Very comfortable and nicely maintained older house. Very well-situated too, in the heart of town yet set back and insulated from the busy street out front. Very hospitable service. (Didn’t have the breakfast - but it looked good.) Only drawback, for some, would be the extremely limited parking space available either at the property or anywhere nearby (in a town built long before the car was invented, obviously!)

Heel mooie en comfortabele kamer en badkamer. Mooi groot en goed bed. Erg mooie inrichting in de stijl van het huis. Excellent ontbijt. Bij aankomst werd ons echter niet gemeld dat de ingang zich naast huisnr 15 bevindt (niet 23 zoals aangegeven) en dat daar ook plek is om de bagage uit te laden.Het was erg druk, dus konden de auto pas ong. 1 km verder parkeren waarna we al onze bagage het hele eind bergop moesten slepen. Werd om 2:30 u wakker wegens luchtgebrek ( ik slaap met apneutoestel). Bleek dat de electriciteit was uitgevallen. Dus geen licht, verwarming, warm water etc. Echt jammer want de kamer en ontbijt zijn zeker 5 sterren waard.

Sintra si presenta come una piccola bomboniera. La villa è ubicata in pieno centro, con accesso limitato con la macchina. Ci hanno inviato tutte le indicazioni x accedere con la macchina (compreso codice x accesso alla zona limitata) e siamo riusciti a parcheggiare l’auto (per poi dimenticarcene). Siamo stati accolti da Isabel, che è stata molto carina e ci ha portati alla nostra fantastica camera, spaziosissima, letto enorme, dotata di tutti i confort. Colazione a mio avviso migliorabile, ma nel complesso buona. Sintra vale la pena di fermarsi a dormire, girarla di sera, quando tutti i pullman delle gite di un giorno sono andati via, e’ impagabile!! Soggiorno in struttura molto piacevole

The staff especially Rueben were all very wonderful! I loved my stay there. Just be aware the road outside is closed to traffic but they will give you a code so a driver can access. I was there during the terrible Martinho storm and the road was closed so the owner actually carried my luggage up the hill for me! I will definitely come back!

Difficile da raggiungere soprattutto se si arriva in auto, il parcheggio è complicato da trovare e anche se dista 15min a piedi il tragitto con le valigie risulta stancante (con le salite e ciottoli per strada). Sarebbe ottimo un servizio di accesso per entrare come clienti riservati dell’hotel dentro la zona srl, almeno per scaricare i bagagli. Ancora meglio se avesse un parcheggio. Camera carina, anche se la mattina scendeva acqua dal piano di sopra in un angolo della stanza. Fastidioso un cane che accasava presente nella casa accanto. Personale molto gentile.

Lovely room w/ beautiful views and lots of character. The location was great for exploring the area. The host that checked us in was incredibly helpful & made us feel so welcomed during our stay. Parking, although a little tight, was a huge bonus as well.

We loved the size, layout, and character of our room--very charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is gorgeous and everything is accessible. Parking was the biggest challenge. For people unfamiliar with the area, some suggestions of where to park (as well as a heads up that if you go too far, you're in a big loop that takes about half an hour to drive) would be helpful.

Stunning location. Extremely difficult to locate by car. Once located, you then have to somehow get into the parking area which I almost found impossible! And ... I damaged my rental car!! The alternative is to try to find a parking space which is virtually impossible (unless you arrive very late at night) and the main car park is not very close so with heavy luggage, it isn't ideal

Decent little hotel, very friendly staff, clean rooms. The downside is that one of the rooms we had was a little humid and the bathroom in the other one smelled of humidity, probably because the shower is badly setup and water gets all over the floor when showering

I understand this isn’t a luxury hotel and just a simple BandB. It’s fairly old, peeling wallpaper, dusty and dirty room with moulds in the shower. Not the end of the world but if there were better options in Sintra we likely would have moved. Just hard to relax when things are so dirty.

A very unique property. Very different from other hotels. My room was very clean but had only a TV. There is no coffee/tea maker in room, no mini fridge, so you must go out for any coffee. There is no restaurant on site. Basically just your room. So a short walk into town for some waters and snacks is a must. It is a good location and walkable to where the buses and tuk tuks are. Sintra is very lovely and this property made it a little more special by being very unique and out of the city.

The room was spotless with king sized bed. AC/heater, and good tv and internet connection. There was a bathroom two steps up including a small enclosed shower and claw foot tub with sink and toilet. All was fresh and clean. There was also a small alcove with a twin bed on the same level as the bath.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Sintra. Super convenient to walk to wonderful cafes, restaurants, the National Palace and transportation to all points of interest. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. Thank you for a great stay in a large and well furnished room with antique flavor, Victorian bathtub, great shower and my own terrace for a reasonable price.

Really enjoyed connecting with our hostess Dolce. Good breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. The wifi wasn’t very strong but not surprising with an older structure. Very close to historic downtown. Lovely, highly recommend!

Only issue is getting an uber to the property to get us back to the train station. Bathroom was small, over 5’i8 your knees will be touching the wall when you use the facilities. Otherwise amazing staff and beautiful room

Ons verblijf ( onze kamer) was niet meer dan redelijk. Kamer was wel in orde maar dat gold niet voor de echt veel te kleine badkamer. De afstand tussen toilet en muur was zodanig dat het bijna vraagt om acrobatiek. Hotel is tevens geheel ongeschikt voor mensen met een handicap en parkeren is echt bizar moeilijk

Fantastic place to stay! Spacious character room…and a claw foot tub! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Perfect location to get to the sights, particularly the Quinta de Regaleira. Easy alk to many food and beverage places. On the edge of Historic Centro Sintra. Of note, there are several ‘Boutique Hotels’ in Sintra…clarify ‘Palacio’ and maybe show the address if take a tuk tuk. If you are remotely fit, it’s an easy walk (with rolling suitcase) from the train station.

Nous avons rerserve 2 chambre début mars 2025, a notre arrivée nous avions les code pour les cadenas et on avait seulement une clé pour les deux chambres que nous avons partagé à 3 . Il m’avait promis un remboursement pour la chambre non utiliser et jamais eu le remboursement et j’ai relancer à plusieurs reprise. C’est du vol je ne conseil pas cette établissement

This is charming old property with a personal touch. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the house is full of character and - within the inevitable limits of an ancient building - well appointed. Very comfortable beds and effective (and needed!) aircon. The location is wonderful, although coming to Sintra by car is a mistake! Taxis and Uber are plentiful and cheap. I would leave the car behind next time.

This was my 2nd time staying here. It is super cute and close to some of the palaces. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! There are two staff members that we loved both stays. Dulce is so funny and kind hearted. She is the reason we returned. She is amazing! We also love Ruta! Very sweet! Ruta is very kind. We love both of these amazing ladies! You need to stay here to meet Dulce and Ruta!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Sintra. Super convenient to walk to wonderful cafes, restaurants, the National Palace and transportation to all points of interest. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. Thank you for a great stay in a large and well furnished room with antique flavor, Victorian bathtub, great shower and my own terrace for a reasonable price.

Very comfortable and nicely maintained older house. Very well-situated too, in the heart of town yet set back and insulated from the busy street out front. Very hospitable service. (Didn’t have the breakfast - but it looked good.) Only drawback, for some, would be the extremely limited parking space available either at the property or anywhere nearby (in a town built long before the car was invented, obviously!)

We loved the location. We were able to walk to the Pena Palace, Quita de Regalia, and Castle of the Moors. The house has packed with charm and character. Isabella was lovely. If arriving during peak tour hours when almost at the property, ensure to show the police officer directing traffic to turn left that you have a hotel reservation and need to turn right. Otherwise, you will be stuck in the tourist traffic queue to go all the way around again taking an additional 30 minutes.

This is charming old property with a personal touch. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the house is full of character and - within the inevitable limits of an ancient building - well appointed. Very comfortable beds and effective (and needed!) aircon. The location is wonderful, although coming to Sintra by car is a mistake! Taxis and Uber are plentiful and cheap. I would leave the car behind next time.

Heel mooie en comfortabele kamer en badkamer. Mooi groot en goed bed. Erg mooie inrichting in de stijl van het huis. Excellent ontbijt. Bij aankomst werd ons echter niet gemeld dat de ingang zich naast huisnr 15 bevindt (niet 23 zoals aangegeven) en dat daar ook plek is om de bagage uit te laden.Het was erg druk, dus konden de auto pas ong. 1 km verder parkeren waarna we al onze bagage het hele eind bergop moesten slepen. Werd om 2:30 u wakker wegens luchtgebrek ( ik slaap met apneutoestel). Bleek dat de electriciteit was uitgevallen. Dus geen licht, verwarming, warm water etc. Echt jammer want de kamer en ontbijt zijn zeker 5 sterren waard.

Staff was very accommodating, and were able to store my baggage for the day while I went out to explore. Note that the hotel is in the driving restricted historic center, so likely your taxi or tuktuk will drop you off on the main road, and you'll have to walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Breakfast was small, but had everything we needed for a healthy start to the day. Room size was good, and bed was very comfy. Adjoining bathroom was quite large, with a comfortably sized antique rain shower that was set very high to accommodate any basketball player-sized guests. Room did come with a heater, which I appreciated.

Staff are friendly and welcoming, but reception is only open until 5pm which is a bit limiting. Wonderful position near the centre of Sintra. Shower v good and room spotless. As ever, January is a chilly time in Portugal!

Un lugar hermosísimo, muy bien ubicado, es como hacer un viaje al pasado. Prestar atención a las indicaciones que dan al hacer la reserva porque la ubicación no coincide bien con Google maps. Habitaciones súper amplias y bellas. El personal muy atento y amable, siempre hay galletitas en el lobby disponibles. El desayuno es una delicia. Tener en cuenta que no hay mucho comercio abierto para comer por las noches en general en Sintra (especialmente entre semana) y no hay supermercados cerca. La estación de tren está como a 15min caminando. Volvería mil veces, me encantó.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff friendly, very helpful, packed is a breakfast-to-go as we had to catch an early train. Beautiful building. We enjoyed wine and reading in the outdoor areas. Definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed connecting with our hostess Dolce. Good breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. The wifi wasn’t very strong but not surprising with an older structure. Very close to historic downtown. Lovely, highly recommend!

Older house with rented out rooms in old part of very cute little town … no elevator, but staff carried our suitcases up the stairs. Staff were very nice and helpful giving us information about the places to see and what to expect. Very convenient area so able to walk everywhere. We loved our 3 days there and the castles are all fabulous!
