The Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh

Hotel is nice new and clean. Breakfast could be better..... But is very decent they could really use a swimming pool. Its connected to the casino which has a 24hr starbucks! Which is a big plus. And the hotel is near alot of cool things. I give this place an A

Great atmosphere. Loved the outdoor seating area and the ability to drink while enjoying the view. Wish the bar delivered outside and that there were more food options to deliver to that area. A major negative was the smell of smoke throughout the hotel. Cigar and cigarettes.

I would give the hotel itself 5-stars for the room and breakfast, but the 1-star rating is for the walking and self-parking logistics for a family that are not gamblers, nor smokers, and contained a member who has difficulty walking. We picked this for the price, rating, and location convenient for our travels. Convenience ended once we arrived, as parking and getting into the hotel was painful. The main intended entrance puts you just outside the casino and then requires a walk down a very long hallway to the hotel's check-in desk. This would have bothered me less if this area didn't reek of cigarette smoke as soon as the sliding doors opened. I felt so bad for the staff that they have to work in such unhealthy conditions. There's no direct hotel entrance without a room key, and to use it, we had to park with flashers on in a turn-lane just short of a pedestrian crossing as there isn't even pullover area other than the curb itself. The location of the parking almost sent me over the edge. It is obvious they want you to use their free valet parking, but we arrived late and needed to drive to dinner after check-in since the facility only had a burger place and it was in the casino. I self-parked, took the elevator down (with some remaining luggage), only to find it dumps you into the far side of casino and they don't allow luggage on the casino floor. Needed to take elevator back up and then hike down 7 floors of the under-21 stairwell with bags. Hotel is nice; logistics suck!

Hotel and staff were great. Self Parking was a nightmare because of the lack of signs letting you know where you should park for the hotel. Use Valet!!

I did not like having to walk through the casino to get to my room or the parking garage. Parking was very far unless you use valet and that is inconvenient. The casino allows smoking which was very surprising to me and a big turnoff because even after I discovered that it was smoky I had to walk through the odor and fumes with my luggage. When I returned from my event late at night I was looking forward to eating because I knew a casino is 24/7 but every single restaurant was closed. I went back to my room and discovered even the room service was closed. Very disappointing and not even a vending machine to get anything to eat was in sight. I would not recommend staying here nor would I ever return.

Hotel was awesome! The Casino was disgusting. Getting to parking required a walk through the Smokey casino or up four flights of filthy outdoor stairs. Loved the hotel and staff.

Beautiful hotel!! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The free valet service made checking in a breeze. The buffet style hot breakfast was nice, we ate outside with river views. We were in town for a show, so only walked through the casino for a late night bite to eat, but it was nice too.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable. You can’t beat the convenience…just steps from Acrisure Stadium…and the free parking is a huge plus. If you don’t mind the smoke, you can place some bets, grab a bite, or catch a game at one of the sports bars in the casino next door. To be clear, the hotel did not smell of smoke.

Dining options are limited although they list several restaurants . Open late evening certain days . Room service only comes from the “ burger” spot. No buffet. No shops. No added offers , no spa. Room is clean & comfortable. We’ve been everywhere, does not rise to the level of an inclusive casino.

Hotel is nice and clean. Great location. Free valet parking was nice but a little slow sometimes. The hotel bar was good, and the weather was perfect for grabbing a cocktail and sitting outside by the river. Breakfast buffet looked fantastic, but didn't taste as good as it looked. Very bland.

The room was clean with a nice view of the river. Valet was free which was nice because I had my kiddo and would’ve had to keep doing 4 flights of stairs because of the casino! Staff was super friendly and breakfast was great.

On arrival room seemed dirty with hairs on top of sink. As a registered party of 4 our towels were replenished with only 3. I always had to call front desk for xtra towel. Also The room smelled very musty and towels had an unpleasant smell. I’m not sure what cheap detergent this place uses but they need to switch to a better one!!!

Not a great experience at all. The Staff was friendly and helpful but the room was a different story. The room wasn't cleaned very well, there were some pretty gross looking stains on the bathroom walls, the overall cleanliness of the bathroom was what you'd expect at a $60/night motel.. Breakfast was alright, not the best, the property outside was nice, seating area overlooking the river. Would not stay here again, would not recommend. We chose this location due to close proximity to a concert venue, mistake on our part.

Room and hallways smelled like brand new. Maybe the cleanest bathroom in a hotel room that I have experienced. They do a great job of keeping the cigarette smoke smell limited to the casino.

We were shocked at how clean and beautiful the hotel was. The cheaper price had us concerned, but room had us in awe. The river view was amazing, the breakfast was good, and the rooms were flawless.

Pubic hair on the bedding. Sticking substance entire bathroom floor. Noisy neighbors late at night. TV/cable down throughout entire stay

Had a great view (windows not tinted/blind from below tho just fyi…) and awesome nights sleep. Breakfast was disappointing and we didn’t eat much. Overall the stay was quiet and clean. Limited tv so bring your apple box/cord.

Breakfast was very good and lots of options. The hotel was clean and modern, except we couldn't regulate the thermostat in our room (which we mentioned at checkout) and the fan was very loud. The temperature was good so it wasn't terrible. All in all it was a good stay!

Room was excellent! King suite with so many different amenities. Great water view! Very very nice!!

Nice hotel at a great location. You could entertain some friends before a game or just chill and watch the river traffic from your suite. We enjoyed the river side view from our suite. Yes it was very quiet but not very dark at night. Bring your sleeping mask if you are sensitive. Automatic night light in the bathroom was a nice touch.

Really poor service and unwelcoming.

I was very pleased with the ease of check-in and the room that I had booked. The breakfast was plentiful and constantly restocked and the lobby bartenders were always pleasant and attentive. Whenever I needed a hot beverage after breakfast was over, the front desk was more than happy to provide me one. The valet was very convienent and everyone there always had a smile on their face. I did not require turn down service during my 4 day stay but when I asked to get fresh towels and washcloths, housekeeping promptly exchanged my used items. Also, I asked for a set of extra blankets for my family member and the front desk had them sent right up. The food we ordered from The Wheelhouse Restaurant was big portioned, tasty and affordable. Overall, I had a great experience at The Landing Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA.

The staff in the morning at the buffet were great, alway has a smile and willing to help. When we checked in the front staff were not as friendly.

I liked the atmosphere. My only complaint is the valet. Everyone's check out is at the same time 11am. So when we were waiting for valet there was about 20-30 people in front of us. We had to wait in the lobby a while.

We waited an hour and a half to check in (ultimately stepped out of line and checked in at 8:30pm) and asked for an hour late check out and was denied.

Rooms are nice and clean. Front desk clerk was less than friendly. i would recommend the facility, but the staff here is not friendly. Very unfortunate. Last time I was here about a year ago the staff was very friendly. Almost as if they hate their job.

Everything was good with the exception of the front desk workers and staff. I found them to be unapproachable and robotic.

From check-in to check-out our stay was hasle free and very enjoyable. I will stay there again for future trips.

My stay at the Landing Hotel was lovely. Hotel staff were kind and friendly and the room was clean, and updated. This hotel is conveniently located for sporting events and concerts. The walkable North Shore area is worth the trip to Pittsburgh alone.

Location of the hotel by the river and on the trail. Also PNC Stadium is a beautiful walk with lots of dining choices, all walkable.

Everything was as expected. Nice view of the river from our room! Just wish there was a restaurant available that my family could have eaten at though.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Disappointed that there was not an easy way to buy drinks and snacks. Food offerings were just OK, but all located in the casino.

Location a little far to the T. Walking to the T was a lot of uneven ground. Had no milk for breakfast and food could use improvement.The room was nice and spacious. Great Bathroom. I think the Landing could offer complimentary water and coffee through out the day and early evening . The walking path was beautiful, but the kitchen on wheels really is an eye sore to the property at the river.

The parking is not easy, the self parking don’t conect to the hotel only to the casino and is not allow to cross the casino with luggage. Breakfast was between 6-10:30am. We get there at 9 and nothing was available.
