The property seemed rundown for a Marriott chain hotel. There was duct tape holding the carpet down at our room door. Breakfast was dismal, with only one option of cereal, some yogurt and bananas as quick easy options. The only thing to eat was waffles or stale eggs and sausage. The pool was being refilled apparently during our stay so it was not usable, which was disappointing to our kids. I would have liked to know this before booking the room, but it was not disclosed. One thing this hotel had going for it was that it was in a nice, safe area of Omaha and was tucked away from noisy streets or city centers.

Housekeeping never came by my room once in my 4 night stay. I have no issues re-using a towel, but it was pretty disappointing. The parking lot is riddled with potholes and frankly dangerous to drive through for fear of getting a flat tire. On the positive side, great location and plenty of food / shopping options nearby.

The hotel was nice and in a very nice area in West Omaha. It was dog friendly which we needed. The charge was $25 a night for pets.The breakfast had many hot and cold options and was delicious! There were nice areas to walk our dog near by. Only complaint is the pillows need to be replaced as too mushy. The mattress was perfect. We would stay here again:)

The facility was very good, the staff was good. Breakfast was average for hotels. Used the guest laundry. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer worked so had to do a load before checking out. But that was ok as I am an early riser! I wish the hotel had been closer to my activity but that is not the fault of the hotel!!

The in room, coffee maker would not work. The swimming pool was closed the entire time I was there. The shower was filthy, and I had to have the manager direct the cleaning of it. The breakfast was not good, powdered eggs, canned fruit, no waffles.

Check in was so easy and the staff were very friendly! The room was spotless and they had treats for my 2 dogs! I like the option that dog friendly rooms are near stairwells so we can go walk easily. Would stay again!

Check in was easy and we had no troubles. We headed up to our room and the TV was on making noises and the light in the bathroom was on. As we unpacked all of our items we started to notice how unclean the room really was. There was dog hair on the floor and one of us is allergic to dogs. There were also a few small brown hairs and a stain on one of the bed sheets. In the bathroom the floor was dirty, the counter showed fingerprints, the toilet paper was ripped, and there were many hairs in the bath tub and on the shower walls.

Our room smelled terribly of mildew or mold. I woke up sick. We only had one garbage can in the bathroom and no Kleenex. When I went downstairs to get blankets and sheets for the pull out bed she gave me a too small size.

Fairfield west Omaha Impressions bad: Hallway floor not vacuumed. Room not well vacuumed. Hairs on sheets. Small stains on pillows and sheets. Stains on towels. Bathroom not fully cleaned. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But, our room was minimally cleaned. The shower had mold in the corners and the shower doors had not been cleaned. There was only one towel, no liners in the waste baskets and the bedside tables had not been wiped down The property is nicely done but isn't adequately cleaned. Most likely this is due to lack of staff. We were in a first floor room near the rear exit. Unfortunately for us there were guests who repeatedly let the heavy door slam shut all during the night. I would suggest avoiding the first floor rooms unless you're a very heavy sleeper. We were traveling for a funeral and got an excellent price for a hotel in a safe part of town. The price of the room was probably lower due to it's location in the building. Lesson learned.

The Fairfield Inn in West Omaha was a good option for an overnight stay. It was a quick check in, the staff were nice, and the building was clean. The room was average. My only issue with it was that it smelled musky (or musty), like it was hot and humid or the A/C unit was too wet. The room was clean, and we had a comfortable night.

IMO - for this to be in the MARRIOTT hotel family, it wasn’t in the best condition. It really needs a remodel as it’s quite out-dated. We experienced SO MANY issues w/ this hotel. 1. Our room smelled MUSTY 2. They didn’t clean out the shower in our bathroom; there was hair in the drain from previous guests. 3. The phone in our room didn’t work. 4. The WIFI was TERRIBLE 5. The lobby/kitchenette where breakfast is served was NOT kept clean 6. The hallway floors at this hotel were in much need of being vacuumed our whole visit (3 days) 7. My daughter got locked out of our room & went to the front desk for help (and 11 year old). The receptionist wouldn’t help her; instead of asking for room # and trying to contact the adult my child was w/, she told her, “I can’t give you a key b/c your name isn’t on the room.” WHAAAATT!?? B/c of the location of this hotel, we assumed that it was going to be extremely nice and even maybe a bit luxurious. This hotel was literally in a neighborhood where there are million dollar homes. However, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. We will NEVER stay at this hotel ever again!

The property looks great on the outside. Rooms were small and a dated. Breakfast was skimpy and poor quality. (Instant eggs, weak gas station quality coffee). Elevators were loud. On the up side, not a lot of traffic during the week. For the money we should have looked at either Holiday Inn Express or Staybridge

This property is in a gorgeous upscale neighborhood and has many of the fine amenities you'd expect from a Marriott facility. But it only takes one crucial deficiency to ruin a stay, and we got it. Imagine a motel room with no working exhaust fan. In Nebraska. In August. There was strong evidence this was a defect known to staff. The doors were so swelled it took considerable effort to close them. By the end of our stay the room was so clammy that I looked to see if I could find condensation on the walls. Very uncomfortable.

Well first room TV didn’t work so we got a different room and that TV also didn’t work so we went to front desk and the guy helps get a different remote after an hour and a half we finally go TV to work not what we wanted we were tired

I really enjoyed our stay. The staff member that checked us in was fantastic. He got us in quickly then helped us with dinner choices. Was extremely courteous with all my questions. Young lady that helped at check out was upbeat and extremely nice.
I really enjoyed our stay. The staff member that checked us in was fantastic. He got us in quickly then helped us with dinner choices. Was extremely courteous with all my questions. Young lady that helped at check out was upbeat and extremely nice.

I had prepaid for my room and was charged the night before. Upon check-in, the host told me it was his first day. He asked for my credit card so I thought he was verifying my identity. He asked me to swipe my card for incidentals which I did but I had to swipe it twice and he charged me for the room again—even though I was prepaid. Since I was using a debit card, I received a bank notification that here were two charges on my card. Again, I said I had paid for the room and showed him the confirmation and the receipt. It was at this point he told me it was his first day and he’d get the manager. They claim to have removed the charges but it’s not off of my card as of this morning and I was told today it would be 3-5 days before there would be a refund. I don’t believe a person should be running the front desk on their first day with little to no training. It’s an inconvenience to have been charged twice for this room. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the parking area was well lit and safe. I just wish I wasn’t left on the hook for these charges.

IMO - for this to be in the MARRIOTT hotel family, it wasn’t in the best condition. It really needs a remodel as it’s quite out-dated. We experienced SO MANY issues w/ this hotel. 1. Our room smelled MUSTY 2. They didn’t clean out the shower in our bathroom; there was hair in the drain from previous guests. 3. The phone in our room didn’t work. 4. The WIFI was TERRIBLE 5. The lobby/kitchenette where breakfast is served was NOT kept clean 6. The hallway floors at this hotel were in much need of being vacuumed our whole visit (3 days) 7. My daughter got locked out of our room & went to the front desk for help (and 11 year old). The receptionist wouldn’t help her; instead of asking for room # and trying to contact the adult my child was w/, she told her, “I can’t give you a key b/c your name isn’t on the room.” WHAAAATT!?? B/c of the location of this hotel, we assumed that it was going to be extremely nice and even maybe a bit luxurious. This hotel was literally in a neighborhood where there are million dollar homes. However, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. We will NEVER stay at this hotel ever again!

My son and I stayed here for a few days attending baseball stuff and the CWS and were happy with our stay. The area is a ways out but very nice with lots of amenities. Just plan on spending 15-30 minutes driving anywhere. As a runner, I highly recommend. I found a network of running trails nearby that was great.

Very quiet area, across the road alot of dining and shopping. The access to get in and out of driveway is a one way. The parking lot could use some repairs. Ann at check-in did a great job. Pool was warm and refreshing. Breakfast was good. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved our room and the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. We were disappointed in the breakfast. They did not serve waffles as we were told they only served them on the weekend. The other food was not very warm, the bacon, sausages and omelets. I had to ask for a cinnamon roll twice before she finally brought out two for us.

We had a great experience all around. The king suite had a nice comfortable couch and two TVs and a nice large desk area. There was plenty of breakfast, and it was all very well done. Not just a continental breakfast, but scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, honeydew, melon, yogurt, bagels and muffins. We would definitely stay here again.

I had looked at several different hotels. I picked this one because they had breakfast and waffles. However the food was cold it was just scrambled eggs and sauage. Cold cereals was a choice as well. No waffles either day. We had trouble gettomg on wifi the phone in the room didnt work I needed a pen anyway so went down to front desk. I stood at the front desk for awhile and no one came out so I took a pen out of the pen cup they had and looked at the camera and mouthed i will return it. Had to wait till later that day to catch someone to help with the wifi.

The property seemed rundown for a Marriott chain hotel. There was duct tape holding the carpet down at our room door. Breakfast was dismal, with only one option of cereal, some yogurt and bananas as quick easy options. The only thing to eat was waffles or stale eggs and sausage. The pool was being refilled apparently during our stay so it was not usable, which was disappointing to our kids. I would have liked to know this before booking the room, but it was not disclosed. It was a bummer the breakfast was out of eggs and regular coffee 15 minutes after it opened. The one person was doing her best but the room wasn't cheap so we had higher expectations. I don't know if everybody ate right at 7am but there were a lot of people waiting for food. I also stayed at a Holiday Inn Express during this trip and the breakfast was much better.

Room was great. Though It was missing the air dryer that it took a while for them to get one. 4am Saturday I was sitting in the breakfast room. Noticed the floor had food on it that was from the day before and others were pointing out also. Tables and coffee stand area needed wiping off. Cover on the one bench seat was wasted. Breakfast wasn't ready until 7:35. Some customers left without and upset. Orange juice was more water than juice. I don't normally give bad reviews but I almost grabbed a rag and start cleaning but not my job. Smokers were outside both doors we went out couldn't avoid them.
