Hôtel sympa pour un passage d’une nuit ou deux. Dommage que l’évier de la salle de bain était hors de celle-ci et était dans la chambre directement. Peu pratique.. Déjeuner basique, malheureusement les croissants nouveaux n’étaient pas assez cuit et ceux du lendemain avait été remis donc les autres étaient secs. Gros point positif, le parking gratuit et le calme dans la chambre.

Very nice budget hotel with small but comfortable room. The location is great with all the shopping brands you need. Easy access to the center of Amsterdam. They also give you 1 free access for the public parking garage next door.

Completely Irresponsible, Avoid at All Costs An establishment that completely refuses to take responsibility. The “Nieuw-West” parking garage was imposed and recommended by the reception and presented as “secure” and free for hotel guests. Upon departure, we discovered that our car had been vandalized (window smashed). What the hotel does not mention is that other guests’ vehicles had already been vandalized in the days before, information that was never disclosed to us. Once the incident occurred, the narrative suddenly changed: the parking became “public,” “at your own risk,” no responsibility, no solution. Despite detailed written exchanges and a genuine attempt at an amicable settlement, the hotel simply stopped responding. A lot of superficial empathy, zero accountability, zero transparency. If you are travelling by car, avoid this hotel. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable for a supposedly serious establishment.

Compact and cozy rooms but clean and with excellent transport links to Amsterdam. The area around had a ton of grocery stores and other shops as well. The bike rentals (€15 per day) were also much appreciated.

This hotel is a little jewel,safe parking 5 minutes away( paid by hotel),very friendly staff nothing was too much trouble for them ,,room was a bit small but very clean ,did not have breakfast but it did look nice ,i would recommend this place if you are going to the Meervaart theatre ,we will use this hotel again Thank you to the staff

Offered free parking which is only a5 minute walk away which is a huge bonus. Do note only one in and out free. Tram a minute walk which takes you to tourist area about 25 mins away. Buy a 24 or 48 hour pass value for money. Shopping at door step. Bed ok two separate mattress pushed together. Clean and small unit. Would stay again friendly staff.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, close to tram station. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The only downside was our shower did not drain properly and it smelled awful. We did notify the front desk several times, unfortunately it was never resolved, however, they were nice to remove our beverage tab at the end of our stay for the inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again!

Upgraded to a large twin room as small double had a plumbing issue. The upgrade room was lovely but lots of traffic noise until the very early hours. Staff are great communication fantastic.

I loved the small rooms, that all have a theme - the size reminded me of cruise ship cabins. Staff was wonderful, very accommodating! Water was VERY HOT!!!! Being that there are no dressers, it would have been nice if we had luggage racks so there would not have been a lot of bending as one searched her suitcase and if a box of Kleenex was provided that would have been perfect!

Really lovely hotel, staff friendly and the dining room and bar area were nicely decorated. We asked for a room with a window. Room was decorated really lovely but it was so small. Bed is wall to wall, so you have to crawl to end of bed to get out of bed. There is with a metre width between end of bed and sink. Shower room was decorated well good size shower and toilet, no hand basin… had to you the one in bedroom. Overall if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep only it’s ok. Room is so small to spent time in there and relax.

Very very small room and narrow room. Toilet sink is out of the toilet, you have to wash your hands there. No place to store/hang your clothes. No table, no shelf to put your stuff. Friendly personal, good location. Garage opportunity is perfect. Overall I do not recommend the room.

Hotel is located in a very convenient area for shops and transport into the city centre. However, we had an issue with our card during to check in and the staff were very rude and no help on how we should solve it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless they needed to be in the area for any reason.

The staff sometimes seems annoyed to be helpful. One in particular, but this is third tine I have stayed here and I think it is pretty consistent…there is always one who acts like it is my great privilege to stay there and they are bothered by the presence of paying customers. Also, many people cone to your hotel exhausted after traveling many hours to get to Europe. A little kindness goes a long ways.

First of all I came downstairs in early mornings around 1 on my first night due to lack of tea. No staffs fault but they saw me and they behaved in a way to relate to a geust. The whole crew worked as a team. The night shift behave in a way.. your problem is our problem. Each team that covered all shifts worked in harmony which is nice to see . They were funny and had their own individual characters. All the staff I had the chance to meet were respectable dutch citizens proud showing me off their style ,cultural heritage. All of them looked after their own clients as if it was their own family. One of the best place to stay. The crew ..not the staff made a difference. Hotel is always a building but the crew brought the reputation and everything else that followed

We recently stayed at the Citiez hotel and it was an incredible experience! The staff was out of this world and the rooms were clean and comfortable! Excellent hotel staff! Next time I travel to Amsterdam, I will definitely stay here!! Atila was the best!

Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The area is not central to the main areas but does have a lot of shop and food options in the adjacent plaza. Public transportation was easy and cheap to get into the city. Very loud at night randomly in through the windows and not a very diverse area.

Had a comfortable stay here, only downside is the location as it’s far from the centre but it’s a minute walk from the tram stop. It’s also a 15 minute drive from the airport!

The hotel is in a small mall, in an area where north African people seems to be prevalent. The place is clean, shops close early and there are no noisy spots. My wife and I never felt unsafe. The place is about half way between the Shiphol airport and the city center; bus 369 goes to airport, tram 17 goes to city center; both journeys requiring about 40 minutes. Rooms are very small, exactly as advertised; breakfast is continental (no eggs), but pleasant, with bread, meat, pastries, juice, coffee or tea. It's "take all you can eat, but eat what you take".

Had a great time here when visiting Amsterdam on a girls trip. Staff were lovely, hotel was nice and so was the basic breakfast. The only negative was the size of the room, and they didn't clean our room everyday. Other than that, would highly recommend. Great location a couple minutes work to the tram that goes directly to the city center and the bus goes directly to the airport.

Citiez is exactly how it advertises itself. There are loads of connections into central and elsewhere, so it is quite convenient. The room could have used a mini fridge, but other than that, it was solid. It wasn’t particularly loud, as others have said (although we had a corner room, so only had a neighbor on one side). If you’re closer to the reception you might hear the music downstairs. The breakfast is wildly overpriced, at €12.50, and they didn’t have a toaster. But it had a reasonable selection of food. The staff at the front desk are really nice, especially the man who I don’t have the name of who works at night. The pillows could definitely use an upgrade. Good value and I would stay at citiez again.
