I have stayed at this resort many times. This week was especially crowded given it was a holiday. The management team did a good job maintaining and entertaining the crowds. We love the pool DJ. There were a couple of instances where there weren’t towels available for our room, which is to be expected due to the full capacity. The bar staff both inside and outside are always great. The food in the coastal grill is by far better than black drum. The margarita pizza I had at the embassy was superb and far exceeded expectations. Also the onion rings are the best on the beach so kudos to the coastal grill staff!! We have never had a good experience with food at the black drum. However the atmosphere and presence is appealing to resort guests. The outside area of the embassy is well maintained and feels very upscale…BUT…the pool bathrooms are disgusting and have a terrible smell we won’t use them, and have NEVER used them in the two years we’ve been coming. There are no showers or foot washing stations near the pool. The only place to wash anything off is at the beach entrance. Unfortunately there are only 2 water hoses there. No shower. So if there is a line for using those, people just bypass it altogether and go straight to the pool to “rinse off”. This is NOT good. The pool gets filthy fast with the large crowds and excessive sunscreen wearers. Not to mention all the sand. Please add rinsing stations near the pool. Lastly there aren’t nearly enough chairs by the pool.

Embassy Suites was nice enough for a family vacation. The pool and water park for kids were excellent. Literally something for all ages to be entertained. The poolside food and bar was over priced and very limited. The breakfast buffet was great but not enough variety for kids (pork bacon only; no strawberries/grapes/bananas/thick dry waffles most days/etc.). We ate out at Drift & Blueberry most mornings. Some room renovations but cheap paint job chipping on balcony, tub, etc. Nothing to ruin the stay. Can’t beat beach front location and daily complimentary happy hour.

Great beach location. Black Drum restaurant was nice. Elevator broke down 4 days dueing our week linf stay. Pool was shut down due to over chlorination. Pool was nice but extremely crowded. Included breakfast was nice, cocktail reception drunks were good, snack were terrible. Staff was very courteous.

Limited food options on site but close to all the popular area restaurants. The hotel was very clean, very nice staff, lots of amenities. The only feedback I would give is the pool should stay open until 10p like the Hilton. On vacation, it’s nice to swim later in the evening after the sun is not as intense.

The hotel property was very nice and breakfast was excellent. One thing that could be better is the cleanliness around the pool area. Trash was overflowing and guests would leave food around their chairs. Besides waitresses didn’t see anyone picking up during the day. Also, hot tub was cold all week.

The renovation at Embassy Suites are outstanding. We love the new pool and kids area. We are ate the Coastal Currents Restaurant inside the hotel and the food was delicious and great quality cuts of meat with great sides. We also ordered some food from the Blackdrum and that was good as well and offered a nice atmosphere for a date night. Overall the resort is beautiful, safe, and convenient to the main Myrtle Beach Attractions. I strongly recommend if you’re looking for a more relaxed, quiet, and safe resort in North Myrtle Beach.

Our family reunion between 4 brothers went great. It’s a very nice property located in the Kingston Plantation with plenty of amenities included. Separate gym short walk away, pickleball & tennis courts, full breakfast, and 2 drinks per day per person during happy hour. Plus parking is free. Only con was that the bathroom where the toilet and shower was small but can live with. Don’t wait, book now!

This is the dirtiest and filthiest hotel room we’ve ever stayedin Given it’s a Hilton Brand! Stains are everywhere in the room, carpet, sofa bed, chairs. Hair on the bath tub, dirty tile grouts. See pictures for reference! The only positive here are check in and check out was smooth! Pool amenities is good. Other than that, definitely will not comeback at this hotel! And the fact you have to pay resort and parking fees that was never stated here.

Property is fantastic. Location and layout were perfect. The only issue holding this property back is the overall sense that it needs a deep cleaning. The floorboards were dirty and dusty, the bathroom door had some coffee spills on it, and the heating lamps in the omelette line at breakfast had a fair amount of dust hanging off. That being said, I would still stay at this property again. Staff was outstanding, breakfast options were awesome and hot, and the cocktail hour was a really nice touch. Property is well lit and parking is super simple.

The room was gross! Carpet had stains, the furniture was old and stained, painting chipping off the walls and railing o n the balcony. Shower had hair in it. Lines outside the elevators anytime you needed to use one (10-15min wait). Rooms definitely need renovation (room 1204).

Excellent staff and services. But, I expected more from the cleaning. The bathroom a crack, not cleaned enough. They are some dirty in the corner of the bathroom, never seen in any hotel before. They have shampoo in the bottle, but no hair conditioner. I realize that after shampooing. My hair was hard to managing. The staff at this resort hotel were very friendly and helpful. The entire site seemed especially cleanly, including the beach. The one complaint I had was rectified immediately. There are plenty of amenities, including a coffee shop (the with Starbucks coffee), a couple restaurants, bars, gift shops, pools, easy beach access, and free breakfast buffet every morning. The biggest issue I had with this location was the fact that there were only 3 elevators for the entire building, and staying on the 20th floor was a significant hassle to go up or down - especially since the staircase only led to the 3rd floor or outside. If you wanted to go to the lobby, you had to take elevator down from the 3rd floor. There were a few minor issues like the toilet paper roll holder being very loose in the wall (which was annoying), and the very strange sound at night that sounded like a wood chipper chipping wood every 5 minutes for thirty seconds. All night. Every night. Also, the television only seemed to have a few channels and we couldn’t figure out how to find pay-per-view options. Smart phone TVs or fire sticks would be a nice option. All around, though, it was a very lovely stay and we enjoyed it!

Location: 5 stars Beach is right behind the hotel. There is an elevator at the backside. So it's easy to get to your room after you are done with the beach. Breakfast: 5 stars Breakfast was excellent with made to order omelet station. Pool: 4 stars. The kids absolutely loved the water slides and had a blast! However, there were very few chairs available around the kiddie pools, and these were often taken early in the morning. Additionally, the chairs in that area didn't have umbrellas, leaving no shaded spots to sit and watch the children if you weren't in the water. Check-in process: 5 stars We were able to check-in online which had the option to choose the room and floor which was cool. Room: 3 stars The view from our room was beautiful, offering a lovely sight of the beach, pier, and the pools. I would have given a five-star rating, but the bathroom was cramped, similar to a motel. We also found the shampoo and conditioner bottles to be empty, and the toilet seat had stains. While I understand this might be acceptable for some locations, I was surprised to find this at a four-star resort. I've stayed at three-star Embassy Suites in other locations that had much larger bathrooms. The gym being in a separate building was inconvenient. In the laundry room, there was no sink, and one dryer (the one with the broken switch) turned on, but did not dry clothes.

While we found the hotel in a great location, I was disappointed in where our room was located. I requested a room with balcony and ocean view, we were given a room on the 6th floor over the dining room. While the view was awesome and we did get a balcony. The AC or exhaust system from the dining area was so loud you really could not sit outside to enjoy the view. Those units ran for 24 hours never shutting off. Just terrible! Someone should go check it out and resolve that for others.

I booked the King Suite Ocean front on the fourth floor and I was highly satisfied! The only complaints I have are the fees (which of course I should’ve been aware of in the fine print but the fees are of course not my cup of tea) and the toilet which was loose from the floor. Over all stay was pleasant and my floor was pretty quiet. Staff was friendly.

Unfortunately, the Embassy Suites Resort at Myrtle Beach was not a good experience. I would not recommend staying here. I am typically understanding but the service was one of the worst I have ever experienced. I had two guests that I invited along with me and I feel bad for choosing this resort as they felt the same. After waiting in a very long line to check in, we were told we could not check in over an hour past check in time because the staff was behind. Staff was very rude and had very little urgency or enthusiasm seemingly very burnt out and unhappy. Several times it was even vocalized to us. The poolside bar was closed even when it wasn’t raining. The hotel amenities are not as advertised or worth the resort pricing. The hotel elevators could not handle the volume of guests or was having issues because we waited 15 min or more in long lines most times that we used it. The restaurant onsite was disorganized as well underrepresenting wait times and telling guests that there weren’t enough umbrellas to seat people outside even after they waited long periods of time on a waitlist.

Very disappointing stay at Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach. The “ocean view” balcony was unusable due to loud machinery noise, the property feels old and outdated, and the front desk service was unprofessional with no follow-up or apology regarding my room change request. On top of that, my room keys failed multiple times at night, and even the hallway emergency phone did not work, which is a serious safety concern. For the price paid, this hotel fell far below Hilton standards.

We had a phenomenal time at the Embassy Suites! Our room was clean, and the view was amazing. Staff member Oren (OJ), was very friendly and provided incredible service. He went out of his way to make sure our anniversary trip was special. I would’ve rated our stay higher but we were charged twice for our dinner. There was a new waiter who was being trained during dinner and they charged us twice for our meal. When we realized we were double charged the next day, we asked the restaurant staff about it. The manager (Meghan) stated that she would look into it and call us back. We have yet to receive a call or notification about the extra charge. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed our trip.

My daughter got stuck on an elevator, and I was unable to contact the front desk from an outside phone. I am still trying to contact the property from an outside phone to contact the front desk and it’s impossible to get them on the phone. First impressions, the check-in was very disjointed. Although I was able to show email confirmation that my booking was for a King Oceanview suite I was told that since I booked through Expedia the letter assigned to my booking would not be Full Oceanview but partial ocean view. I offered the option to upgrade which I declined because it was like double paying. I was then informed that I would have to pay to check in early which was something new to me as I have never paid early to check in. I realized that this Embassy Suites was a part of a retreat and that explained the circus affect around the experience. Thanks to Delores giving exceptional customer service despite all of the confusion around the room I was able to pre-check which was not offered by first front desk agent. I finally got into my partial ocean view room a view hours later. Rudeness and Indifference was the theme with of course the exception and not the rule of a few professional employees Delores at the front desk, and Carol the concierge station along with the entire staff at the hotel restaurant Coastal Grill Cafe! Tiffany was at the front desk the morning of the 6th of August was extremely unhelpful borderline rude and flat out lied when asked the name of Bell Man. Tiffany did not display the professionalism or customer service expected for an Embassy Suites brand. Jason the Bell Man also lack professionalism. I would not stay here or recommend this property.

AC couldn’t keep up. Elevators are too busy because of all the condos and other hotels allowed access. The first night there was a rotten smell, the room wasn’t ready for us after check in time, and they did not clean the pull out couch. It had crackers in there. 3 hours later at 10 pm they came up to clean. The guy pulled off the dirty sheets only, left the mattress cover on, didn’t vacuum the crackers or clean it.

Everything was fine until I found out that I have to pay for the amenities(include and the outside activities) and parking. Parking I’m OK normally with other hotels- don’t charge for the parking until you get there and you check out, but but having to pay for the amenities, which is $40 a night is too much it should’ve been included in the booking price already. The housekeeping was terrible. I would ask them daily to vacuum… one day I asked them to clean my room because my room wasn’t cleaned our beds weren’t made and it wasn’t vacuumed. All they did was take out the trash and leave the rest on me which I find it very abnormal, I thought I booked a five star hotel with housekeeping included—not an Airbnb where I would’ve done it myself.. when I checked in the front desk clerk was rude and uninformative. Rooms are clean and spacious. Sliding doors did not lock but our room was up so high, we were not worried about that. Employees were friendly and helpful. Very nice buffet breakfast and evening receptions. Pool is large and has a kids play area and waterslides. Will definitely be back.

We went during the off season so it was much quieter. Fantastic views of the ocean from our balcony. We did have an issue though. Our room was located on the left side of the building and from the 9th floor we could hear a loud screeching noise coming from an air handler on the roof of the attached conference center. It was so loud you could hear it through the windows. I called down to the front desk to ask them if it was possible we could move rooms and was immediately told that would be an upcharge. I asked why that would be an upcharge and how much that would cost then the lady suddenly says there is a room available on the 6th floor. Front desk people need additional customer service training. Thankfully that was the only issue we had. Some of the outdoor furniture around the pool was in need of repairs. The included breakfast was good. Overall a nice hotel with fantastic oceanfront views.

So if there is a line for using those, people just bypass it altogether and go straight to the pool to “rinse off”. This is NOT good. The pool gets filthy fast with the large crowds and excessive sunscreen wearers. Not to mention all the sand. Please add rinsing stations near the pool. Lastly there aren’t nearly enough chairs by the pool.

My stay was perfect — everything about it was great and definitely worth the money. The beach and ocean views were stunning, and the spa was very relaxing. Everything felt well-maintained and comfortable. The breakfast is the only area that could use a bit of improvement. Most of the buffet items were a little bland and not hot enough, though the omelettes were delicious. The grits could use a longer cooking time and a bit more seasoning, and all buffet items would benefit from being served hotter. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

We had a great time. The property is on the beach and all rooms can see the ocean and have balcony. The restaurant is good and the Brewer Restaurant is also next door. We loved the breakfast too. It was a great quick getaway for my wife and I.

Trip to get some R and R. The location is nice and the pool area was great. However breakfast was not good. Most of the food was cool and staff seemed more worried about cleaning up than servicing the guest. Happy Hour was also disappointing because the drink selection was bad. Only had two beers. We stayed at Embassy in Charlotte and everthing was great. Not sure we will stay here again.

Embassy Suites was nice enough for a family vacation. The pool and water park for kids were excellent. Literally something for all ages to be entertained. The poolside food and bar was over priced and very limited. The breakfast buffet was great but not enough variety for kids (pork bacon only; no strawberries/grapes/bananas/thick dry waffles most days/etc.). We ate out at Drift & Blueberry most mornings. Some room renovations but cheap paint job chipping on balcony, tub, etc. Nothing to ruin the stay. Can’t beat beach front location and daily complimentary happy hour.

We enjoyed our weekend here. The property was in a great location and had free breakfast and a nice cocktail hour. The restaurant on site was very good also. We would come back and recommend.

This is a Great resort on the ocean, if you want poolside chairs with umbrellas, be ready to go at 9 AM and mark your territory! Otherwise, you might be waiting a while to get a shaded spot. There were people in line as early as 8 AM while we were staying waiting an hour to make sure they got their spot. Breakfast is excellent and the food options for dinner and lunch are great. Staff is excellent.

Everything was perfect! Food was great, the only thing I would prefer more options on breakfast, we stay 4 days and the only thing they change was waffles for French toast, but everything was the same. I mean it was delicious but you got tired of eating the same thing four days in a row.
