The room and staff were excellent! The exercise room and pool were great! The only negative thing I have is I saw a little trash on the outside of property on sidewalk and in tan bark that was there for the length of my stay of 2 days.

Very nice hotel. Room was spacious, clean, and very accommodating. Pool was great, hot tub would have made it perfect. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, and activities. Had to pay for parking on site which was fine, but would have been nice to know in advance.

This hotel was incredible! The price was great, and the amenities were awesome. Kids loved the indoor pool, and the walking distance to the shops and restaurants at The Legends makes it a no-brainer place to stay. Highly recommend it! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great breakfast.

STAY AWAY from this hotel is you have a large group. We stayed as this hotel with a group of teenagers for my daughter birthday. We wanted to be near the legends so they could all enjoy the shopping, eating, etc. we also planned this trip around the fact that this hotel has a pool, which would entertain the girls for a significant amount of time. When I arrived to check in, I was advised the pool was closed “for scheduled maintenance” which I was not advised of until my arrival- upon which time it was too late to book at the only other hotel within walking distance to the legends. Then promptly at 1005 pm I get a knock on my door warning me that the girls were being too loud. She said they had multiple complaints, which I don’t believe, as I hadn’t even seen any other guests on our floor the entire evening. After our experience, I read through previous reviews on multiple sites and found others have had similar experiences.

Pros - The room was comfortable and across the street from The Legend Mall. There were plenty of shops and restaurants to visit. Cons - Parking was $10 daily. We questioned whether this property was worth twice the cost of other nearby hotels with similar amenities.

Great area just across the street for shopping, eating and letting the kids run around and play. Not having free parking was a bit of a letdown. Never had to pay to park at a hotel I was staying at before but The Legends just across the street is awesome!

So impressed!! I am a true hotel snob! This property is very nice! We stayed in room 218, 1 King bed. It was like a small new modern apartment, full kitchen! Everything was very nice! Breakfast was nice too! The only complaint is the a/c vent blows directly on the bed. I mean directly like a whirl wind. But overall We would definitely stay here again!!

The Marriott is located adjacent to The Legends shopping area & close to Sporting KC arena & KS Speedway. The bed itself was uncomfortably hard, the room was clean but noise could be heard from rooms on either side. The morning breakfast good with multiple selects. The staff members were exceptional.

Room was spacious and clean Staff was uninformed and not well trained Couldn’t handle billing problems Dropped a high pet fee on me at arrival after booking with Expedia, hanging up on a Mexican off shore booking service that the clerk barely spoke English and didn’t understand what pet friendly was when asked. Called three hours before checking in to make sure room was pet friendly and was told yes and no mention of fee….and confirmed with Regina that we would be there late ROOM PAID IN FULL. Another layer of management excused the pet fee after much deliberation….. Everyone pointed out what “I” need to do different in the future? How about train your 3rd party booking houses and your staff that when asked if pet friendly to mention the high pet fee….. so truthfully they are not pet friendly

We had a great experience at this Residence Inn. The manager on duty, Aaron, (who I believe stated he was an area manager) was very friendly! The hotel was very busy and understaffed, yet he kept a great attitude and handled everything very well! Super impressed. Would definitely stay here again.

When we checked in on Sunday, Theresa just made our day. She was so friendly, just felt like family. After a long day of driving, to meet such a friendly person was much appreciated. She even called a nearby eating establishment to see what time they closed.

Great location for any MLS fan coming to town for a match against SKC. Great location right next to the outlet mall/shopping center where we even discovered a free movie night on our walk back from the game Staff was super friendly, breakfast was good. Room was one of the nicer ones I've probably ever stayed in. No complaints really and will plan to stay here again the next time I hit up a STL-SKC match

We liked the suite option of 2 separate rooms, 2 tvs, a kitchen, separate counter and mirror in addition to the bath counter and mirror. Great for family. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel, with lots of healthy options and hot fresh options.

This was the cleanest, best hotel we have stayed in in quite awhile! We've stayed at higher end hotels and haven't had near the positive experience that we had here! Everything was so clean, breakfast was excellent, especially for a hotel breakfast!, pool was great, we had plenty of room in our king suite, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! We loved the later 12pm checkout so we didn't have to rush in the morning. We will absolutely stay here again if we need a hotel in the area again!

Very clean property. Parking could be an issue on a weekend with a fully booked hotel. We missed breakfast by 5 minutes and staff was already cleaning it up. Breakfast staff kind of hid in the kitchen when they saw us looking for something left. Front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly. Overall a great property for the Legends area. Convenient for shopping, dining and area events.
