Wyndham was beautiful. The staff was excellent, the accommodations were perfect!! highly recommend. The only downside was that the parking was $40/day and they double charged me for the parking but that was fixed with a few phone calls. Otherwise the visit was perfect!

The hotel was beautiful, with an excellent pool area, direct beach access, and phenomenal staff. Everything was pristine and the restaurants and room service were all delicious. I have 3 complaints. The ONLY parking for the hotel is valet and it's $40 per day (ouch). That said, the valet service was on point. Complaint #2 is that for a higher end hotel I would have expected better beds. My mattress was obviously reeeeally old. It was so broken down it was like sleeping in a pit. Complaint #3 is that there was only one set of elevators and I'm not sure if there was a maintenance issue during my stay or what, but EVERY time you were waiting 5-10 minutes just for the elevator to come to your floor. This resulted in long lines of people just waiting to use them at peak times. Super frustrating. All in all though, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

We loved our stay at Wyndham Clearwater. The room was upscale and clean with a great view. The only deduction I'll give our room is that the tub drained really slow. But not a huge deal for us. The only other thing is I wish there were more elevators as in the tower we stayed, only three elevators serve 16 floors, so you had to wait a longer than average when needing an elevator. I'm sure this varies based on the season. The beach is literally across the street. The complementary chair and umbrella were a plus. The pool is really nice as well and the staff does a great job at making sure chairs aren't taken hostage by people that don't use them, so it wasn't too hard to find a spot whenever we went. Overall, we loved our time at Wyndham Clearwater and would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel in a prime position with most things in walking distance. Room was large and clean. Guests were a mixture of families and couples. Daily service charge high, but same for most similar hotels and unfortunately valet only which is also a high daily rate. That said, we walked most places and didn’t use the car most days.

You MUST Valet, no other choice and pay the $35-$40 fee. That was a bummer. And the no save pool chair rule was pretty funny. They put tags on the chairs of people that saved the chair (if you are away from your chair for 30 minutes or more, they are to remove your belongings and open the chair for others). However after 40 minutes, the simply removed the time tags. We were there early and watched people save their chairs early and not come back for over an hour.

Room was not cleaned. Receptionists didn't seem to get trained for checking in or helping customers. They fiddled with the system and made us wait for a long time and check in twice in 2 different days. The additional charges were also bogus and we had to call to remove it. Elevator safety was a big concern. It shook violently and dropped from 4 to 2 when we were in it. Staffs blamed each other and pointed fingers at eqch other when we complained they didn't clean our room for the 3 days we stayed. Strange place. It is convenient though.

Room wasn't cleaned or any additional water provided during our stay - we had to ask for water each day and even toilet roll. There wasn't any turndown service. The beds on the beach should be provided to reflect the number of occupants I the room. Lifts aways had a long wait. Staff were generally very polite and the main parts of the hotel were nice. Good location for the beach, pier 60 and shops restaurants away from the hotels.

Nice area and good hotel. But the staffs were super unfriendly and not helpful. We had to call the receptionist every time before they cleaned our room. We stayed there for 3 nights and one day our room didn't get cleaned even though we asked them to clean 3 times. Staffs members are extremely rude in this hotel. The room didn't get cleaned and no water was provided but they looked frustrated when we asked them to help. Receptionists made us check in twice. Also careful swimming in their pool. Water was not clean and got eye infection the next day. Careful on the elevator as well. It dropped 2 floors when we were on it.

Unfortunately, there is not one thing that I could say positive about this property. It is very pretentious and definitely not 4 star quality. The sheets were stained, there was hair in the shower from previous guests, the carpet was well worn and stunk. There was no microwave. Only 2 of the 3 elevators were functioning at any given time. The over the top push to tip for cleaning, pool towels, beach chairs included in resort fee, and valet was obnoxious and I am am a very good tipper when service is acceptable. I will say the beach and ocean were perfect!

The property itself was very nice. The room was dirty, however. I could write my name on the dust on the lamp on the nightstand, there was hair on the shower curtain that was not ours, and the rug had not been vacuumed. Also, we were there from Friday to Tuesday and the room was only cleaned twice - once after I flagged housekeeping down to please clean the room

Bed was comfortable. AC in the room wouldn’t get below 68. TV in our room randomly turned off, if you turn the volume up or down it would also turn off. Elevators were terribly slow. I paid for an intercostal view and could see a tiny piece of water… not worth it, it was not an intercostal view.

The property looked nice, however they only have three elevators and but only two were working and at one point none of them worked making my family and I to take the stairs. The water pressure wasn't great in the showers. Overall the we had a great week there but I would choose a different hotel next time.

This hotel was the perfect location. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. We had gulf front view and it was spectacular. We are looking forward to staying here again next year. The balcony was a perfect place to sit and watch the sunset.

Room service did not clean the shower the full time we were there (5 days). The AC says it is about 62 but feels closer to 70. The front desk service were not the nicest and the valet was asleep when we were trying to leave early in the morning. The pool looks much larger in photos. Something we really enjoyed was being able to have two chairs and an umbrella at the beach provided by staying in the hotel. They charge almost $40 for just watching the Television, which I’ve never seen before. They say Clearwater beach is the best one to take kids to but seemed to be mostly adults getting very intoxicated and smoking marijuana everywhere we went. Ocean Hai was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. They had some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had and the Tuna was very fresh. I believe they said it was brought in the same day. The service was also phenomenal both times. The bar/restaurant by the pool was not great. We ordered some chips and salsa as a snack and I am 99% sure it was just chunky pace salsa but sold for almost $20. I probably would not stay here with kids again.

We enjoyed our stay the rooms are clean. There was good water pressure in the shower. The beds were very comfortable. I loved being in ocean front sitting on the balcony watching the sunset the pictures I added are from our balcony. The view is incredible.!!!!!!

Hi had a very nice stay only negatives were. The Thumping music around the pool The Buffet Breakfast was very average. Being stopped at the back of the hotel and being hassled to buy Time Share at the Wyndham club was a pain. Thanks Simon.

We arrived at 4:20 and check in was at 4:00. The line to the reservation desk was out the door and it took us about 20 minutes to talk to anyone. Nobody's rooms were ready so they were offering free drink vouchers, but only to those who were not happy and said so. Some people were not offered anything, so we spread the word around the lobby and bar. They went to the desk and also got the voucher. It took around 25 minutes for our room to be ready so it was almost 5:00 before we could settle in. We had a Gulf View King room with a balcony and the first night we were there it poured down rain. Our balcony only drained on one side and the other held water for the remaining 2 days we were there. Also during the storm the TV service kept going out. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were nice. They were just to busy for our taste and we won't be going back to that property.

Great stay!! Straight from the start til we had to leave. The cleanliness, atmosphere and layout was top notch! Dining options were excellent. We didn't get everyone's name but special shoutouts to Audra at the front desk, Marty(my boy) at the luggage desk, Nathan at Docks and John at Ocean Hai. Thank you to rest of the staff as well. Very professional and friendly!

Beautiful property. Valet parking is the only option. $40 a day. Resort fees daily as well. The food at the restaurants is delicious but pricey. Staff is all very nice and helpful. I rented a car but never used it. So uber from the airport if possible! Area very walkable and no car needed.

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous beachfront views, modern and comfortable rooms, and friendly staff made our stay perfect. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with great dining nearby. The food and drinks at the hotel are tasty but quite expensive, with a hefty service charge added. Parking is also pricey. Still, it’s a fantastic place to relax and enjoy Clearwater!

We got in late and tired so we ordered room service. Ordered a breakfast burrito and BLT sandwich. By the time they added the tip, tax and delivery charge to bring to our room it was $40.00! The food was ok. They charge a service fee and tip to anything you order. Even a can of soda they charge.

Beautiful hotel! We were welcomed with valet service and a drink. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beds were very comfy and they have an amazing sent coming through the vents. On the flip side....the breakfast buffet ( not included) was fair at best. Nowhere near the caliber i would expect from them. Also, the pool was an awesome vibe but there was nowhere near enough chiars for everyone. They had an entire open space they could have easily fit 50 more. I would have happily spent the day there buying drinks from the bar and food from the spot on the deck (because both were delicious) but there wasn't space for the fam. Overall it was a great long weekend and much needed break. We definitely would stay there agian.
