I love this hotel. It’s new and modern .the views are beautiful and the room was excellent. I used the pools first thing in the morning and the beach later. The pool has pool parties which are for a younger generation but it was lively and looked fun. I enjoyed the quiet morning swimming and the spa pool area.

This hotel had the fun luxury vibes I was looking for and did not disappoint! The pool parties, the restaurants and the night clubs were all vibes! It is a stunning hotel and the balcony views are amazing! I celebrated my birthday at the hotel and was hoping for an upgrade to a suite, but that did not happen! :( Overall, I really think the hotel could have done more to make my birthday feel a bit more special. Also, requesting pick up from the hotel through Uber can be challenging due to the routing to get to the area/hotel. Those were my only critiques, but I would definitely stay here again! It was a near perfect hotel to celebrate a birthday! :)

The hotel itself and the rooms are good, but if you're hoping for a quiet, relaxing weekend by the pool, then this is not the right hotel for you. Loud pool parties on Saturdays and Sundays start at around 1 pm and last till the evening. Both pools are packed and you can barely find a good spot. If you're a party animal, then this is your place. If not, then definitely consider another hotel in the area (there are plenty).

The hotel was great overall, and the customer service stood out—staff were very friendly and helpful. However, we stayed for two nights and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the pool. The pool area was always crowded, and the chairs were taken quickly, so there was no space whenever we tried to go. Another small issue: we left the “Make Up Room” sign on the phone before heading out for the day, but when we returned, the room hadn’t been cleaned. When we called for extra toilet paper, the staff seemed surprised the room hadn’t been serviced—but someone came shortly after and took care of it. The only regret is not being able to enjoy the pools. It was a one-time stay, maybe next time we’ll stay closer to the marina.

My stay was very pleasant. Staff was excellent. Room was very clean. So much to do at this hotel.

After nine exhausting hours at the airport and dealing with constant harassment, our arrival experience was already stressful—but what really shocked us was finding someone else’s underwear by our tub. It was disturbing and hard to unsee. Yes, we received a free dinner, but that didn’t make up for the atmosphere. This place is definitely not for romance—it caters more to one-night stands than to couples seeking a quiet, luxurious weekend. Although the room itself looked nice, it was never peaceful. Noise was constant—sometimes blasting music, other times drunken guests disturbing the halls. And the strangest, most distasteful detail: in the same room was a Quran, prayer directions, and a set of 3 condoms. The combination was offensive and deeply unsettling. Just in case you want to pray after … If you’re single and want to party, maybe this is for you. But for couples looking for comfort, luxury, or serenity—I strongly do not recommend it.

This property absolutely exceeded our expectations! The staff is super friendly, the view is GORGEOUS and it’s so clean!

Showergel was very thin/ watery. 3 the tile grout in the shower was not looking clean 4 long waiting for warm water in the evening. 5 Bluetooth speaker isn’t working for the bathroom speakers. 6 light dimmer was not working. We had only bright light. Room number 11001

A/C not working , bed was awful , the R painting and the smell was bad

We stayed for one week in one of the hotels private apartments - which was lovely. Five hotel itself is lively and a party destination. When we checked into the hotel for an extra 2 days stay - we asked for a late checkout, as our flight was 01.00 the following morning. We were charged an extra half day for this, despite telling them that we are Gold members at Hotels.com - their reply was “We don’t have anything to do with Hotels.com and we don’t give upgrades or late checkout free of charge” The room was classed as Premium - sea-view - we were over the entrance lobby and parking area - with a sideways partial view of the sea. In the room, most of the electrical sockets didn’t work, the toilet seat was loose and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very small and cramped for 2 people. The hotel really needs to pay more attention to the working conditions and maintenance checks on a regular basis. Definitely not 5 Star!! On to the good parts: There is a small pool above the gym - which is lovely - with FREE double bed pods, giving shade. The food there is great quality and reasonable. Maiden Shanghai is the hotel’s Chinese restaurant - it is fabulous - probably better than most of the top London Chinese restaurants!!! So good- we ate there 3 times in 10 days! Other restaurants in the hotel are also first class, as is the top floor nightclub. Staff and service are very good.

We gave a two star rating only because it is unbelievable that as an international destination this hotel does not offer English channels on their TV. There were only Arabic channels and staff could not help us. This is a big issue when you are staying many days. The hotel excelled in all other areas and was a lot of fun.

I loved my stay here! The hotel is amazing! The rooms are spacious and grand and the entire property felt luxurious. I loved the pool and beach club access too! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Very noisy nights. The noise from the entrance of the hotel is bad. Cara honking and reving. The area around the pool isn’t that organized.

One of the staff members was quite insistent on not allowing my wife to check in because she had forgotten her ID. Despite explaining that I could have someone bring the ID later, the staff member was firm in saying "no," which felt a bit unaccommodating and unpleasant. Fortunately, after speaking with the manager, the situation was resolved smoothly. He was very helpful and ensured that we were checked in without any further issues. He also arranged for the ID to be submitted in 2hrs which we did. Overall, despite this small setback, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning. The hotel itself is fantastic, and the manager's assistance really turned things around for us.

Asked for a twin room and got a room with 2 single beds - was expecting two doubles - bedding did not fit properly. Rooms on the front are very noisy - think cars all night doors banging and revving engines - we were on the first floor Lot of other guests coming back late banging doors and thumping music - not the hotesl fault. Not restful but staff were lovel

Love this place. Great service

Hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately I had a 3pm check in and wasn’t allowed to get into my room until almost 6pm. Kinda unfortunate when I paid $1000 for a night and couldn’t even enjoy the full time I had paid for. Would definitely stay again as it’s a staple in Dubai but I wish they would have my room ready when they said it was ready

Concierge is misleading about excursions. Eager to book lackadaisical in living up to the promises

Everything was great but they don’t give your privacy I put my room on Do not disturb and put the sign out yesterday, after arriving from late night flight, we went to sleep very late / early morning but they ended up calling my room and waking us up. When asked they simply just said they wanted to clean the room. It is absolutely ridiculous. Even today on the day of my check out I had requested for late checkout they ended up calling me at 11:00 am and waking me up. They are not sorry about it either and said I have 1 hour to check out!

Check-in was great. I left my phone in the taxi and the security guy in front of the hotel door helped me to get my phone back. After I checked in my room, 30 mins later a hotel staff knocked on my door and said he would like to refill the snack bar and had a small pringles can in his hand. I told him to go ahead. After about 1 hour, another staff knocked at my door and said if I needed extra towels. I told him I just checked into the room and don\'t need it. A little bit later, I get a phone call from a hotel staff asking me if there are any water leaks in the bathroom. I told them none that I see. I peeked out the door peephole and I saw a hotel staff wandering around in front of my room. I asked him why are they spying on me. He made an excuse and said, "Oh, the next-door guest left without paying." What nonsense. Everyone pays via credit cards upon check-in and they charge a deposit also. I felt a violation of my privacy and I checked out the same day around 11 pm. What a waste of money.

I did not appreciate the fact i was given misleading information that the security deposit 1000AED/300.18USD taken when i checked into my room 107110 was not returned immediately and i had to call several days after checking out to discover Five Palms plans to hold on to my money for 14-21days when i have left Dubai They did not send any email to confirm their intentions to hold on tomy money,it is extremely off putting

This property is super lively & trendy. The room was beautiful. The location was perfect, very close to hot spots. Definitely an upscale/ hip crowd. Would highly recommend!

Definitely a property not for families with kids… it is a party place, the pool area is buzzing from an early morning. Clean, new rooms, great views. I traveled with a friend and we loved it. Great Italian restaurant, right next to the promenade that can take you to the beach, any other hotel nearby, or to the dozens of restaurants and beach clubs along it.

Place was clean, employees professional, good choices of restaurants, plenty of taxis, car services. 30 minutes or so from the Dubai Mall by car but local shops and stores are plentiful.

The five-palm is the epitome of luxury! I enjoyed the quick check-in process and also the attention to detail in the room. My only feedback is the breakfast service. I understand the staff is trying to accommodate a lot of ppl at once but I would prefer my beverage be brought to me vs the self-serve option its a bit much trying to bring both your meal and drink to the table at once. Also, it's a bit frustrating when you've already sat down and asked for water, and instead of being brought a glass, u are directed to where u can find it yourself. Beyond that my stay at the five palm was very pleasurable

The food was amazing!!!! Hotel is very clean. The only thing I didn’t like is if you purchase an all inclusive package, you could only have 3 meals a day and if you didn’t like that dinner then you can’t go to a different restaurant. The other thing is that the penthouse, your last all inclusive drink must be at 10pm!!

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Balcony gave us a view of the City and ocean 💙

This is one of the best hotels in Dubai...only problem is the breakfast buffet recycles the same food day after day. They don't change anything nor have options.

first off the lobby stinks smells very bad and I got FOOD POISONING from the hotels breakfast and I was sick all day throwing up on Saturday wasted my whole Saturday on vacation because they had contaminated food and had poison me. I had the worst experience staying there. I’m very upset and they need to do a better job. They touch the food without wearing gloves people scratch their ass and pick their nose and touch the food. The facility was horrible. Overall, the facility did not feel like a luxury hotel experience at all. The service, cleanliness, and food safety all felt far below the standard you should expect at a five-star property. I left feeling upset, disappointed, and honestly shocked that a hotel of this reputation could deliver such a poor experience. I truly hope the management takes hygiene and food safety more seriously, because based on my stay, there is a lot that needs improvement. Stay somewhere else and save yourself!
