Very modern ckean spacious rooms in a great location for the old town which is a short walk. Reserve parking if required as only about 5 spaces in a very nice clean underground car park. We would have expected a little more for the price and boutique label but overall a lovely hotel

Parkmöglichkeiten direkt beim nebenliegenden Supermarkt (Kooperation mit Hotel). Das schöne und saubere Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt. Morgenbuffet nutzten wir nicht. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Very nice hotel and just a short walk to old Colmar. The rooms are nicely decorated and large enough but we stayed in a Jr. suite. For the Americans, the rooms do have AC but they don't go below 72 degrees. Our room had a balcony but not much of a view to speak of, but it was still nice to sit outside with a glass of wine. There is a grocery store next door which was great. If you are driving, you'll end up parking in the grocery store parking lot which is gated. The staff was friendly, the do have a bar but it doesn't seem to be staffed later in the evening. The woman who checked us in was super nice and helpful, I can't recall her name.

Fijn hotel. Op loopafstand naar het centrum. Op zondag veel gesloten qua restaurants. Mooie kamer. Mooie badkamer. De airco staat automatisch op 23 graden en kun je zelf niet veranderen. Dit kan alleen via de receptie. Dus wil je hem koeler dan bijtijds aangeven aan de receptie. Parkeren is 16 euro.

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights for a family tip. It’s conveniently located close to the center, but far enough to be really quiet at night. The rooms were clean and updated and the front desk staff was friendly. Parking is located at the supermarket parking lot, which is accessible to anyone. I didn’t have any issues with that, but this might be an issue for some people.

Lovely small hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Colmar. I had a lovely room and as I have mobility issues, the hotel provided an excellent shower chair for my use during my stay. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. My daughter and grand-daughter were staying nearby and we all enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar on a number of occasions. The breakfast offering was excellent - something for everyone. I can only describe my stay as perfect.

Hotellet ligger umiddelbart uden for den gamle bydel. Alt er pænt og velholdt med fint designer-interiør i både værelser og lobby/restaurant. Det er tydeligt, at alt personale er indstillet på at give gæsterne det perfekte ophold. Morgenmaden er lækker og med fint udvalg. Rengøringen er langt over det typiske niveau - i det hele taget et sted, man bliver glad for at opholde sig!

I cannot fault the James Boutique hotel - walkable distance to city centre, staff so helpful offering recommendations for places to visit. The room/ toilet were spotless and well laid out. Finally the best breakfast I’ve had with all local produce. Would highly recommend.

Heel mooi hotel, lobby erg gezellig aangekleed in kerstsfeer. Kamer heel netjes en bed ligt goed. Ontbijt (€21,-) zeker de moeite waard, veel lokale producten. Verder alles goed te lopen vanuit het hotel. Dus zeker een aanrader voor een bezoek aan Colmar.

Everything exceeded our expectations starting with the beautiful spacious room on the top floor with amazing views of the city and finishing with the professionalism and dedication of everyone who works here. The room was large, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with rainfall shower, very clean, eco-friendly toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of variety of locally sourced items, hot and cold, excellent service, helpful with all kinds of suggestions for places to see and things to do in Colmar. Located within walking distance to Christmas Market, shops , restaurants, wine tasting shops. We felt right at home, a tru hospitality especially for the holiday season. Great staff, accommodating, breakfast was delicious, parking extremely convenient and walkable to old town. Unfortunately I have to take one star due to the poor Internet speeds. I do not expect blazing speeds from a hotel but this was appalling…even email sometimes would fail to work. Same was reported by other couples in our group.

Hôtel moderne situé dans un environnement très quelconque, mais très proche de la vieille ville historique. L’accès au marché de Noël est situé à quelques centaines de mètres seulement. Le personnel est accueillant et professionnel. Notre chambre était suffisamment vaste, très claire, bien insonorisée, et bien équipée. De plus, elle avait un très grand balcon, avec une vue très dégagée, sûrement très agréable pendant les mois chauds. Le petit déjeuner est varié et de bonne qualité (avec une mention spéciale pour les les œufs brouillés élaborés selon la recette d’un grand Chef de Colmar). Un parking est disponible derrière l’hôtel. Un établissement confortable, à recommander …

Good location. Poor management. Refrigerator never worked, dimly lit room, needed 2 duvets for a queen bed(apparently they don't have the right size), room not serviced one day (to their surprise); thermostat not programmed for below 73 degrees, etc.

Hotellet ligger lige udenfor Colmars bymidte. Det tager 5 minutters gang til centrum. Velkomsten var meget udførligt og venligt. Morgen buffeten er fremragende. Stort udvalg og dejligt friske og gode lokale råvarer. Virkelig dejligt. Vi havde bestilt et deluxe værelse med balkon. Balkonen var dejligt stort (langt men ikke bredt). Der var dog ingen skygge, og det er lidt uheldigt i fuld solskin og 35 grader. Værelset havde et meget stort badeværelse og separat toilet. Sammen med entréen optog dette cirka 45% af hele arealet (ca. 5 x 6 m). Det betød at resten af værelset var lidt småt. Det var vanskeligt at finde plads til 2 åbne kufferter. Men ellers et rigtig dejligt mindre hotel, som helt bestemt kan anbefales. Kan man undvære balkonen og leve med et normalt (mindre) badeværelse, ville jeg nøjes med et almindeligt værelse. Personalet er meget venligt, morgenmaden fremragende, beliggenheden god og rene samt pæne indrettede værelser. Kan helt sikkert anbefales.

In a town that is very charming this hotel is not intended to be charming. The room was clean and modern, but it was rather sterile. I liked the bathroom, but hated the bathroom sliding door as it didnt close all the way.

#not sponsored James Boutique Hotel has been the best hospitality experience in Europe so far. We arrived late in the night at Colmar so could not find a taxi. We had informed the hotel about this and asked them to arrange for a taxi. To our surprise, the hotel owner came himself to pick us up in his car. We cannot thank him enough for this gesture. The service, the cleanliness, the hospitality was perfect. We would highly recommend James Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Colmar. The location is nearby the city centre and you can cover all the tourist attractions by foot.

We ended up at this hotel last minute after an issue with another booking we had made in Colmar. I am very glad we ended up at this hotel. The staff were so kind and accommodating right from when we turned up 30 mins after booking, until checkout. Highly recommend. Amazing staff, great room, great location, good parking and overall a brilliant experience.

Der Service, die Zimmer und die freundl. Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind alles in allem sehr weiter empfehlenswert. Ich hatte etwas im zimmer vergessen, es wurde mir sofort nachgesendet. Dafür ein extra großes Lob. Vielen Dank nochmal.

We had an amazing time staying at this property. Everything exceeded our expectations starting with the beautiful spacious room on the top floor with amazing views of the city and finishing with the professionalism and dedication of everyone who works here. The room was large, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with rainfall shower, very clean, eco-friendly toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of variety of locally sourced items, hot and cold, excellent service, helpful with all kinds of suggestions for places to see and things to do in Colmar. Located within walking distance to Christmas Market, shops , restaurants, wine tasting shops. We felt right at home, a tru hospitality especially for the holiday season. Lovely small hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Colmar. I had a lovely room and as I have mobility issues, the hotel provided an excellent shower chair for my use during my stay. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. My daughter and grand-daughter were staying nearby and we all enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar on a number of occasions. The breakfast offering was excellent - something for everyone. I can only describe my stay as perfect.

Very modern ckean spacious rooms in a great location for the old town which is a short walk. Reserve parking if required as only about 5 spaces in a very nice clean underground car park. We would have expected a little more for the price and boutique label but overall a lovely hotel

I cannot fault the James Boutique hotel - walkable distance to city centre, staff so helpful offering recommendations for places to visit. The room/ toilet were spotless and well laid out. Finally the best breakfast I’ve had with all local produce. Would highly recommend.

Parkmöglichkeiten direkt beim nebenliegenden Supermarkt (Kooperation mit Hotel). Das schöne und saubere Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt. Morgenbuffet nutzten wir nicht. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Very nice hotel and just a short walk to old Colmar. The rooms are nicely decorated and large enough but we stayed in a Jr. suite. For the Americans, the rooms do have AC but they don't go below 72 degrees. Our room had a balcony but not much of a view to speak of, but it was still nice to sit outside with a glass of wine. There is a grocery store next door which was great. If you are driving, you'll end up parking in the grocery store parking lot which is gated. The staff was friendly, the do have a bar but it doesn't seem to be staffed later in the evening. The woman who checked us in was super nice and helpful, I can't recall her name.

A lovely boutique hotel in a convenient, walkable location. We stayed there in December for the Christmas markets. The location was walkable from the train station in a quiet area of town that was also easily walkable to the markets and restaurants. Lovely staff, comfortable lobby and quiet rooms. Overall a very nice choice for our stay.

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights for a family tip. It’s conveniently located close to the center, but far enough to be really quiet at night. The rooms were clean and updated and the front desk staff was friendly. Parking is located at the supermarket parking lot, which is accessible to anyone. I didn’t have any issues with that, but this might be an issue for some people.

Hotellet ligger lige udenfor Colmars bymidte. Det tager 5 minutters gang til centrum. Velkomsten var meget udførligt og venligt. Morgen buffeten er fremragende. Stort udvalg og dejligt friske og gode lokale råvarer. Virkelig dejligt. Vi havde bestilt et deluxe værelse med balkon. Balkonen var dejligt stort (langt men ikke bredt). Der var dog ingen skygge, og det er lidt uheldigt i fuld solskin og 35 grader. Værelset havde et meget stort badeværelse og separat toilet. Sammen med entréen optog dette cirka 45% af hele arealet (ca. 5 x 6 m). Det betød at resten af værelset var lidt småt. Det var vanskeligt at finde plads til 2 åbne kufferter. Men ellers et rigtig dejligt mindre hotel, som helt bestemt kan anbefales. Kan man undvære balkonen og leve med et normalt (mindre) badeværelse, ville jeg nøjes med et almindeligt værelse. Personalet er meget venligt, morgenmaden fremragende, beliggenheden god og rene samt pæne indrettede værelser. Kan helt sikkert anbefales.

I do not expect blazing speeds from a hotel but this was appalling…even email sometimes would fail to work. Same was reported by other couples in our group.

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Liegt nur 10 Gehminuten von der Altstadt von Colmar. Es war alles perfekt. Alle sehr Freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Es nie etwas gefehlt, da kontinuierlich nachgeschöpft wurde. Lässt keine Wünsche offen.

The historic district is a easy walk from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is every helpful and accommodating and the breakfast is very good. The parking is easy. We would stay again.

Heel mooi hotel, lobby erg gezellig aangekleed in kerstsfeer. Kamer heel netjes en bed ligt goed. Ontbijt (€21,-) zeker de moeite waard, veel lokale producten. Verder alles goed te lopen vanuit het hotel. Dus zeker een aanrader voor een bezoek aan Colmar.

This hotel is a gem. Really nice, spacious and modern rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. The room has everything you could want with the location being perfectly close to town. The lobby area is really nice. Grocery store about a minute walk to get waters or whatever you need which was super convenient.

The James has a great location and a great team. Their underground parking is very convenient, but is not suitable for large cars. Smaller cars have no problem. Staff was great, the room was a real treat, well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was super, too much to take in, but very well presented.
