Property was run down. Room was not particularly clean with black hairs in bathtub. Room smelled like the smoke-multiple guests and staff members (on break) smoking right outside property so guests like myself that were on the first floor could smell the smoke coming in. NO ice machine anywhere in building-had to go to Stop and Shop and get bags of ice which was very inconvenient. Would NOT recommend this hotel.

My room was clean and luckily I had no issues with bugs. HOWEVER, I don't think the carpet in the hallways has ever been cleaned. If you want housekeeping you have to request it and pay extra. The laundry room doesn't have a change machine, they don't keep quarters at the front desk, and the machines don't take cards. The employees were blasting a radio in the hallway and never seemed to be at the front desk when I needed them. I had a kitchenette but NO dishes nor silverware... not even an individually wrapped dispisable cup to take my medication. Since it's an Extended Stay, some people were residents. My hallway smelled like cat urine/litter boxes and when I mentioned it to staff, they said they allowed dogs but were sure they didn't have cats. I've had cats and I know that smell. I wondered how they would know if there's no housekeeping staff entering the rooms. I said, "You might not think there are cats here, but I'm telling you there are." It was brushed under the rug like I was the one who didn't know what I was talking about. Also, don't rely on the grab & go breakfast. It's pre-packaged dry muffins and packaged oatmeal. I will not be staying there again, or at least until it's under new management.

The parking lot was filthy. There was garbage everywhere. There was a very unpleasant smell in the lobby and hallways. It wasn’t quite as bad in the room. We were told there was a small breakfast & when we went down about 8:15am there was coffee and granola bars.

* Good location - right off Interstate 95 (but see below) * Plenty of parking * Price is moderate However there are several things off with this prorperty: * Location: Being besides I-95, it does gets noisy starting early morning through late night. * Smell: Strange foul smell from the bathroom that gets into the entire room (Cannabis or whatever), which eventually goes away after both the bathroom fan and A/C are on for a while. * Cleanliness: Several towels had stains in them, Full sized sofa bed had a soiled sheet. During my stay I saw a small cockroach and a large spider in the room. No free room service (comes with an extra charge) or stay of 7+ days (Weekly). * Service: No additional soap bars, no body wash, no conditioners, no extra pillows even upon request. TV remote was missing from the room, it took 2 days to get a working one. * Breakfast - since when did bland coffee + packaged blueberry muffins = Breakfast?

The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. Our check-in had a glitch in that we prepaid on Hotels.com but they still showed a balance of $171, which I am not entirely sure how was settled. I'm monitoring our cards to make sure that we weren't double charged. So far, so good, but it was weird. The hotel itself did not feel clean. The hallway our entire time didn't get vacuumed and visibly needed it. The refrigerator in the room was filthy and the desk had a small puddle of water on it for no apparent reason. Overall room cleanliness was fair. They have a very limited grab and go breakfast and on the first day there was no coffee. It wasn't the most expensive hotel in the area but for the price we paid expected a little better. Still we slept well and again, the staff were friendly and helpful.

When we arrived, they were sold out on the type of room we had reserved, but the front desk person, Stephanie, was very nice. Since we were a party of 4, she gave us 2 rooms for the price of 1. The only issue was the second room we were given did not have proper heat and we were pretty cold all night and couldn’t sleep well as a result. The room was also wasn’t cleaned well and the bathroom sink had facial hair all over that I had to clean up before my wife could notice it. Breakfast was a grab & go type. Nothing fancy. They should designate smoking area into the back of the building instead of the front so it is family friendly. The front desk person’s service was friendly and cordial with a smile.

The room was clean, but VERY basic (faux wood floors, no carpet; basic blinds no curtain). The bed was lumpy, but the AC worked. (I walked into a room with the AC on full blast at 22:30 -- how long had it been on? Why so cold? NOT eco-friendly!!). Hallway carpets are stained beyond acceptable range. The elevator was broken my entire trip.

We had cockroaches in our room and the manager was to refund us one night, however upon returning home we found cockroaches in our suitcases and are now in our homes. I have contacted the hotel 3 times by email and once by phone and have asked for a full refund. No reply yet.

Our room had been serviced but it was not clean. Specially, the floor was filthy and the bathtub not cleaned. We asked for a different room but none were available. A discount was offered. All public areas were dirty. Specifically, all hallway carpets were very dirty and stained, elevator landings and elevator floors were dirty. Overall, not a very pleasant experience.

There is nothing to do here. As soon as we crawled in bed the fire alarm went off so we had to wait for that to be cleared by firemen. Then we got no sleep because of people screaming in the hallway and people above us making noise all night. In the morning we found cockroaches in the sink. Pretty sure I was bit by bed bugs.

The room was dirty and the physical space looked like someone had trashed it recently. A kitchen drawer had been destroyed with the pieces left behind. Thete was a whole the size of a fist in the bathroom door, and stained and dusty loose slip cover on the only chair, dirt on the night side table and the mattress, which moved the moment I sat down showed filthy surfaces wherever the frame had a flat service. The walls were scarred with what looked like a blunt instrument. I left 20 minutes later despite having paid for 2 nights. It was located in an area where I wouldn't have walked after 4 in the afternoon, when businesses shut down.

The stay was as expected for the cost. It served my purpose of convenience to where I needed to off I-95. The mattresses however were thin and made it difficult to sleep. the walls were thin and insulation around windows which made it easy to hear conversations and noise in the hallways, next door room, and outside. My only other negative would be seeing peanut butter mice traps under the kitchen cabinet, which implies there may be a rodent problem. All in all- it is what it is.

Very thin walls! We could hear the TV from other rooms, there was also a lot of adult activity that was very noisy. For the bedding, there was just one sheet, no blanket, and three flat pillows for two adults.

Fast checkin, quiet hotel. $100 deposit against damage placed on my debit card, I expect that will be removed in a day or two. My only real complaints are : Free Internet service not the fastest and I wasn't interested in spending another $8 for an upgrade; no chair only a sofa for seating. It's for those two reasons I didn't rate this 5 stars overall.

It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. But it smelled like a marijuana joint. Right next to the I-95, it was very noisy. The whole place was quite old. All the utensils and glasses or anything that was expected in a room with a kitchen was available only upon request. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee tasted terrible.

From the Boston area and headed to Providence for the night. The location was easy for our plans. We arrived at the exact time for check-in. (Maybe 15 earlier) the rooms weren’t ready and they asked us to wait which turned into about 45 minutes just about of waiting before we can fully check in and get to our room. There was a woman in the lobby that has been there for an extended period of time on the phone in a fight with someone yelling profanities no one said anything. Upon finally getting to our room which was clean the blinds are broken so I had the parking lot lights blaring in all night. A lot of the doors to get into the building or having issues so all night long being on the ground floor, we heard the doors banging as people entered an exit the building at some point in the middle of the night they were people outside in the parking lot arguing. There was never information given for the free Wi-Fi that was advertised or the breakfast that was supposed to be included when we left in the morning. I did not see anything. The staff at the desk didn’t really seem too friendly, which made me uncomfortable to say anything at all considering I didn’t sleep at all. I could’ve saved myself money and just drive back to Boston in the middle of the night.
From the Boston area and headed to Providence for the night. The location was easy for our plans. We arrived at the exact time for check-in. (Maybe 15 earlier) the rooms weren’t ready and they asked us to wait which turned into about 45 minutes just about of waiting before we can fully check in and get to our room. There was a woman in the lobby that has been there for an extended period of time on the phone in a fight with someone yelling profanities no one said anything. Upon finally getting to our room which was clean the blinds are broken so I had the parking lot lights blaring in all night. First of all, when I arrived at 1:40am on Saturday, 12/14, the front desk clerk told me they had overbooked for the evening. I had to then find another hotel to stay for the rest of the night, and it's impossible to book a hotel online for the night after midnight. Second, I haven't gotten a refund for this extreme inconvenience. I didn't end up finding another hotel to stay in until an hour later, and having only gone to bed after 3am, I had to work this morning 10am. This overbooking was totally unnecessary and rude. This is why my review for this establishment is bad.

When I arrived for check-in, there was only a cleaning person at the front desk. I was told that the 'internet' down, and that they could not check me in even though I had a reservation. I was turned away!!! I was then transferred to another telephone number, who ended up being a person who had not worked at this location for 6 months!! and was very angry that I was given their phone number. The whole experience was negative, and I was forced to go to another hotel for the night at 3 times the cost!!!! Totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

My room was in terrible disrepair, although the plumbing was good. Walls with gashes. An entire drawer from the kitchen cabinet was missing. The shower curtain was covered at the bottom with black mold. Homeless man was sleeping overnight on a picnic table. The entire neighborhood seemed to be not safe or desirable. I stayed here because I refused to spend $400 a night downtown. For $150 a night, however, I expected a lot nicer place.

Visited CT for work, then Boston for fun with the family, and wanted to visit Rhode Island on the way back to CT, as 3 out of 4 of us had never been there before. This hotel seemed like a decent price and a good location based on the map. It was a no-frills place, but we were comfortable. The location from downtown was really good, very easy to get in and out and onto the highway. Kind of in an industrial type area....it was friday night and there was nothing going on in the general vicinity. The lobby was very small and more than one family or group in there made for a crowd. At breakfast one lady who was waiting with a baby asked a few other people fixing coffee if they were the ones partying on the 4th floor. I guess that sort of thing happens when it's a place people live for an extended time. The room was basic but comfortable. We did not use the kitchenette. The hallway smelled like food, which again, i guess sort of happens when it's more of a living space with kitchens. It was definitely not luxurious but was adequate for one night passing through

Friendly staff. Beyond that: Industrial area, building walls are thin (you can be heard and hear everything), I would suspect that some of the guests rent there for housing needs, I always saw people standing outside and there was someone who was sleeping overnight in the parking lot in a car. I will never stay here again.

NOT in a safe area of the city. The building itself had a bad smell throughout: stale smoke and cooked food smells. Many people were smoking right outside the door, as well as in the entryway. I left immediately upon arrival and when I told a local about my experience, he said, "Branch Street?! Never go to Branch Street!" Lesson learned.

It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. But it smelled like a marijuana joint. Right next to the I-95, it was very noisy. The whole place was quite old. All the utensils and glasses or anything that was expected in a room with a kitchen was available only upon request. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee tasted terrible.

We were disappointed and probably not choose to stay again. The receptionist front desk was so friendly and kind however when we got to our room it was no longer pleasing. The sheets were stained and looked unchanged. There was a bag with a hanger holding it to cover something on the ceiling felt creepy and the breakfast was the worst consisting of coffee , oatmeal or a muffin. We were counting on a small breakfast and get off on our trip.

The parking lot was filthy. There was garbage everywhere. There was a very unpleasant smell in the lobby and hallways. It wasn’t quite as bad in the room. We were told there was a small breakfast & when we went down about 8:15am there was coffee and granola bars.

The only good thing about this property was the price. This is my second time to stay at this property, the first one being a little over a year ago. If you are on the highway side of the building, it is quite noisy in the morning with rush-hour traffic. in the middle of the night, the Providence police came in, pounded on a door down the hall, apparently arresting someone. The commotion went on for about 20 minutes. And finally, there is an abbreviated breakfast until 9 AM. I went downstairs at 8:30, and was told that they were out of everything. Including coffee! Unbelievable. I told the room clerk, that this was unacceptable. I asked for the manager, and the manager was not there. I asked that the manager call me, and never heard a thing.

I paid almost $500 for two nights the first room they gave me I walked in and it was filthy dirty chair and sofa was ripped like I mean super ripped there was no phone to be able to call the front desk there was no iron as they said will be. The stuff was nice changed my room but was so so noisy hard to sleep the window was watching the highway and it was impossible to rest. I am not complaining about the stuff cause they were really nice but who ever is running this hotel if they want to charge expensive they need to renovate and actually put good windows to cancel as much noice is possible cause the highway

The odor of stale cigarette smoke was so bad, we could not stay the night. Did not like the skeevy chair in the room either.
