We had a lovely stay. The room was beautifully decorated and equipped. It was clean, comfortable and warm. There was plenty of off road parking outside the hotel. Situated perfectly for both shops and lovely coastal walks. Plenty of nice places to eat. We would highly recommend the Harbour Guest House and would stay again.

Very good, simple instructions to gain access, quiet and cosy room. Very powerful shower, comfy bed and good size TV. Wifi was good and strong, simple desk and shelving perfect for a few nights. Great location 5 mins from shops and train station. Plenty of food options near by and bar too. Perfect for the maritime museum.

I was disappointed that the hospitality tray had dusty corners and hair from a previous guest on the sachets of tea/coffee. Also, when I got into the shower and adjusted the shower head, a disposable razor used by a previous guest fell to the shower tray. It must have been balanced on the shower head. That suggested the shower cubicle had not been properly cleaned. Obviously, a falling, previously used by another person, blade isn't great when one is naked in the shower.

Loved it. Only the one night but really happy with check in and communication. Very very clean room and shower room . Never had a shower but looked like the shower head holder was broken? Maybe not? Really comfy bed. If back in Irvine I will book again.

The property was on the harbour front with excellent views. Very close to cafes, pubs and resturants. The town is a 5 minute walk and a large shopping complex is very glose. The ptoperty was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Booked double room which was very small, small double bed against one wall which made it difficult to get out of bed to use toilet without disturbing partner. On the plus side it was very clean and had tea & coffee making facilities. Ok for one night stay but wouldn’t want to stay for longer.

Easy check-in, nice clean and quiet room. Unfortunately, I accidentallydamaged what I thought was the bathroom flush, and contacted Nick straight away. He told me not to worry at all, and explained that he would sort the problem out when he arrived. Fantastic owner, I would imagine that certain other people would take advantage of this and try and request extra payment. I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and quiet and in a lovely location, right opposite the harbour. Free parking outside. A pub selling food 30 seconds away and a restauraunt and pub at the end of the road near a lovely natural beach. 8 minute walk from the town centre.

Fabulous place to stay . Lovely rooms . Situated 5 minutes walk from the station and 15 minutes away from the back . A small comfortable room which had everything we needed for our overnight stay in Irvine. It is close to good pubs, cafes and a shopping centre. The beach is a few minutes walk away and is really pretty. The sunset was superb, with staying just got that. Easy to access the property which was clean and comfortable.
