The hotel and staff were really nice, when we arrived there was no electricity in all of downtown. Next morning there was no hot water, all of these issues were not the hotels fault it was an issue in the city. It is a nice hotel very nice to stay if you plan to walk and explore. At night there is a lot of homeless people.

Hotel does not come with parking and you have to pay extra for valet, 220mxn per night. Valet is 24/7 so thats nice staff is always there to help.

Our stay was ok. I say "ok" because there was no parking only Valet and upon requesting our vehicle it takes about 30 min if not more to have your vehicle brought up. The staff was great, cleanliness was ok. The toilet paper in our bathroom looked like it had been dropped in toilet water as it was wrinkled and stained. They were quick to have it replaced. The cleanliness around the property was not great. Streets smell like urine and lots of homeless people on streets especially at night as well as liter. We had a great stay but we would probably look for a different location next time around.

My stayed at your property, where my experience was deeply unsatisfactory. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding multiple issues encountered during my stay, and to request a refund for the inconveniences experienced. Upon entering room 554, I was shocked to find roaches present, the television was non-functional despite attempts to use different power outlets, and there were visible stains in the shower. Furthermore, during my stay, I was informed by your front desk staff that the hotel’s system was down, preventing me from accessing my room without being escorted by security on each occasion. This caused significant disruption and inconvenience. Originally, my check-out date was scheduled for Saturday, December 7th. However, due to these numerous issues, I was left with no choice but to check out a day earlier, on Friday, December 6th. In light of the aforementioned issues, I respectfully request a full refund of my stay, as the conditions provided were not in accordance with the expectations set by Hilton DoubleTree at the time of booking. Additionally, I would appreciate a refund for the prepaid breakfast, which I was unable to fully utilize. I look forward to receiving a prompt response from both your corporate team and the local management to resolve this matter satisfactorily.

The bathroom smelled really bad every time you would turn on the water from the sink or shower.

Everything was good, only thing is that we had a view to the cathedral which was beautiful, but there was a religious event that lasted from 12am to 5 am plus there was another event following it that passed right by our window. Maybe if the hotel would have mentioned it would be happening I might have booked a different room. Overall, I would stay here again.

I did not like the fact that i paid for a city view and ended up getting a window with a view to a curtain !!! When I checked in hotel was booked and no other rooms were available. Very disappointed

The rooms were incredibly small for the price I paid. I had expected much more. We booked a queen bed and balcony view room, but the room didn’t match the picture at all.

The staff were warm and genuine. Each time we called the front desk from our room we were promptly greeted and addressed by our name. The hotel’s location was superb! The housekeeping was very much meticulous and always left the room as immaculate as it was on the first day of check in. Will definitely stay there again!

I was there for five days, and the place was perfect for me and for everything I had to do for the few days I was there. The staff was always really helpful with everything, and every time I needed help or had questions about transportation, they were on top of it. I recommend this location to everyone who wants to enjoy the city.

People in the front reception were incredibly rude. There was absolutely no sense of customer service or even politeness. My room card needed to be re-activated every day and every single time I received incredibly bad service. I am a paying customer and expected more especially from a double tree hotel. Very very very disappointed.

The good, the hotel is nice and located in zona centro which is very close to historical buildings. The restaurant on the 7th floor is good with great views. The bad, to many homeless around the hotel. I also had a bad experience with the lady that checked us in. I requested a suite with a view of the cathedral many times over the course of 3 weeks. They said it’s first come first served but would make a note of it. I called again when I arrived at the airport at noon, they said too early to check in, I don’t mind checking in at 4 I just wanted the view. I said what time can I come in so I can get my view, they said 4. I went exactly at 4 and was told there were no more rooms with that view so I got a room with a view of a side of a building. They said come back tomorrow and we’ll switch you if possible. Went back to check 4 times with the same lady so I didn’t have to repeat story to someone new, every time she said no. On the 5th time I went to a different lady and she changed my room in 5 minutes. Makes me think the first lady did not give me the room I wanted on purpose.

I asked for early check in the day o booked my vacation I called and was told yes no problem for a fee I said no problem please make a note of it so that everything goes through ok no worries. I called day before to confirm my early check in again no worries. The morning of our trip I called on our way to hotel not a problem it will be t ready got there no room they wanted us to upgrade so we can get in early! We had to pay 182.00 dollars to get a room we already had booked! I don’t think that was fair!

Great location, steps from subway, catedral, shopping!

The area was not so nice. Lots of homeless people sleeping outside in the evening was super sad to see al that, very dirty outside and parking was very odd on the way side of the building

This property is at the center of downtown. Everything is a couple of minutes walking distance. The staff here was amazing. The valet guys gave us tips to stay safe, but overall our experience here was great! Definitely coming back and recommending it to family and friends. Thank you!!!

Centro Historico is pretty cool to explore during the day. However, in the evening there is no police beyond the cathedral plaza and, once local business start closing, numerous homeless people start to set up their beds under the awnings along the street. Definitely would not walk their past 9 pm.

The location of this property is horrible. Very dirty, and a lot of homeless in the area. We felt unsafe, the are is simply the worse.

It is very hard to have transportation pick up and drop off. The streets are blocked on weekends. We had to walk 5 blocks to meet our ride with luggage. At night it is not good to be out after 9 pm. The area around the hotel is filled with people sleeping on the sidewalks and doing drugs.

Staff very polite, room was clean, but need to fix issues. Bathroom glass door didnt lock, shower door didn't close, toilet seat cover loose, make up mirror didn't work, nightstand missing a leveling leg. Restaurant breakfast buffet was excellent, view priceless. Over night went for coffee and a slice of pie, pie was a mandarin cheesecake it was great, but coffee wasn't $ 140 each coffee that's a no, wasn't good and didn't drink we did pay $506 including tip. Surrounded areas sidewalk and walls homeless, graffiti, and very bad smells.

Location was perfect and staff was great. Would definitely stay here again but possibly pass on the breakfast buffet. In my opinion overpriced and you can find better food options in the area for a better price.
