Wonderful staff and a clean quiet property. Great view from the 14th floor View Bar and open air pool. The general manager has advised me (Feb. 2024) their web site will be updated to reflect that the Zafferano restaurant is closed and only opens for the hotel's great buffet breakfast (incl. in hotel rate.) Also the road access to the hotel is limited for the next 2 years due to a new subway line being constructed, although I don't think there will be any noticeable noise for hotel guests) but the sidewalk is open. Drivers/taxis need to approach from Av. Andres Bello. We hope other folks have as nice a stay as we had for our 5 nights at the hotel.

Great hotel in Providencia Area, which is clean and safe. Huge room with comfortable bed. Nice little pool area, with amazing views of cerro Sant Cristobal and snow covered Andean mountains. Minor negatives: When we tried the rooftop restaurant, they were out of half the options on the menu, so not great. Also grumpy husband complained about lukewarm tea water in the breakfast buffet! All in all would definitely come back.

Nice looking hotel. The reception are really nice. We were given room 401, view onto a building and like a generator. Fine for us as we were not spending much time at the hotel. Good transport options for exploring Santiago and the front desk were able to provide helpful directions. There are many positives but I was disappointed by the 24hr pool which isn’t heated. I would have liked to have an evening swim. Though there is a gym there wasn’t really a shower so not ideal if you go after check out.

Welcome from staff great, assisted with bags, early check in allowed. Good A/C, in room fridges, great view, safe which was handy. Excellt breakfast lots of choices and fresh. Rooftop bar is the best in town, amazing views snd giid vibes.

The rooms are okay but nothings special. The carpet in the room and hallways was not in very good condition. The shower needed to be recaulked. The springs in one of our beds made a lot of noise when the person moved. The view from the room was of an alley and unappealing. The service at dinner was horrible and the food was mediocre.

Property was very nice. Staff was very good. Unfortunately, our room (506) had a very musty, moldy odor to it. Also, it takes a long time for the water in the shower and the sink to get hot. Also, the coffee machine was not operating correctly on the second day of our stay and was not available on our 3rd and last day of our stay.

Mi experiencia no ha sido la mejor. El hotel tenía moqueta que olía mal,me tuvieron que cambiar de habitación. La limpieza no era muy buena y tenia detalles como que la puerta de la ducha no cerraba o la taza del vater estaba amarillenta. Un día a la cama le faltaba una sábana y esa misma noche a las 6 de la mañana alguien intento abrir mi habitación. Si se equivocaron, lo soñé o fue otra cosa nunca lo sabré porque nadie se comunicó conmigo para darme una respuesta a pesar de comentarlo en recepción dos veces. Creo que por el precio que tiene estas cosas deberían de cuidarlas

We enjoy our stay, and easy to walk with many options of restaurants. The only feedback is the bathroom, needs more attention on the shower, you can see mould between the tiles, other than that we are happy with everything else, friendly staff :)

Terrible stay. First of all, the air conditioning didn’t work, so my room was sweltering. Second, the plumbing in the bathroom obviously hasn’t been cleaned in ages. The smell from the pipe in the sink was so bad, it overpowered the senses even while in bed, far away from and outside the bathroom. The staff were as friendly as they could be, considering the circumstances.

We couldn’t have picked a better hotel than the Solace!!! Felipe and Kevin were at the front desk when we checked in.. Both of them were so helpful, and were amazingly accommodating! It was early morning.. They gave us our room and complimentary breakfast, which was totally unexpected! We hadn’t slept for well over 24 hours and just to get in a room to plug in our cell phones was greatly appreciated! After an entire day of touring Santiago with the guide, we came back to the room. It was a quiet and peaceful place to call home. We went to the rooftop bar for drinks and snacks, which was lovely. The servers there were also wonderful, especially Anderson. Nobody was swimming, but the pool looked really inviting. Breakfast had a lot of variety and there was availability of all the types of coffees and cappuccinos 24/7! There was ample water in the fridge in our room +2 cans of complementary sodas plus Lavazzo coffee plus the coffee machine in our room. We did not use it because there was ample coffee downstairs. Our room was spacious., quiet and the view was beautiful. I was sorry we couldn’t stay longer. However, we will return.

My stay was curiously inconsistent. Hotel itself was clean and modern, staff welcoming. Seems like they cater mainly to business travelers. Breakfast was great the first day, and then a little less so the next--as if I hit it right after the rush.The rooftop bar was fabulous--beautiful views, delicious drinks, friendly staff. My room on the 12th floor was also nice--great views, spacious. Not so great, however, being located on the floor below the rooftop terrace, and my room was situated right under the gym. Great amenity for travelers I know, but not great if someone is running on the treadmill at 11pm. Lots of potential gym noise if your room is at that end of the building. Also, I was impressed by the perk that they offer a free, small mini-bar during your stay, but apparently it was only for one day. I drank nearly all the water, and it was not replenished.

Pleasant staff member during check. Very friendly and helpful. The same for the staff on the roof terrace. A few things about the room though. The safe wasn’t working but a member of maintenance replaced promptly. The air conditoning is good but it’s a bit loud for at night time when trying to sleep. I’m retuning on Tuesday, 03 February for four nights and I’d prefer a room higher up if that’s possible please.

Hotel muito bonito e moderno, staff atencioso e gentil, café da manhã gostoso e com variedade. Quarto amplo e com linda vista, cama espaçosa e enxoval de qualidade. Um ponto alto da estadia foi a tabua + ferro de passar roupa no quarto, nos ajudou muito. Outro ponto alto foi o rooftop com piscina e linda vista. Nossa única queixa é que o ar condicionado era central e acabamos sentindo calor em alguns momentos.

Hotel moderno, muito bem localizado mas na minha opinião indevidamente superavaliado. No dia da chegada, mesmo após bastante tempo de iniciado o horário de check-in, o quarto não estava disponível. A iluminação no quarto é muito fraca. O café da manhã servido no hotel com boa variedade, mas o que chamou a atenção foi o café preparado pelo hotel para as pessoas que têm passeio muito cedo pela manhã e não conseguem tomá-lo no restaurante. MUITO FRACO !. Algumas barras de cereal, club social, suco em caixa e um bolo de laranja pequeno. Conversando com outros turistas que usufruiram deste mesmo tipo de café em outros hotéis, vimos que eles recebiam frutas, iogurtes até torradas com manteiga e geleia. Tudo isso em hotéis com diárias muito mais baratas. Enfim, pelos serviços recebidos, o valor da diária pareceu bastante elevado, não valendo a relação custo x benefício.

Check out policy is very poor! While the hotel was not fully booked, I requested a late checkout and I was willing to pay up 50% of for the late checkout but, front staff without speaking with me gave an ugly shake of his head and told the young lady attending my request a definitive NO. I reserved 4 single rooms and prepaid from 5, and 4 nights. The manager related to his staff they have no such policy! I had a 9pm flight and I had to leave the hotel at 2pm. Will not return to this hotel!

The staff was excellent, helping us check in early and with working with us to stay in our room for 1/2 day. So helpful! Breakfast staff and upstairs restaurant staff all did well. the room was very clean and we loved the location - great stay!

We arrived ar 11.15 pm and despite of previous email confirmation reminder and automatic survey for check in rating from Hotel.com, they couldn't find our booking. It took more than 20 mns to finally get⁰ keys but when we arrived at the room it was already occupied!! Coming down at the reception the receptionist first lpicked up his phone and wanted to "understand" why the room was occupied instead of finding us an other room...(by that time we had passed mighnight and simply wanted to finally get a room) When we finally could get in yhe room, it was smelling cigarettes but they never came to disinfect Too bad as it has all infrastructure to be a nice place ... It kept its promises you can read in yhe elevator "unforgettable"... indeed but not for the right reasons...

This hotel boasts a good location and very tidy rooms. I especially want to thank Leslie at the front desk-she took the initiative to provide me with travel information and was always ready to help whenever I needed assistance. Wonderful staff and a clean quiet property. Great view from the 14th floor View Bar and open air pool. The general manager has advised me (Feb. 2024) their web site will be updated to reflect that the Zafferano restaurant is closed and only opens for the hotel's great buffet breakfast (incl. in hotel rate.) Also the road access to the hotel is limited for the next 2 years due to a new subway line being constructed, although I don't think there will be any noticeable noise for hotel guests) but the sidewalk is open. Drivers/taxis need to approach from Av. Andres Bello. We hope other folks have as nice a stay as we had for our 5 nights at the hotel.

Excelente hotel. Cama boa, chuveiro bom, quarto amplo. Excelente distribuicao do espaco! Rooftop muito bom. Piscininha no final de um dia após tour no verao vale a estadia. Academia com uma vista encantandora. Restaurante e cafe da manha bons. No entanto esta tendo uma obra na rua do hotel que dificulta a chegada ao metro Pedro de Valdivia que foi incoveniente e dificulta a chegada de uber.

The hotel's location was better than I expected. It's down a quiet side street and the main street nearby has many cafes and restaurants. It's not real close to tourist attractions, but still walkable to many. The hotel itself had nice views, especially from higher floors (the rooftop pool). The rooftop restaurant had good food and drink. Breakfast was average (served in the lobby). Staff were pleasant and helpful. The gym was the only disappointment. It's also on the rooftop terrace in a glass box, which gets warm in the sun. The weights were limited and the one universal machine needs maintenance as the movement on it wasn't smooth (dirty/frayed cables, I think). I didn't use the two treadmills as there was dust (concrete?) all over them.

We spent 2 nights pre-cruise here at Solace Hotel. We arrived very early morning after an overnight plane trip and was given the option to pay a discounted rate to have access to our room and the breakfast buffet. This really helped us recharge after a meal and a short nap to enable us to take advantage of the first day in the great city. The room is well equipped with bottled water replenished daily in the refridgerator and the bed was very comfortable. The elevator worked well, getting us quickly to our 8th floor room. The only problem with the room was the shower floor was quite slippery so we ended up putting a towel inside the shower pan to prevent any slipping injuries. We loved this very modern hotel, especially the roof-top bar. It is on a quiet street that was walkable to the Cerro San Cristobal. All the front desk personnel were wonderful with great suggestions. The breakfast buffet was very good and tables were fairly plentiful and cleaned quickly. The even offered to make me one of the best Eggs Benedicts I have ever had! If we ever have to chance to be in Santiago again, we will definitely stay at Solace Hotel!

I stayed here for 26 days, so I feel pretty well qualified to review Solace Hotel. Overall, the experience was excellent. First, the location is unbeatable. It's about a 2 minute walk to the Valdivia Metro station and is in one of the best parts of Providencia, easily walkable to tons of restaurants and shops, and close to the river/bike path. It's a much more interesting part of town than the hotel district in Las Condes. Second, the staff are phenomenal--so helpful and kind. Third, the rooms are nice, with good fixtures and a great shower, although the carpet is a bit thin and the room a bit dark (they gave me an extra lamp). Fourth, the roof deck is stunning, with incredible views, although I couldn't use the pool as it was winter. Workout room up there is nice but could use an update. Finally, breakfast is very nicely done. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
