Short stay, so did not get to use the amenities. Room was fine, but bland and right next to construction. They did provide ear plugs, but I couldn’t use those since I didn’t want to miss my alarm.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room we were given was amazing with beautiful views across central Ottawa. The staff were also very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A special thanks goes to the staff member who served us at breakfast. She was busy on her own, but gave wonderful service to everyone and was very efficient. The food was a la carte but at a very high standard. It was delicious especially the eggs benedict and banana bread.The reception staff were great too. The special welcome drink for every guest on the first night at the bar with views was very welcoming. The location is very central and easy to walk. Only negative i can say about the hotel is the front of it doesn't look like a hotel from the outside, but the inside is modern and well maintained.

Staff very nice, convenient and central location for many tourist attractions and shopping and great diverse food options (though neighbourhood a bit seedy), free wine with check-in, would stay again. Only issue was an admittedly special request of mine, they kept saying they put it in the notes but then no one seemed aware of it and we had to ask several times for it to be done

First two nights there was no house keeping. I was told the hotel didn’t have enough linen to change the bedding and also they were short staffed. This was felt at check in, I wasn’t able to check in until 4pm which was incredibly frustrating as I needed the room to change for a conference. Check out is 11am so they had plenty of time to clean the rooms. I got the impression they only had a couple of people working in house keeping. The room was nice and spacious and breakfast was nice. Location was very central and good for amenities. Lots of homeless in Ottawa in general so wasn’t the nicest place to walk at night. We saw someone getting arrested outside the hotel door.
