The location was great, but it did mean you could hear the noisy bars outside. There was a giant pillar in the middle of the room which made it feel a little claustrophobic. The advertised pool/sauna/hot tub is not actually in the building, it's apparently a 5min walk down the road (we didn't go) and you get a voucher to use. This was disappointing as these facilities were why we booked this place. Fine for a short, cheap stay, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The property is within walking distance to lots of restaurants and attractions. But no temp parking nearby to load/unload luggages. The parking reserved for us was in a poorly monitored/maintained garage. The way to the parking was very tricky. We drove around the block and inside the garage multiple times and finally found it. But we had to drive back and asked for a different parking space as there were broken glasses spreading all over. It seems they were aware of this problem. But not sure why they didn’t clean it up ahead of time or at least let us know so we could have switched parking right away.

This is the second time I’ve stayed a month at Sojourn Ghuznee. Very nice staff and property is in very good shape. Location is outstanding and puts you in the heart of the Wellington CBD. Free washer and dryer on every floor is great for long term stays like myself. Highly recommend and will return on next visit to Wellington.

This is a small cozy apartment hotel in central Wellington city. Check in easy with super friendly staff. I reserved a parking space in the building opposite, a little tricky to acess my spot but i waa givem a full wriien with instructions. My room was small ( as advertised) but perfect for one night while I went to a gig. Comfy bed, kitchenette with nespresso machine, fridge , microwave , dishdrawer etc. Good AC . Super clean ensuite bathroom. Walked down to Cuba St in 5min loads of restaurants and shops. Walked to my gig at Meow Nui in 10 min - perfect! There is a guest laundry Loved the Whittakers choc squares on my bed! Would definitely stay again!

If you're looking for a hotel with an onsite restaurant, this isn't the one. But if you want a good modern hotel with clean rooms in a reasonable location with reasonable prices, this is the one. I stayed in a Petite Double room which is actually pretty good size with more than enough space to move around and store my things - not Petite at all ! And due to my early flight, I arrived at the hotel around 8 am thinking that I was just going to drop off my bag for storage and come back in the afternoon to check-in, but without being asked somehow Tricia told me that I can check-in straight away as the room is available. Have you ever been allowed to have an early check-in from 8 am ?! Most hotels don't allow that, even if the room is available. Definitely on my recommended list. Great stuff Mike and team, you guys are onto a simple formula here - do the basics right !!

Great central base for a few days stay in Wellington, easy walking distance to many great restaurants, shops and Te Papa. Petite Queen studio had everything I needed and plenty of space for a solo traveller. My 8th floor room was quiet with a great view (once I figured out how to operate the window shade) although it was annoying that the aircon/heat seemed to be centraly controlled. Stay could have been improved by providing some info in the room on the hotel facilities and basic guidance on things like how to operate the AC and window shades (not obvious in either case!), and ensuring my room was ready at check-in time (I had to wait half an hour for housekeeping to be done and communication from the front desk staff in that time could have been better). But these were fairly minor annoyances and overall this was a good value for money stay in a great location.

Great location, super small room, but perfectly appointed. Was the size they advertised, bigger rooms are available. Couldn’t fault our stay. Parking expensive, same as most inner city apartments. Almost on Cuba St so amazing for food and entertainment.

My stay was good, the room was very clean and spacious with great amenities. The parking spaces were very small/awkward so maybe something to bare in mind for those with a larger car. Upon check out, nobody asked how my stay had been which I thought was poor communication from the staff.

Everything was great, clean, convenient, comfortable, the staff was very helpful. Tricia stood out and couldn’t be more helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. She even helped us take our luggage out to catch an Uber. Made sure we had a large spacious room.

Hotel centrally located although a busy nightlife behind so if this is an issue book a street facing room. Reception staff cannot be more helpful especially’Trish’ who went out of her way to sort a problem. All staff encountered were very pleasant and professional

The staff was so welcoming and so helpful. The room was clean and well equipped with small kitchen. The reception is maned full time which made u feel safe and able to ask questions. The Sojourn was walking distance to the main city so no need to use transport and if wanted to you catch a bus. Thank you to all the staff.

This hotel was in a fantastic location, situated seconds from Cuba Street and tons of restaurants. The room was modern and spotless and came with everything we needed (microwave, fridge, coffee, milk, etc.), and the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. There was parking directly across the street (tell them up front if you’ll need a spot). I’d stay here again and recommend it.

Lady in reception was very helpful and friendly when we arrived at the apartments. We stayed one night there and the bed was really comfortable and we slept well. We found that the new morning staff were not so helpful, they were pleasant. Only wished when we stayed there that we were provided with a map of the area's around the.apartments and a menu of a breakfast, as well as a tv guide.

Overall a comfortable stay. We had the tres petite double room so it was very small in size . we were expecting this and would recommend that it is best suited to a person travelling alone or a couple not spending much time in the room . Because of the small size there is very limited space to move around, limited storage and nowhere other than the bed to sit. The room was very clean and modern. Only real downside with the fit-out of the room was the semi see through blind in the bathroom ( only an issue at night). A couple of minor issues with housekeeping . We didn’t have a do not disturb sign so had housekeeping knock a couple of times to check that the room was able to be serviced . Not sure why we didn’t have one , other rooms may.
