McMenamins White Eagle is a quirky, historic saloon-hotel with small, artsy rooms over a venue; expect shared bathrooms, limited parking, and noticeable noise until around midnight, but often comfortable beds and good value for budget-minded travelers.

An awesome experience, the idea of a common shower and a common bathroom was at first never something that be ok with….but they were private and easily secured. The place was a restomod and was something Id tell everyone to experience. Imagine being in an early 1900s maybe late 1800s hotel that squeaked with twelve foot ceiling and everything immaculate

There's a bit of noise from downstairs until they close at 10, which I expected. I wish there were a bench or a shelf in the shower rooms, but otherwise, a cute little place. I did not have any ghostly experience.

The hotel is as advertised, as in, it is primarily intended for folks enjoying the festivities downstairs. It was clean, the staff were ridiculously friendly and helpful and the location was close to everything I wanted to do or get to while I was in town. If you’re attending a show at the White Eagle Saloon and you don’t mind a steepish stair climb to your room, I’d recommend checking out these lodgings.
