The property was above average. We chose this hotel because it advertised 2 Tesla chargers. I called ahead to confirm that they had Tesla chargers and they confirmed they did. When we arrived, there were NO Tesla chargers, just a generic EV charger. I've attached a photo showing that there were Tesla chargers at one time, but they have been removed. If you're looking for a property in Cedar City that does have a Tesla charger, choose the Abbey Inn. I personally verified that they do have 1 Tesla charger.

The room and staff were amazing. The sweet gentleman tending the garden was a delight to talk to. My only issue is online it says there are electric charges. It doesn’t tell you they are Tesla charger. I booked this hotel with the intention of charging my car and I was not able to.

We enjoyed the raised veggie gardens, relaxing atmosphere, live music and especially the grounds keeper. He was very informative of the area, it’s history and was just a very interesting guy to speak with!

The hotel is new, comfortable, and well located near a nice park and playground as well as restaurants and the Utah Shakespeare Theatre. It has a little garden, a splash pad, guest laundry, vending machines, and office equipment, but no swimming pool. Breakfast is included.

We had an excellent stay while we were attending the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Clean and convenient. Loved the vegetable garden. Good fitness center. Only two disappointments: No bacon was offered at the otherwise good breakfasts and no swimming pool, which was a bummer. Otherwise, all good.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The breakfast was great and it was very close to where our daughter lives and other beautiful parts of Cedar City. Staff was very friendly and hotel was easy to get to. Room was nice and clean.

Carpet looked a bit dirty but as a whole, my stay was wonderful. Bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom and breakfast was fantastic. Hotel has a beautiful patio area with seats and a gas firepit. Also has an attached RV camping area.

The carpets had been poorly cleaned just before our stay and me and my family likely have chemical burns in our lungs and throat. We are both still hoarse and my throat and lungs still burn . This is the worst, THE WORST hotel experience we have ever had !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cleaning staff the next day was wearing a mask, so that tells you how bad they thought it was. This was an overpriced expensive hotel too!!!

Rooms were old, except new paint it seemed like. Bathtub was old, toilet was old, floor had dead bugs on it. Tv furniture looked new, Food on the floor under foot table, it wasn’t vacuumed when we got there. Wasn’t impressed for how much it cost. Bed was comfortable that’s about it. Breakfast was typical.

It was ok…for a night it was fine but I would look for another place if I needed to stay more. The room was clean, that’s a major plus but the bed was uncomfortable and very noisy, even for just the slightest movement. The breakfast was good, simple but nice.

I would have given a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the fact that the tv in the room was not a smart tv, so no option to log in to our channels (Netflix) and keep watching our series before going to bed! Other than that we enjoyed our stay! Very clean and very nice breakfast with lot of options!

This is a nice, attractive hotel convenient to the Shakespeare Festival. The breakfast is standard fare -- scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, breads and cereals. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, but the A/C unit is very noisy and seems to struggle to keep the temperature down.

Our toilet was not flushing a couple hours after we arrived (hardly used it) and the front desk guy brought me a plunger. I obviously said no thanks! And we moved rooms at midnight. With all of the other, nicer, newer/remodeled hotels out there… BW as a chain should be cheaper than they are.

Train your employees (young woman at desk morning of 5-7) NOT to scare your guests as they are checking out, with “I can put this on another card yes, but Expedia might charge you also on the card you used to hold the “pay the time of” reservation. No. They won’t. This cost me a half hour in travel time as I panicked as spent a half hour on the phone with Expedia confirming what I already knew. Other than that, it was fine.

Isabel running the office was great. I did check out earlier than planned and a different lady I told forgot to go in and change it and leave a note so my card was charged. Isabel said she would take care of it and had good service.

We have stayed at Best Western a number of times when visiting Cedar City. We are always taken care of expertly by staff. It is walking distance to SUU where we enjoy the Shakespeare Festival. We have enjoyed our stay each time and have never experienced a negative situation.

The staff member at the front desk was having a hard time. I waited for almost an hour to get to the desk. There were two guests ahead of me. He had to call his manager every time. Then when it’s my turn I find out that they are not pet friendly. When I made the reservation I had pet friendly as a search filter and this hotel was in the results. I waited an hour to be told that I couldn’t cancel as I made the reservation through Expedia. He did suggest that I just leave my dog in the car.

Great place to stay in Cedar City. Very convenient location on Main Street in downtown Cedar City. All the downtown restaurants and also a supermarket are within a five-minute walk. Southern Utah University is a fifteen-minute walk.

I visit the Best Western in Cedar City a few times a year, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect. Nice and quiet, yet still close to events, dining, and all kinds of outdoor activities the area has to offer. The staff is always welcoming, kind, and helpful, making every stay enjoyable. I especially love when the garden out back is in bloom.
