Nice pool and hot tub with outdoor bar. Walkable to the downtown hub of PIB. Wish they had a continental breakfast.

The hotel is just a few blocks from the Jet ferry at the edge of the entertainment district. Friendly staff and great pools including a swim up bar and lazy river. We had a great afternoon at the pool. Room was as expected. It has a refrigerator but no microwave. I could see it gettin noisy on the weekend. Music at the pool all day into the evening but quiet at night. We would stay there again if we come back to Put In Bay.

Great place to stay, the only annoying thing was the band that we had to put on for the whole duration of our stay, it doesn't make sense to me why that is necessary, and the only way we can remove the band is to cut it, so that means outside the hotel and also inside our rooms, we had to keep the band on, which was not pleasing at all for better duration of 2 days, giving a card which can use to enter the premises just like there is a card for the room would be the better option, anything but that Band pleaseee lol

Standard room and amenities, overall nice, you get what you pay for. There was fairly loud music being played at the pool but it was only on from morning until around 8 so sleeping was fine. Convenient location but you do have to pay for parking at the hotel.

It’s a fun place! Had a DJ most days. Was supposed to have one on Sunday, Aug 31, but he didn’t show up. No microwaves in rooms, no elevators. The bartender, Dylan, at the swim up bar was friendly and fun. If you rent a golf cart from the hotel, it has to be returned by 9pm, so I suggest you rent it from somewhere else(plus it’s cheaper). I had already paid for my stay through a 3rd party app, but when I got to the hotel, they charged me again. I said I wasn’t going to argue and I’ll figure it out later, another clerk decided he wanted to argue with me, I had again stated I wasn’t arguing after traveling 5 hours, because I didn’t want it to ruin my holiday weekend. (again, I wasn’t upset, I said I’d figure it out later) and he stated it was Expedia’s fault, which isn’t even who I booked with? I did get it worked out once I got home. Overall, it was a nice place. Not sure I’d book here again due to the no elevator situation and having to carry all your stuff up stairs. Also, you can’t take your own alcohol to the pool, and of course their drinks are overpriced

The swim up bar was nice. If you are going with a family, I think during the week would be better. On the weekend, there were a lot of young drunk people. But it would be nice for a family due to pool options.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Initially, we encountered a non-working elevator and had to lug our bags to the third floor. But, it was working again when we checked out. Renting a golf cart on site was very convenient but having to turn it in by 9:00 pm was not great, especially on the 4th with fireworks not ending until after 10:00. It was nice to have multiple pools available. Our room was clean and comfortable. Cleaning and general property staff were very friendly and eager to help. We will consider staying again when we are in PIB.

Quiet at night. Daytime, the music is super loud, pool is not for only guests staying at hotel and is not relaxing due to the amount of people. Golf carts rented at this hotel have to be returned by 9pm. First time staying at this hotel, much better options on the island.

Loved the lazy river and pool. Hot tub was great ad well. Area all around was clean and well cared for. We unfortunately didnt get to use those facilities we forgot our siits bit we did dip our toes and walk around. We used the front desk help of Juan and he was easy to talk to very friendly and helpful . He told us alot of places to eat, things to see and do. Our room was spotless as well. Definitely stay again and tell others about it also!!

Pool bars were closed during our long weekend stay which was disappointing.

We were very disappointed in this hotel stay. Even though it looks like they are updating their rooms, the old rooms were very dirty. Food left in the refrigerator; lip balm left on the floor. Dirty carpet that looked like it was never vacuumed because of all the of bugs in the corners. We had three people and there was not enough room for all of us. The beds were right up against the walls. You had to turn sideways to get out of the beds. The vending machines were not labeled correctly. We picked 7up and got Dr Pepper. Lastly the hot tub was so extremely hot you couldn't sit in it.

Rooms have been remodeled and everything is really clean. Friendly staff as well. We would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful experience at the Islander Inn. I was initially uncertain after reading some older reviews, but I’m very glad I paid attention to the more recent ones, which reflect the positive changes under the new ownership. The owners are actively involved onsite, which is evident in the level of care and attention given to the property. The rooms and common areas were exceptionally clean, and the staff—from the front desk to the poolside bartenders—were consistently welcoming, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere throughout the hotel felt inviting and well-maintained. The pool bar was another highlight; the drinks were excellent and generously prepared. Overall, the Islander Inn exceeded our expectations, and it will be our preferred place to stay whenever we visit Put-in-Bay.

DJ played music so loudly from approximately 11:00 until 6:00 pm every day that we were there. it was so loud that the headboards rattled against the walls. Website did not mention this at all. Room was not clean. Hotel has not been updated in some time. No coffee pots in room.

Our room floor was dirty. You’d get out of the shower walk barefoot and look at your feet and they would be black

The floor in our room was filthy. Blackout curtains would be very appreciated. Security seemed very good.

No soap at all in the bathroom when we checked in and I went to the housekeeping room and asked for some, the lady was very rude. Later that night we notice a lot of gnats in our room flying around. After killing about 10 of them we kept the light on in the bathroom to get them to go in there when we went to bed. The next morning we reported it and housekeeping came to clean them up but we said they needed to be sprayed because there were many alive flying around. They called maintenance and he came and sprayed around the door outside and vacuumed up what he could. There is a gap between the door to outside where they can get in so more came in. We left to go to the pool and when he left he did not secure our door. We came back to the door ajar. Our room on day 2, was not cleaned at all as it was as the same as we left it. We didn't complain as we had not used the towels yet. We had to again leave the bathroom light on all night to attract the gnats where in the morning there were several in there again. While we were gone the housekeeping staff had been in as they did leave bathroom amenities and new towels but there was no cleaning done. I let management know and their only reply was this was their policy and the door was put on a list to be fixed. The hotel allows anyone to use the pools with out staying there so what was I paying for. Lastly our toilet stopped working and I was handed a plunger to fix it myself while 3 people were standing behind the front desk.

The room was clean. The A/C kept the room nice and cool. All the employees were nice and helpful.

The entire premises were clean and well taken care of! The grounds were very attractive and inviting

our room had a speaker just outside our door blaring extremely loud music for hours on end. Management was not helpful in providing any sort of resolution for this. Very disruptive to a relaxing vacation. When the walls were not shaking from the music, the room was very nice and the location was perfect.

The DJ’s, bars and pools really made the price worth it for our stay. This hotel was in a really great area where every place we wanted to go to was a short walk. One thing that our group didn’t enjoy were the beds. When I booked our stay and got the receipts at the end of our stay we were told queen size beds in each room, but they were only full size beds. Made it hard for a good nights sleep. Also wish there was some more room to hang our wet suits and towels. Would still recommend this place to stay

Nice property, lots of pools. Needs updated just a little, did not have smart TVs and was unable to watch football. At night the only entrance is through a back gate in an alley that is dark. A well lit up area would be nice. Overall was nice. A few more amenities would be great. We had a good time!

AC in room struggled at night.

Stay was good. The hotel room at which we were placed was a little more noisy than expected but otherwise good. During our visit the pool music beat was noticeable in our room from 10:30 am-9:00 pm

Rooms were fairly updated, tv was mounted and there was plenty of dresser space to unpack comfortably. The beds were super comfortable and the a/c kept the room super cool.

Seemed to be the most popular hotel, rooms were clean but lacking the coffee maker, microwave combo most places have. Coffee can be had in the lobby which can be quite a long walk. Beds comfy, staff very friendly and sweet every time! Our favorite go-to on PutInBay!

Staff was Awesome. In the heart of everything. Clean. Would stay here again.

Great room. Very comfortable. Extremely happy with the entire experience. Staff very helpful and friendly and watch our bags since we arrived before check-in.

Very unfriendly and hard to understand man working the check in desk charged an extra 17.50 for I don't know what just showed up on my credit card and still not refunded my deposit a week later

Reservations were constantly being changed. I requested first floor and they assured me by email it would be and when I checked in, it wasn't. They double booked us into someone else room then booking the golf cart kept getting messed up and I had to call 4 x to get it straightened out and in the end, it was still a mess.

Great location on the island, especially for a first timer. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was very friendly.

Pretty sweet room with balcony and its in the middle of downtown, all restaurants and bars were close by!

Did enjoy our stay overall but swimup bar was not open and we didn't know that until we checked in. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We tried relaxing in the hot tub but there were small children splashing and jumping in from the sides when they should have been in the pool to do that!
