Stayed 5 nights

We recently stayed for five nights at Domus Renier Boutique Hotel in the top-floor apartment with balcony, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, full of character and charm, and the location overlooking the old harbour of Chania is simply perfect. Our apartment was amazing, incredibly spacious, with two separate bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, a large lounge area, and the most wonderful balcony with breathtaking harbour views. It was absolute bliss and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. The hospitality from the team was outstanding. A special mention to George, he helped us with our luggage on arrival and departure and always greeted us with the biggest smile. Such a lovely young man with a fantastic attitude towards hospitality, and we are sure he has a very bright future ahead of him. Eleftheria at reception was also wonderful, incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available with excellent recommendations for trips and places to visit around Chania. She genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible stay. The breakfast was exceptional, with high-quality food served by a team who truly wanted to look after their guests. A special thank you to the owner, Litsa, who always took time from her busy schedule to visit our table, say took time from her busy schedule to visit our table, say hello, and ensure we were comfortable and happy. We hope to return one day.

What a find. Tucked right in the heart of Chania's old port, this hotel manages to feel grand and intimate at the same time — the building itself is steeped in history and absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are just as stunning as the exterior promises. Every detail has been thought through, and yet nothing feels fussy or overdone. The staff are what truly made the stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home — warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start each morning before stepping out into the port. Honestly, we couldn't find a single thing to complain about. The location is unbeatable, the property is breathtaking, and the hospitality is the kind you remember long after you've left. We're already dreaming of coming back.
