No breakfast menu and very uncomfortable chairs to sit in. Bathroom a good size for a small motel room, but the vanity could have been bigger allowing extra space for toiletries. Driveway needed some repair, but otherwise the motel was reasonably quiet and an OK spot to pull into, along a small side road paralleled to the Pacific H'way, for a night's stay.

Beds were not comfortable. Place could do with a facelift, facilities seem overdone. Parking is tight for large vehicles. Outside light beams through bedrooms, can be annoying when you’re not a deep sleeper. Location is directly off the main highway, so it’s convenient for an over nighter but nothing more.

Property is in need of considerable upgrade. Facilities are dated. As with all motels generally, it is meant to be non smoking. In the room next door there was a heavy smoker with the smell penetrating our room. It is two level. The room above us was noisy only because of the structure. The guests were not a problem just that whenever they moved around, we could hear it below.

Only stayed one night but this older style motel had everything we needed....clean room, clean bathroon, comfortable bed, nice linen and towels, microwave fridge, etc, easy parking. Friendly manager. The only issue was the outside light coming through the bathroom window... a blind would fix this issue.

Owners were helpful advising where to park my car and trailer. Lucky there was only one of us with a trailer or otherwise the next would be out on the street. Bathroom is small. Everything else was Ok for an overnight stay. The price reflects the motel

This property needs a big makeover, lights not working, terrible smell coming from the drains. We were there for 4 nights with our young granddaughters, and our room wasn't cleaned, or towels changed in that time. Pool was dirty and the noise from the highway was unbearable at times. A lot of money needs to be spent on this property to bring it up to a suitable standard. The only good thing about it is that its close to the shops.

mould in the shower. shower base leaking water onto bathroom floor area. carpet stained near bed. cockroaches in the fridge, butter on plate in fridge had roach droppings on it the next morning. cockroach droppings on tray of glasses and cups on bench top. shower extractor fan covered in dust/fibers

This old style motel is very basic. On the plus side our room had new carpet, new bedding, a new bar fridge and modern style toilet. There was tea, coffee, milk portions and biscuits. Most importantly it was clean. What wasn’t so good was the small bedroom with little space around the very hard bed and large, mostly empty bathroom. Having a cupboard or bench in the empty space that I guess used to be a bath would have been a lot more convenient than balancing our toiletries on the shower chair. The hot water is not so hot. A picture on the wall, a plant, any decoration would have been an improvement on the bare decor and made the room seem more inviting. I was woken up twice during the night by the person staying in the room above me, by them just walking around so there’s not much soundproofing. Also room 11 is next to the stairs, and again I was woken up by people leaving via the stairs. For one night this motel is just ok - it’s as expected for the price.

Certainly did not like the room as it had no outside window. Felt very oppressive. Bathroom was huge but no where to put anything down except on the floor. Needs shelving especially near the basin.

Check in was quick and easy and operators accomodating when needed to upgrade to a bigger room. The room had an overpowering smell of bleach for the whole time we were there, the air con is on a hard timer so on hot nights, you’re woken up by being hot and sweaty as there are no accessible windows to open, the bunk beds were unstable and the linen was dirty and had visible bugs. We also had other guests attempting to open our door whilst staying. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Complete and utter rip off at $185 a night, shower leaks to the point the carpet in the lounge area gets wet, dangerous power board hanging mid air with air-conditioning and fridge plugged in while hanging over whoever sleeps on the fold out sofa bed (i was worried it was going to fall on my head during the night) reverse cycle air-conditioning rattles and shakes like a road train, skylight in the bathroom has been covered in and not finished (its mouldy) supposed to sleep 4 people but only 1 queen bed, supposed to be wheelchair accessible (no lift to get to the second storey) was meant to have a disabled grab rail next to the toilet i sure as hell couldnt find it, the relieving manager was so rude when i went to see them about having no hot water, i was close to telling him to get out of our room, the building is that old and run down it takes almost 15 minutes for the hot water to eventually come through, so dont get undressed for a shower until you have hot water otherwise you will freeze
