Location, location, location. We stayed here because many “tourist” activities were either within walking distance or a relatively short Uber ride away, and also a hot breakfast is included every morning (with very attentive staff: everything was always replenished immediately). The lobby has a ping-pong table, foosball table, a set of cornhole bags and a large connect four game. Hotel staff were always very nice. Only one star less because the rooms are slightly showing their age (torn leather high top chairs in rooms), but this didn’t affect us adversely. There is a little light on the headboard of each bed that is on the side which doesn’t have the main lamp, which was nice. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion dispensers are included, which was a nice touch. A couple of the containers were empty, but when we alerted the front desk, they were filled immediately - thank you! We would recommend this hotel to others. It’s in a great location and within walking distance to Little Italy, the USS Midway and the nautical museum. It’s also not far from Petco stadium and Balboa Park. It’s literally 2 miles away from the airport.

Our bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way and the sliding part broke twice. We also had no idea valet parking is not optional and is $55 per day. We were not prepared for that so please plan accordingly. Other than that it was a lovely stay. The restaurant was nice and had great food and great service. They had nice seating where you could sit by a beautiful fire. There were also yard games like fooseball, ping pong, oversized jenga, and oversized connect 4. We were not allowed a late check out either so we had to figure out something to do for 4 hours until we had to be at the airport. If you want a late check out ask early and not day of check out and it might be better.

Wonderful facility. Little Italy up the street and a nice view of the water close by. Breakfast included which was also a good perk. Place is also kid friendly they have a pool along with ping pong table and foosball table at the breakfast area. Only down part of the trip is parking is across the street so you are left ti decide to park yourself and walk to the hotel or you resort to using valet

Food stolen from staff from our fridge. Long wait time for elevator as one was down for majority of our stay. Wish onsite restaurant has more options on menu if you don’t feel like venturing out from a long day. Same with variation and stock at the little snack/convenience Station they had behind check in desk. Overall good otherwise.

Overall good. Just a couple things that could be improved: Air conditioner was so loud and there’s no way to reduce it. We were told that most rooms are like that so no point to change room. If you are concerned on this noise, this is not a place for you. It was very hard to stay in the seating area with the noise. We got the studio with 2 queen beds. If you stay in your bed area, noise is not too much but you can still hear it. Then, laundry situation: you need to install an app to pay for the washer dryer and we did not want to install an app as apps are typically collecting personal data. Breakfast is okay, but if you stay there more than 2 days, you will feel disgusted with the same breakfast every day. We stayed for 7 days and towards the 4th days, it was pretty much no appetite for the breakfast. It would have been better to alternate every other day different menu. 1 staff at the check in was not friendly when we asked where is the breakfast area.

The hotel is clean. Probably the best part of it was housekeeping were very friendly. Nothing special about this place. The pool is very small. The hot tub is not very hot and easily gets overcrowded. They do keep it cleaned up and fresh but a few people get in and out of the pool and the whole have becomes very slick. The breakfast is pretty good, there's a decent variety including breakfast tacos, chia, and non dairy options. The 60 dollar a night valet parking is not worth it. If you rent a car, park around the corner in a public lot and save at least half the money. Location is nice, close to the Midway. Laundry: watch your stuff lest you find it missing. Little Italy has a lot to eat but not a lot to do. Our room was spacious but they put us on the stairwell and all night long folks were running marathons up and down. Not recommended if you're a light or even anything but the deepest of sleepers. The Barbie restaurant is annoying. 60 more bucks to even get a ticket. No thank you.

Hot tub only worked once during our 5 day stay. Windows don't open. Kitchenette poorly equipped. But the location is great and quiet, if room is away from the train side. Hotel overall was clean and well kept. Pool seemed murky. Breakfast is adequate, no pancakes or waffles.

On arrival we were checked into room 660 where we had booked a king size room with pull out sofa bed. While in the room we noticed the doors for bathroom and closet were missing so privacy was not possible. The ac unit was making a loud grinding noise while blowing warm air. We also noticed that the privacy blinds on one side was missing. We contacted the front who sent maintenance for the issues. While we waited our son located womens eyelashes on the floor and not knowing what they were stuck them to his facr. The carpets were filthy and needed cleaning. Maintenance advised the doors were missing because they has been damaged from a previous guest and were on order so they did not have replacements. He attempted to fix the ac but it did not cool down. Housekeeping arrived with a vacuum and gave it to us so that we could clean the carpets ourseves. When I advised her we were bot cleaning the room ourselves after having paid 3500 for the week due to comicon she did it herself. I was now thinking this experience couldnt be real sp we asked for a change of rooms but were advised there were no other rooms available due to the hotel being sold out. The worst part was when we turned down the pull out sofa for our 7 year old to sleep on and discovered the mattress had a large stain of dried blood and urine that had soaked all the way the way to the metal frame below. Photos taken and management contacted. Do not book this hotel. It is a complete dump.

The Hotel was nice and clean. Beautiful location. Walking distance to harbor, little Italy and metro. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was clean, although carpet could use a wash, and bathroom could definitely use more places to hang wet towels, and shower head could be upgraded for better water conservation. Although location is very close to airport and metro, soundproof rooms are excellent, didn’t hear anything. The breakfast was excellent and the staff there were very helpful and kept everything clean. I do wish the $50 per night parking was made clearer.

I love this hotel. Usually I give all 5s but this time sadly, there was quite a bit of fresh mold in my shower. Ive stayed here multiple times and this is the first and I hope the only. Otherwise. Great place. Just wish the prices weren’t hiked because of events.

Mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, had to ask for more towels even though we booked a room for 5 people, noisy kids in the room above us, and missing chairs so 2 of us had to share an ottoman. We complained about all of these things but there were no other rooms available that would accommodate all of us. They did comp our parking fees but still a pretty bad experience.

There were nasty hair balls on the floor of our room when we checked in, spots and smudges all over the mirrors, the tv didn’t work and we complained and nothing was ever done and when we called about this, the front desk person was rude.

My sheets were not changed. There was a big booger on the flat sheet where someone’s head would be. I called the front desk and someone put me on hold for awhile and eventually hung up without ever trying to call back. Spoon in the kitchen drawer was dirty. Overall, the room is a bit musty and bathroom sink had a bad stench when turning on the faucet. Was expecting more. Location is good, very walkable to all the fun in little Italy. Hot breakfast included and is very good

Upon checking in the room was not as clean as it should be for guests. The mirror was smudged and dirty. I also found another persons colored hair in the tissue box. Don’t even get me started with the shower and toilet seat. The shower head had green molding and crust which is so unsanitary. Just like the toilet seat had black marks on it. Along with the hair we found on the floor the train passing by all night didn’t allow for any rest. The breakfast did have some options when we stopped by before checking out but not worth the hotel price per night. We booked for two nights and could not stay because of everything especially the noise.

We had an inside room with no view except of the other side of the building. Room was decent but dark because of the location. It was very clean though. That was the big plus. There are only about 10 parking spots that were always full so you are basically forced to spend $50 a day on valet.

The size of the suite was great. The location in Little Italy was amazing. The staff was wonderful. The furniture in the room was old. Plastic framing on the tv was falling off. The faux leather on the ottoman was flaking off. The address surrounding the pool has tile and is VERY slippery. Suggest your kids wear shoes. There was a Barbie cafe pop-up that took over their restaurant when we were there. We got sat at a table, no one came to take our order so we left. It was also extremely warm in there. I would have preferred to have been able to have cocktails and tapas at their regular restaurant.

Everything was great except for the train track directly outside of the window. I was woken up about 6 times throughout the night by train horns. If you stay here absolutely make sure that your room is not on the side of the hotel that runs parallel to the tracks.

This was a straight hotel. As a family of four staying more than two nights, we knew that we would need extra space, so a suite worked perfectly and gave us enough room so that we wouldn't feel like we were on top of one another. With all of that said, the WIFI was HORRIBLE. It LITERALLY was wifi in name only. The signal was poor and there was no getting a Zoom call done. So, if you need wifi during your trip, "know before you go," and give the hotel a call

Apart from being right by the bay , I don't recommend if you are tired from your trip to stay there, the walls and ceilings are super thin , you hear everything on the corridor, the people walking talking, banging on the walls , flushing toilets , shower , , etc ..on a top of that the train ..it was a nightmare , we didn't sleep all night , we had to leave and stay at another hotel for the next night. the property seems beautiful in the lobby but the breakfast area has flies , the watermelon they served was old , the coffee machines and cups are so dirty , Also something really bad about the hotel , they charge you $ 60 for the night , I forgot a detail , about the receptionists , they won't ask you how was your stay, In short it is not worth it at all , it gives a cheap motel vibes that wants to gain a Michelin star It doesn't deserve the Hilton name next to it ,

Room was big but a bit shabby. You must pay to valet, no self parking. There are many hotels nearer to restaurants, within walking distance to fun. This is one is on a busy corner with nothing but a gas station near by. No ocean view. It was clean. Breakfast was good. But I wouldn’t select this place again.

When we checked in, we were 20 minutes past check in time. When we got there, they told us it was about a 10 minute wait for a room to be ready as it was a bit behind for cleaning purposes. After about 25 minutes waiting to be called for our room to be ready I went to the front desk and asked if the room was ready yet and they said it would be another 10 minutes tops. After another 15 minutes of waiting, I went up to the front once again and asked if it was ready yet…it still was not ready. After a total of about an hour and 25 minutes of waiting, they finally got us into a room With great annoyance from the clerk.

Convenient location. The front desk staff when I arrived were unfriendly and not very helpful. My key didn't work when I got to my room and I had to go back through the maze of hallways, no one was at the desk, and finally someone returned to re scan my key. The night time staff were 1,000 better!

I've stayed at this property three other times, each time booking two rooms, but this was the worst experience thus far. I called ahead to request rooms on the same floor and was told it would happen. When I get to check-in, the rooms were on different floors and the elevators were chronically slow. I was then told I would get the $60 overnight parking refunded, but on check out I was charged anyway and had to return to the hotel to ask for the $60 credit again. Disappointed the service was not as prompt as I had experienced each of the other times I had stayed.

Staff at front desk generally unhelpful and does the bare minimum. Breakfast a bit crowded in the morning, but overall that staff handled the crowds well — it felt like a budget cruise boat buffet, but again, the dining staff were patient and did a noble job of clearing dirty plates and replenishing food trays. Room was dark, as we were situated in the back near the railroad tracks, which abut the back of the hotel. Overall area is decent, as it’s on the outskirts of Little Italy neighborhood, but the immediate area in front of and to the side of hotel are not the most picturesque, as it’s nestled between gas station / car wash, a self-storage facility, and a Boeing industrial-type office bldg.

Great place to stay downtown! Super nice, secure and clean. Very quiet even though there are train tracks along the back of the hotel where our room was located. I was very concerned at first until a metro train went by and it was virtually silent inside our room! We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel as well as not hesitate to stay here again.

First room smelled of a dead fish so had to switch. 2nd room had a broken closet door with carpet lifted up and piling from previous people forcing it open. Kitchen only has 2 pans if you are lucky and 2 sets of utensils. No basics are included to cook with. No oil, no salt, no pepper. Paper towels are supplied and 1 pod for the dishwasher the entire stay. Breakfast ends at 9am and you are not allowed to take it back to your room. There’s a lady in particular that watched like a hawk if you try to take anything back. Pool is not heated and is outdoors. There is nice a covered patio area by the pool. The bar and restaurant was closed our entire one week stay. They had a Barbie pop up in place of the bar/restaurant with inflated prices and limited hours. There are no bell boys to help with luggage or carts. People seem to take them and keep them in their rooms so you have to roam the halls to find if you are lucky. No self parking and valet is $60 a day. Wasn’t worth it for us, we won’t be back.

An average overpriced hotel with rude staff. They serve exactly same menu in the breakfast everyday and shutdown the shutters exactly at 9 am. They won’t even allow guests sitting in the restaurant. I stayed in a suite which was extremely congested with very limited cooking option and uncomfortable sofa bed. Valet parking is mandatory and chargeable but service was good.

We stayed here in Feb 2025. We enjoyed our stay here. Room was not very clean, thankfully I take my supplies to disinfect but left me feeling uncomfortable. The location makes it easy to get around since it is so close to the freeway. On the downside since it is centrally located it was often busy trying to get back to our hotel at night. The hotel is also super close to the airport so you do hear the planes taking off and landing, the only good thing is they usually stop before midnight. Staff was friendly but seemed confused by my questions when we first arrived and when I was trying to buy from their small shop. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with self serve sundries so wasn’t sure how it worked. Signs are kinda small so easy to miss. Breakfast was good, buffet style with some nice options. It’s always busy there but there is some additional outdoor seating, i appreciate they had the gas fire feature because it was chilly in the mornings. Staff in breakfast area was very nice and super accommodating.
