Loved that this property wasn’t humid with stale air. Everything was wonderful except the tile at the pool. We saw so many people slip only one was serious and caused the guy serious injuries so that was not fun. Everything else though was great!!!

I loved how convenient it was, especially since we were attending an event at the Xcel Energy Center. Plenty of dining options within walking distance as well. I didn’t like that we’re wasn’t much parking for people needing to check in. I had to circle the block MANY times before a spot cleared up. Also, I wish they had a regular parking option. Maybe consider a partnership with a nearby public ramp? It’ll then be up to the guests to choose if they want the private hotel ramp with valet service, or if they just choose the other ramp slightly up the road (and it would cost less too). I really didn’t want to pay for valet parking, but that’s the only parking option they had. Other than that, it’s a great hotel - I would stay here again

Both times we were at the front desk for check in and check out, we were clearly inconveniencing the employees. At check out the woman said I would get a receipt emailed and I still haven’t seen that! Waited 45 minutes for my car to be returned to me from the valet service, only to have to ask them to go get it at the 45 minute mark. Then we go outside to the “bad news” they had scraped the entire back half of my vehicle along a yellow barrier of some kind in tbe

We enjoyed the proximity to attractions. They only have valet parking for $35.00 a day which comes out of “incidental fee” $75 if you opt for valet, otherwise, you can street park but car needs to be removed before 7am. We disliked the cleanliness of the room (needed vacuuming under air conditioner and just in general, bed duvet had a blood stain on it in which we called front desk and they replaced, floors were very dirty. Our dead bolt was not working so that was another issue also. Pool area was very clean and very nice, pool towels are provided, nice work out gym lots of equipment (could use a good wile down and vacuum also in gym) Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options, very clean dining area!

Honestly probably the best hotel we've stayed in lately. The rooms were small but clean. The lobby had a nice coffee/cocoa bar. And it was a great location for us. The only thing i didnt care for was having to pay for parking/vallet.

Needed a handicap room which was very nice, BUT, MICROWAVE was not plugged in in a handicapped room. Also sheets had stains. They men at Valet parking were extremely nice. Front desk are ok but not friendly.

We stayed in room 426. The couch bed had the worst mattress on it. We have stayed many times and every other mattress in the couch has been great. But this one might need to be replaced. Like i mentioned, we stay at the Hampton alot and will continue to stay in the future. That is the only complaint i have and have ever had. Thansk

They only have valet parking and it comes out of your room hold at the end. The room was spacious and comfortable but the blinds are electronic and didn’t work well. I would recommend and go back, literally across the street from Xcel.

The staff were super kind and you could tell they were trying their best. The place was super nice overall. The only issue I really had was there were sliding barn doors to the bathrooms. There was a gap almost 2 inches from the edge of the opening. I had a trip with 3 other friends so we had to not go out the front door or else we would have a full picture of whoever was using the bathroom. That was the biggest issue I had. But considering that was the only issue, my stay was pretty good. A bit expensive for having a gap in a bathroom door and a view right into other apartments only feet away but it was pretty good over all. Comfortable bed, nice common area, great breakfast, great staff, valet was worth the money and pool was nice.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at downtown St. Paul! The employees at the front were so nice and welcoming and the security at the door welcomed us when we came back very late from the timberwolves game. The room looked better in person than the pictures!

This hotel is built well and managed wonderfully. The staff are very friendly at the front desk, valet, and breakfast. They are quick and professional at all levels. I left my iPad at room after checking out without noticing. And Cody who works at front desk called me about it. Luckily we were still in Mall of America and we managed to pick it up. Huge thanks to housekeeper and stuffs who helped me to get back my iPad. Highly recommend this place.

We didn't know what to expect of a downtown St. Paul hotel, but were 100% happy with the Hampton Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was modern, nice and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The entire hotel was very neat and clean. It is one block from the River Center Convention Center with several restaurants just down the block. We would highly recommend the Hampton Inn. The Valet parking at $35 seemed high, but we didn't have to worry about our car as it was parked underground and only Valet could enter the garage. Great experience!

What a wonderful place to stay for the Eric Clapton with Jimmie Vaughan Concert. The location is steps away from the Xcel Energy Center. Valet parking for $35, so we didn't need to find parking with a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance to satisfy everyone. Our suite was fine with the following suggestions: Have a few cups placed in the bathroom and have two flat sheets for the pullout sofa bed. The complimentary breakfast was nice. The area was organized and clean. A wide variety of breakfast items were available with Caribou Coffee. Just need to figure out how to keep the hot items a little hotter. (scrambled eggs, sausages & potatoes) Having this breakfast available still beats driving around finding a restaurant serving breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.

It was very clean! Expensive to park our vehicle ($40/day) The downside is that if you want to use the washroom while working out, you have to go to a different floor unless you work out between 8am-10pm when the pool is open and then you still have to go into the wet pool area to use the washroom. So that means that for 10 hours a day you can't access the bathroom (or get a kleenex either) while working out. It's not a very logical set-up. There also wasn't any gluten-free dedicated foods at the breakfast, or items for vegans besides some frozen fruit one day and apples. Great if you don't have any dietary requirements but today, it's so easy to provide options. This is the first Hilton owned hotel I've been to that didn't offer options.
