Staybridge Suites Omaha West by IHG

We stayed at Staybridge West Omaha on Oak, the stay was wonderful. We had an ADA suite that would have been better for us if there were a table and 3 chairs rather than the bar height counter and bar stools. Could have used a few more hooks in bathroom, and by entrance door. A wall clock would have been helpful, we are not techno and was not going to change time on phone to local time zone for such a short time, not to mention locating phone to check time. Due to your freeze and thaw issues there, the entrance area was kinda tore up and was bumpy for use of my cane, which made it a little unstable. Plus, we were there while a cable company was staying there as well and they were parking BIG honking work pick-up trucks and took up 1/4 to 1/3 of the parking spots nightly, many times after coming back to the hotel after dark we had to park down the hill or at the bank, NOT friendly to ADA people. I am not complaining, we loved staying at Staybridge an will do so again if we are able. One more thing, to have access to a recliner chair would have been excellent. Thanks for the memories. We were very happy to see that the hotel is super pet-friendly. They are VERY short-handed, however. Check-in was fine, but there is not always someone at the front desk (just an FYI). Our room was nice, but not happy with the cleanliness of the kitchen - I had to empty the dishwasher myself when we got there, there was only 1 glass in the kitchen, and the fridge-front and cabinet doors and handles were very dirty. The silverware tray had food dripped inside. It took me less than 5-minutes to wipe everything down and get the drips out of the silverware tray, but I should not have had to. There was a horrible smell in the hallway - one of the front-desk ladies went and sprayed, but it didn't help. By morning, the smell was gone, so beware - these are kitchenettes - someone may be cooking horrible smelling food and the hotel and you have no control over this. The hot tub at the pool was under repair (bummer, wish hotels would state this -this was part of the reason we booked here) and the pool deck had numerous used towels lying everywhere - on the ground, next to the pool, and on chairs/tables. Again, short staffed and messy customers. The breakfast was fantastic - something for everyone - hot, cold, sweet, savory - everyone could find something to eat for sure and Christy did a great job making sure all was clean and not sitting too long. Overall, when they are able to hire more staff, I'm sure things would be great. However, until that time, it's a bit unclean, messy, etc.

In town for the CWS. Love the kitchen/bedroom combo. Close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast had a good variety. Pool area a bit smaller then we would have preferred. Overall a good stay!

We booked our trip and seen there was a hot tub at the swimming pool. Many other hotels didn’t have a hot tub and to our disappointment the pool area must have been remodeled and they took the hot tub out of the area. Also, room smelt like spoiled milk when you stood by the dishwasher.

Clean property, friendly staff, and spacious rooms. Good location. Parking lot is small and hard to manage with larger vehicles like pickups.

The staff was so nice since we arrived had a great variety for the breakfast and the pool is amazing!

Breakfast choices outstanding. Both workers kept the food area clean and food dishes full. Coffee was strong but that is exactly how i like it. A snag happened with 1st room but the kind, sweet young lady put us in a different room immediately and apologized several times. We were upgraded to a king room suite from a queen so we appreciated that. The air smells so clean in the room and hallways. Would like to know how to get that same scent at home. 🙂 pool was clean, a little chilly for me as an adult but the grandkids didn't mind. Wecwill be back.

everything else was pretty good, except the pool water was kinda transparent yelllow after a bunch of kids went in that nyt, couldnt let my son in the pool the next day cuz ot looked like “naahhh”…

The only reason it was ok is because the people above us was stomping around until 12:30. Then started back up at 6:30...that was the worst. Also it could us a Hot Tub for some relaxation.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The room smelled like dog urine, and the ottoman was missing 2 wheels, making it difficult to move. The pull out couch was very worn and uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. The breakfast was very good and I enjoyed the coffee that was available at all hours. For the price that we paid, I think the room was lacking.

The staff were very friendly. I really liked that there was a kitchen in our room. However, The shower pressure was really low and the temperature wasn’t very hot. The bathroom walls were really dirty

Clean room, very spacious, staff was incredibly friendly, pool was a blast, and breakfast was delicious. We will def stay here again.

The suite was small and not clean. Everything was sticky (floors, counter, couch), the pans and plates were dirty, and there were crumbs all over and even an eaten peanut butter cup on the floor by the couch. The customer service was excellent, though.

Breakfast was great. Staff was great. But there was a hole in the ceiling in main living/bed area. Carpet could used replaced. Pool area was very nice but tempera good be just a couple degrees higher.

We stayed here for one night on our way home from Colorado. The room was very clean. We stayed in the 2 bedroom king suite with 2 double beds, 2 bathrooms, a living area and full kitchen. Lots of space to spread out. Worked great when traveling with kids being able to have separate spaces. The breakfast was fantastic with a yogurt bar with toppings, fruit with whipped cream, bacon, eggs, potatoes and waffles. There was also the usual toast, bagel, english muffin but they were all individually wrapped. Would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay again if we make our way back to CO.

Our stay was wonderful. We went Omaha for a weekend getaway with our kids, shopping, etc. The area is nice with a lot of fast food and shopping nearby. Our room was clean and spacious , the beds were comfy, and the staff was really friendly. The gal who checked us on Friday was also working Saturday night and she was just so nice and fun! We will stay here again.

Poor water pressure in the shower, and tv is outdated, no option allowing to sign into any streaming service. Would’ve brought a laptop had I known. All in all good stay, kind staff.

The bed was very comfortable, clean sheets and towels. It was quiet, our room was close to the elevator and the breakfast was good.

Difficult internet and no bath mat

The property was good. The guest above me was VERY loud and it was clear he was with a company that was staying there. I can only describe it as staying below Frankenstein.

The bathroom needed some updates. The rest of the room was fine. Breakfast was a little late getting started.

Girl behind the desk on rhe evening of 2/21 was rude and was more interested to talking to her visiting friend. I shouldn't have to stand in front of the tv to get the remote to work.

The only issue we had was that there was a mix-up where they were going to charge me again for my stay when I'd already paid in full through hotels.com when I made the reservation. But that got resolved. Was a bit of a hassle I'd have preferred to do without, but they took care of it and it was fine. Everything else was great.

It's now my go to hotel in Omaha. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The area is packed full of shopping and dining opinions to choose from as well. Rooms was very nice and easy to locate.

The staff was extremely helpful & very accommodating. They went above & beyond for our family for my daughter's wedding weekend. I would recommend Staybridge Suites to anyone. The rooms are spacious & it felt as if we were staying in an upscale apartment for a very affordable rate. Thank you, Staybridge Suites!!! We are very impressed & will be returning.

Hotel was nice, quiet, close to food and a grocery store. Staff was very friendly. Every area we entered was clean. Pet friendly which was nice as we traveled with our dog. Will stay here again when in Omaha!

We booked a small suite to attend a wedding--which was perfect. My daughter was not spending the night in Omaha but needed a place to change before the wedding--perfect! Also nice meeting areas near the lobby. Jams Legacy Restaurant was our rehearsal dinner venue and is right across the street. Easy walking/driving to multiple shopping areas. Great front desk smiles and advice! Clean rooms. An outstanding stay. Oh! And the breakfasts are outstanding: eggs, bacon, salsa, cheese, yogurt, fruit, and more!

It was clean and friendly place to stay for our family. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic. The yogurt bar and fresh fruit were our favorite but everything else was excellent!
