Rodeway Inn Bryce Canyon

The location really served my needs at a reasonable price (majority of places near Bryce Canyon aren't reasonable, imo), but it is an older place. The 1st room I was given, the shower took more strength than I had to operate. The young man who checked me in was wonderful in allowing me to change rooms. Then the TV wouldn't work in the new room. Again, he came to my rescue. The room is everything I need: the shower works well, the room appears clean, flooring is not carpet but tile (yay), it's quiet, and I feel safe. Coffee is in the lobby, or I could make some in my room. The microwave is quite small, but works fine, as does the mini-fridge. Yes, I would stay here again.

Room assignment was on second floor. No elevator. Ice machine outside the building. Room was ok, although bathroom sink faucet was difficult to operate.

Good inn not too far from Bryce Canyon NP. The guy at the reception was very friendly and there’s a lot of available parking which is a big plus. The room itself was a bit outdated, but it was clean and had everything you needed. So no issue at all for us! I would recommend this to everyone.

The room was clean. They provided us with excellent Toiletries. Note that there is no breakfast, but we planned for it being absent anyway. There is free coffee nearby check-in area and I liked that. The guy at the front was not super communicative. We requested for extra pillows and they asked us to go downstairs to get it. We expected them to come over to our room to provide it. It is nearby Bryce Canyon NP and that is a plus. Decent price for the room so we chose it. Liked our stay here.

It was a short stay for as we headed out to the canyon and long day of driving Not much amenities around the hotel and no breakfast offered. No elevator so be prepared to haul your stuff up if you are on the second floor. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable!

The management of the property tries there best to keep the facility in good and neat condition!! The inn is really outdated but the room is clean, the bed is camfortable, the sheets are clean, you can find everything you need in the room. They do not have breakfast, unfortunatelly, but morning coffee in the looby was a great option! So, place is really good for tourists coming to see these wonderful places but do not want to pay much or didn't make reservations early! Guys, thank you!

no breakfast, they asked if i wanted housekeeping during check in but proceeded to not do any housekeeping, had to ask for new towels and soaps. but its very close to bryce canyon and its a motel so whatever.

Duck tape used in the hall should be a first clue. You have an air conditioner with no controls... so no air conditioner. Mouse traps in the rooms. No elevator if your stuck on the second floor. Good luck trying to sleep when the outside door slams each time consequently shaking all the room doors. You'll run out of hot water if enough people shower. Had to hold your card info as security deposit. But hey, at least we had clean sheets. Will not be staying again.

The bathroom had a hairball on the floor that was big enough to need its own zip code.

Customer service man wasn't thrilled for our arrival or interactive as well with us. The bed was not comfy. Place seemed kinda sketchy and room was not clean. It was pretty gross and things were being held up with duct tape. Crazy. We will not stay here again.

The surfaces were clean but the walls were full of splatters and stains. The bed sheets were also stained.

Reviews did not match what we found, floors were dirty, especially the bathroom floor. There was no help at the front desk in the morning. Wanted to ask where the ice machine was, a note said it was outside the second door, went out the only "second" door at the end of the hall, no ice there. Although the mattress was good, the pillows were small and hard.

Waited for the person at the desk for over 5 minutes because he was upstairs doing something else. The floor in the room was dirty. A weird smell in the hallway. Manager/ front desk was not very friendly. When checking out the staff never said a word to me and I told them to have a nice day when leaving. House next to the motel was very cluttered and several trash bags sitting out...

Clean room

20 minutes from Bryce Canyon visitor center. Good price for what you get. Clean room. Property is dated. TV only had one channel. Manager tried to fix, but still only one channel.

It was comfortable and quiet, there was some stuff on the floor like dirt whwn i arrived but they cleaned it better the next day. The shower head/shower han minimal pressure and a lot of hard water scale built up and not all the sprayers were spraying.

This is an older property that has obviously been well maintained. Rooms are neet, clean, with enough room. Bathroom was tiny but usable. Not alot of sink space. Just a place to sleep. Very loud A/C (heat mode) and refrigerator. Refrigerator made clicking noise constantly. Heat went on for two minutes, off for 5, and repeated that all night. Numerous items powered by extension cords. Maid cleaned room, however never would make the bed. Works as a cheap room, however I would not pay too much to stay there. If the same price as something else in the area, stay there.

This property is old and small. Needs to be updated desperately

It was conveniently located near Bryce. The room was cramped. Two double beds really limited the usable space. The one bed was right against the heat/ac unit..probably not the safest thing. For the cost and the limited time we spent there it was acceptable ,having options for a single queen bed would make a world of difference

Shower was almost unusable. Went from cold to scalding with a slight movement of the knob

The beds were clean but very little water pressure and lukewarm water. Air conditioner was inadequate for the room.

We just needed a place for 1 night for a saturday bike race. The beds are small doubles and one of them had the LOUDEST metallic screeching noise whenever you moved even slightly, it was hilarious, but also very annoying. I found some hairs on my bedding, i really hope the sheets were clean. It seemed pretty clean otherwise but everything is very old, worn and rusty. The towels were very well used. There was a nice fridge with a freezer compartment which worked well and a microwave. I also saw free coffee in the lobby. I appreciated the hard floors instead of carpet.

This property is okay for a stop over, but is not professionally operated. Minimal housekeeping, yet envelope on chest for housekeeping tips. Might want to provide the service if you want a tip for it - just a suggestion. On the second night, the manager came into our room unannounced after we were asleep demanding our name because he forgot he switched our room upon check-in due to the toilet wouldn't flush in our first room. Why he had to wait until that time of night to find this out and not knock and wait for us to answer the door was upsetting. After confronting him the next day, I asked why he did that, and he said he had forgotten about the switch and we didn't answer the door that he had supposedly knocked on. Well, maybe because we were ASLEEP and the knock wasn't loud enough to hear over the AC unit! There was no secondary lock other than the deadbolt type, but apparently that's not a deterrent either. Definitely was not a good experience. This is bare bones accommodations that is convenient to the parks, but just don't expect much in the way of service with indignant professionalism.

Front desk worker was unfriendly and rude. Everything else about the stay was fine.

The manager was very helpful in getting our Expedia reservations resolved. We were missing one room and they accommodated us quickly. Thank you!

I rarely leave negative reviews. However, this hotel does not deserve even one star. The front desk staff showed no professionalism or courtesy—they did not greet guests or say thank you, and spent most of the time on speakerphone having a personal conversation. The room was unpleasant and uncomfortable to stay in. It seems the hotel relies on being the cheapest option near Bryce Canyon, assuming guests will come regardless of service quality. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Terrible service.

Decent, clean hotel. Cost efficiency is pretty good. Nice location for Bryce Canyon visiting.

Close to Bryce Canyon National Park

The property is mediocre at best, but it's the best value close to Bryce Canyon Park and very quiet and has in room coffee.The nearest restaurant is 6 miles away, either at the next town or the Pines restaurant closer to the park.

I can tell that the business owner maintains the property well. The major issue is the restaurants around the property already closed for the season. Therefore, we have to drive couple miles to the nearby town to buy food and dinner.

Close to Bryce Canyon and restaurants in Panguitch.

Great price and very conveniently located for Bryce Canyon

Super clean! Excellent distance away from Bryce Canyon too, an easy 25 minute drive. Free coffee in the lobby was a godsend for our early morning trying to catch the sunrise in the canyon. Property is right beside the freeway road, but since it is a fairly remote location, far away from big cities and heavy traffic, it is still very quiet at night. This was the perfect spot to stay the night for our Bryce Canyon trip!

There were only two dining options near the motel and, by the time I was ready to eat, both were closed. So I had to drive into Panguitch for dinner (a seven mile drive).

I can tell that the business owner maintains the property well. The major issue is the restaurants around the property already closed for the season. Therefore, we have to drive couple miles to the nearby town to buy food and dinner.
