This is a hidden gem and very affordable. It does not appear to be part of a chain. It is laid out like a motel, but I didn't feel unsafe or inconvenienced as parking was close to the room. Super clean, generous breakfast options. Nice young man at the front desk at check in and lovely woman during check out in the morning. Would return for sure.

They are currently upgrading this hotel. Should be very nice real soon. Our room had a terrible smell and we were right on the main road which was noisy. Bed was comfortable. Carpet needs upgrading.

No elevator so had to use outside stairs. They were in very poor condition, broken and rusty. Wife would not go up them so we left the motel as there were no first floor rooms.

We have been staying here for years it had always been such a clean hotel but this time it really has gone downhill our bathroom was dirty the bed cover were stained yellow it’s a shame we will not be staying again.

The bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold and when the room upstairs showered water leaked into our bathroom. When I told the front office they did nothing about it or offer to change our room. Sheets and towels were dingy with stains.

The room was okay except for the smell. I think it was coming from the carpet, chair and ottoman. They all looked extremely worn. The rest of the room was okay. The door did not appear to close tightly and it allowed light and a lot of noise to come inside the room.

Check in was horrible. Booked with hotels.com for 2 rooms 4 adults. Paid for the 2 rooms. Got to the hotel and only one room was sent over so my reservation that I paid for was wrong and it was not honored.

Upon arrival the lady at the desk said they were having issues with their system, but could see my reservation on her screen and I had it printed also. Knowing this, she attempted to charge my credit card again without even saying anything to me. I was watching her demeanor, saw her looking and typing the numbers so I locked my card from my phone, if not she would have double charged me knowing I had paid in full through Expedia. Finally after a 30 minute wait check in was complete. We got to the room the beds were super firm as were the pillows. Breakfast at first glace looked like it would be good, but there was a hair in the potatoes and the juice machine was there but not on leaving the only drink options being the drinks they had for sale in the lobby. Overall the hotel was not a great experience with the hotel, but Amish country was very nice. The hotel was super convenient to Amish country.

When I made this reservation, I contacted the property and asked for a ground floor room due to certain disabilities. The hotel messaged me back through Expedia and told me I had a ground floor room waiting. Once I arrived, I was informed by the desk there were no more ground floor rooms. I would have to stay upstairs, so needless to say I struggle with steps in the rain and I’m very unhappy about the treatment I received it will reflect any future stays with this hotel.

The air filter was completely disgusting I had to clean & sanitize it & the bathroom!! The house keeper didn’t even knock the next morning just walked in while I was half naked & was very disrespectful even tho it wasn’t check out time!!

The toilet tank would not fill back up with water after you flushed it. Had to fill the tank back up with water with the ice bucket using the sink. All the maintenance crew was gone for the weekend. Every room was booked for the night and was not able to change rooms. Hotel staff said since we booked and paid for the room through expedia we could not get a refund or a discount for the room.

We made last minute reservations, 2 hours before arrival, and were very pleasantly surprised at how nice our stay was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaner and nicer than the room we had had the night before at a more expensive chain hotel. Richland was convenient to shopping and restaurants. We also loved the beautiful town square that was just a few minutes away.

The beds were comfortable and our room was clean. We turned our heat on and it started to produce a putrid smell. This got better when we turned it off. Our room phone did not work, so we had to go the front desk to inform them. Additionally, there was a hair in my breakfast. Overall, decent stay but definitely room for improvement.
