feels like there is mold all in the rooms everywhere. No carpet, this would normally not be an issue but when you are next to the beach, it’s nice to touch carpet instead of tile.

Very dirty. Poor condition. Toilet didn’t flush for 2 days. Only one desk person and the maintenance guy were helpful. Prior guest’s food wrappers on floor and balcony. $30 daily pet fee - notified at check in AFTER booking online. Lousy breakfast choices but the coffee was ok. Overall nasty and run down.

To Do: Fix the elevator. Not cool having to go up multiple flights of steps during a week long stay. Especially during check in/check out. Maintain the AC units. Had ours down to 65 just to moderate the room temp to approx 76-78. Pest control. We killed 5 roaches in our room the first 2 days. If you’re only a monthly service, might want to step that up to weekly. Room service should have been more than 2 nights of 5 that we were there. We had to put our bags of trash outside by the door in hopes it was a clue that we needed service & more trash bags. Nope. First 2 nights only. Doors entering rooms need replaced or shaved down due to the swelling caused by weather conditions. I bruised my hand by having to aggressively open and close the door. The price paid through a 3rd party matched the overall basic facility, however this was still a win because the room was spacious & had a kitchenette. Most rooms with the exception of the first floor have balconies & you still get a decent view of the ocean if you don’t mind it including the parking lot or other buildings. The location is close to a lot of businesses & has direct access to the beach. Updating the interior would be a bonus so the rooms don’t smell musty & mattresses/bedding could be more comfortable. The fridge was wobbly but clean as was the microwave. The bathroom was clean upon arrival also. The exterior could use a fresh coat of paint & the grounds could use more up-keeping like mowing by the pool area.

Doors entering rooms need replaced or shaved down due to the swelling caused by weather conditions. I bruised my hand by having to aggressively open and close the door. The price paid through a 3rd party matched the overall basic facility, however this was still a win because the room was spacious & had a kitchenette. Most rooms with the exception of the first floor have balconies & you still get a decent view of the ocean if you don’t mind it including the parking lot or other buildings. The location is close to a lot of businesses & has direct access to the beach. Updating the interior would be a bonus so the rooms don’t smell musty & mattresses/bedding could be more comfortable. The fridge was wobbly but clean as was the microwave. The bathroom was clean upon arrival also. The exterior could use a fresh coat of paint & the grounds could use more up-keeping like mowing by the pool area.

Elevators were broken. The room door and patio sliding door was nearly impossible to open. The ceiling fan was drooping and covered in dirt. Dirt on the floor- wore shoes the whole time. Paint peeling off the walls and bath tub. Front desk closes and locks their door after 8pm and wasn't there when we left at 745am. No phone in the room. Could be a beautiful hotel with renovations and cleaning. The best part was the ocean view.

Paid for balcony ocean view was unable to use the balcony the door was broken and when my husband went to open it the top half open and then slammed shut right on his shoulder causing him to dislocate his shoulder and the staff would not provide a refund or anything. It was a holiday of July and all the other hotels were booked so we were stuck. We had no choice but to stay and the bed was basically broken and caved in in the middle we had leave early and that’s when we had to rush to the hospital.

The view of the beach was pretty good, I didn't like that the balconies were so close together though. The room itself was not the greatest. The sliding door to the balcony was very hard to slide open and it didn't close all the way or lock properly so there was a stick in the track to keep it from being opened from the outside. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and there was a pink stain on the corner of one of them. The tv kept randomly turning off throughout the day and night for a good 2 or 3 minutes then would turn back on. The shower pressure was nice but the temperature wasn't consistent and the drainage was not good. There were a couple of tiles that had a piece broken and loose. Honestly there was rust everywhere. Even the front office outside looks like its falling apart. The pictures online made it look a lot nicer than it actually was. All in all it wasn't great. We probably won't be going back there.

Location: great - if you get the room that's at the very corner of the property you get a nice view of the beach. That's IT! that's the ONLY good thing about this place. Needs renovation very badly, the room I was in had appliances that didn't work and were in very poor condition. The rooms needed a coat of paint pretty bad and although it had a balcony, I couldn't access it because the door was disintegrating and could be opened, it didn't have a lock on it either. The frontdesk staff, Hanna and Jason were amazing. Jason went above and beyond to accommodate my needs as well as Hanna. They both have impeccable guest service experience and made our stay welcomed. My room was spacious and very clean. Nice 9ft pool and a makeshift grill. Will recommend.

This place should be torn down. The rooms are filthy, outdated, bug ridden and uninhabitable. The elevator doesn’t work. I had to carry multiple bags up 3 flights of stairs. The bedding and furniture were old and stained like it was taken off a trash pile. The bathroom was so grimey to where I would be safer fully dressed using the shower. I had to have my room switched because the AC in the first one was not working. In the second room there was a sliding glass door that was difficult to open because it was raggedy and off track so I had to force it open in order to get on the balcony. The appliances were filthy to the point where I did not want to put any food anywhere near it. The straw that broke the camels back was when I pulled the blanket back, and there were bedbugs and ants running across the comforter and the sheets. I immediately went to the office to complain because I refuse to stay there. I would never recommend anyone stay here. I also will be discontinuing using hotels.com because they do not have any safeguards for customers in these situations. My Labor Day weekend was ruined. The only positive thing was the night janitor Johnny who tried his best to accommodate me. He was very nice and empathetic. When speaking to the front desk clerk named Lee the next morning about my refund, he was very rude and condescending like he was the one inconvenienced. Needless to say that I was denied a refund for this unpleasant and inconvenient experience. Very disappointed.

The hotel looks like it needs to be remodeled. However it does have potential. The front entrance has major damage to the foyer. Looks like it could fall down at any moment. The room we had smelled horrible. The walls were dirty with holes in it. The couch looked like it was taken from the trash. It was horrible. But the check in person was very nice and hospitable. They need to fix things up better.

Amazing time as usual. Great staff and above and beyond with their small pet policy. Everyone really seem to enjoy our little puppy and you could tell the joy that it brought to all the kids in the area. Pool area is perfect and direct access to beach is great! quiet old rundown motel.. definitly needs updating.. maurice is very friendly and helpful ... muffins, cereal and coffee for breakfast at 8am.. room with 2 queen beds and kitchen- stove w/oven.. fridge, microwave, pots, pans, utensils- shower water pressure was great! would we stay again? maybe..

Run down and needs good update and cleaning. My husband could not sleep the night we stayed due to concerns of his truck being broken into. Seedy people around parking lot. As with most experiences, there were both pros and cons to our stay. Based on the reviews we had read beforehand, we had adjusted our expectations and were primarily focused on finding a place right on the beach — which this property did offer. Unfortunately, it still managed to fall far short of even our lowered expectations. The hotel is extremely outdated. There was no ice maker available, the washers and dryers were out of order, and the elevator wasn’t working — which posed a real inconvenience. Our room itself was in poor condition. It was dingy and didn’t feel clean. The furniture was stained, smelled unpleasant, and to make matters worse, we found roaches during our stay. On a more positive note, the air conditioning worked very well, the refrigerator kept things ice cold, and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The recently renovated pool was also a small bright spot. That said, the overall condition of the property made for a very uncomfortable stay. I chose not to complain during our visit, as there wasn’t anything that could have been done to meaningfully improve the experience.

The motel needs a lot of repairs and updates but our room was clean and we had easy access to the beach. Management does not enforce rules . We had our dog with us and always clean up after her but i know that not all of the guests did the same. On Friday night people wete partying and shooting fireworks around the pool at 2 in the morning. We checked out a day early and have no desire to stay there again.

Had a reservation for 4 people and were only given 2 towels, When we went to office to request more towels, the "back in 15 minutes" sign was up for a much longer than 15 minute period. Reserved an efficiency based on photos showing 2 beds, sofa and chair - room had no sofa. Freezer was warmer than the refrigerator which also was only slightly cooler than air conditioned room. Safe did not work, sliding glass door was difficult to open and only secured with a stick in track. Oven was small - had to cut a pizza in half to bake and only bottom rack cooked since racks were covered in foil for sanitation. Kitchen was stocked with 2 butter knives, 2 steak knives, 1 plastic cup, one small plate, one large plate and a few pots. Plus a kitchen towel and dish detergent. No forks or spoons, no oven mitt...Even difficult to unlock door with old style metal keys. This really reminded me of places on the HGTV series of motels needing rehabs, this was so in need of renovation or even tear down and rebuild. At least the air conditioner was cool, shower worked with hot water and tv was basic like motels in the 1990s. The included breakfast was limited to 1 per person cereal (or cereal bar or pop tart) and a milk or juice. Do not go by photos of the mini golf- just holes in a green rectangle probably built in the 60's. Even the gate from the beach didn't lock. The vents of the air conditioners were rusty and falling off the exterior walls. Laundry out of order. Will not return here

Our room was a great size for a family of four. The breakfast was nothing big. It was more like snacks. Milk, coffee, on the go bowl of cereal and Pop tarts. Also, even if you ask for non-smoking it's probably still going to have been a smoking room. We came out smelling like cigarettes. Even if you don't like cigarettes almost literally every one smokes cigarettes in Florida!

Air conditioner was not working even after someone came to check it. the room was so humid that the floor never dries. The owner should invest some money , and make sure that what offers is what people is going to get. The pool is good, and the beach area too. Also the breakfast was old cupcakes watery coffe and microwave oatmeal ☹️

Went here for a long weekend trip too celebrate my twenty first birthday got round trip flights and hotel for my girlfriend and I for $690 from Pittsburgh with seat and baggage included only had too worry about food and an Uber from the airport too the hotel. We had a wonderful time the Pool was newly remodeled and the private access too the beach is extremely convenient. Only 3 miles from the main pier and 15 minutes from the Daytona international speedway. No hidden charges or extra fees was offered room service and kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, plates cups, bowls, silverware and all appliances worked all thought they were very outdated. But everything was clean gave us complimentary shampoo and soaps and a bath bomb and had no issue giving you new towels also a laundry machine right on property for 1$. There front desk people were extremely nice. They let us check in 3 hours early with no extra fee and extended our check our form 11am too 5pm for only $30. It might not look like much compared too the other hotels along Daytona strip but it has all the same amenities other then a hot breakfast. But the complimentary breakfast was nice lots of cereal, pop tarts, muffins and other breakfast bars and pastries. Definitely an older hotel but all an all for the price it was an incredible stay and all though the shuffleboard and mini golf course had some flooded damage we were still able too used them and had no issues. Only thing I wish was that the pool was heated
Went here for a long weekend trip too celebrate my twenty first birthday got round trip flights and hotel for my girlfriend and I for $690 from Pittsburgh with seat and baggage included only had too worry about food and an Uber from the airport too the hotel. We had a wonderful time the Pool was newly remodeled and the private access too the beach is extremely convenient. Only 3 miles from the main pier and 15 minutes from the Daytona international speedway. No hidden charges or extra fees was offered room service and kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, plates cups, bowls, silverware and all appliances worked all thought they were very outdated. But everything was clean gave us complimentary shampoo and soaps and a bath bomb and had no issue giving you new towels also a laundry machine right on property for 1$. There front desk people were extremely nice. They let us check in 3 hours early with no extra fee and extended our check our form 11am too 5pm for only $30. Pool area is perfect and direct access to beach is great! quiet old rundown motel.. definitly needs updating.. maurice is very friendly and helpful ... muffins, cereal and coffee for breakfast at 8am.. room with 2 queen beds and kitchen- stove w/oven.. fridge, microwave, pots, pans, utensils- shower water pressure was great! would we stay again? maybe..

The hotel wasn't what it states. There is no pool or beach access. The rooms were molded and broken windows. Was told there was no continental breakfast served. We ended up not even staying. We had to go find another hotel after driving 17 hours.

Our first night roaches crawled on my boyfriend's shoulder and face. We got up the next morning they were crawling along kitchenette table. I took a shower they were crawling in the bathroom. We packed quickly so they wouldn't get into our luggage. Their was a very hard time getting ahold of the main office and no form of advertised breakfast.

Very dirty. Poor condition. Toilet didn’t flush for 2 days. Only one desk person and the maintenance guy were helpful. Prior guest’s food wrappers on floor and balcony. $30 daily pet fee - notified at check in AFTER booking online. Lousy breakfast choices but the coffee was ok. Overall nasty and run down.

This is a "on a budget" type place. That being said, we have stayed here so many times in the last 10 years I can't count. Mostly because it's not about spending your money on the room, it's about spending time with people you know and people you will meet. I also love the fact that this lil gem is one of the first motels in Daytona. It's not perfect, but what is?

This place should not be in business, it is inhabitable. The moment you walk in you can smell the mold. Ceilings cracked and falling apart with water damage. Looked like a dump, furniture dated, dusty with paint and ceiling pieces on it. Walls peeling pain. Doors did not close properly. Place also has residents living there. Very questionable all around. While waited for a refund people would check in and check right back out. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL TOGETHER! VERY TRAUMATIC FOR MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. HEALTH HAZZARD. MY ASTHMA TRIGGERED ALMOST INSTANTLY. HORRIBLE

Got to property at three ac would not cool the room. Was told they just turned it on. 5 hours later as we waited in our truck still AC never cooled the room. Blood on sheets in other family members room. Did not get to stay there. Neither of us we had to leave.
