The staff was amazing during every step of the process! They even helped us print train tickets when the printer in the business center decided to not work properly. They answered any small question we had during the whole stay and were able to get us a taxi to bring us to the airport very early in the morning

It's great that the hotel is central and close to everything. Rooms are a tad small but not very soundproof, but comfortable. Breakfast included was nice and the best part. Skip the lunch buffet. Overpriced and disappointing. The cleanliness of the room was lacking a bit. Shelves above coffee maker were dusty and bleach spots on the carpet. Also an issue of missing items after housekeeping. My extra room card and "diamond " watch that were on the nightstand and coffee counter were missing after I came back from a day trip. Ice machine on floor was not working properly. The bar on site, though modern and lovely, didn't have entertainment the night and time they posted, and drinks over-priced as well. The menu online needs updated, all they had was snacks like chips and salsa and fries and cheese plate. No pizza or burgers as stated. So if you're not looking to use the amenities much, you'll enjoy its location.

We enjoyed our stay here. Our Breezy Suite was clean, spacious and well appointed with two separate rooms and a large bathroom. The bed and duvet were super comfortable. The location was great - we could easily walk to many interesting attractions, shops, and restaurants from the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the front desk who helped us get information on our lost baggage. Our only criticisms would be the lift system can sometimes take too long and the music in the bar could be more laidback and chilled to create a better atmosphere in the evening.

Reserved two rooms (1-King bed and 2-Twin Beds) for a 4 night stay Pros: Excellent location to train station, shopping, dining, etc. Coin operated laundry room avail 24/7 Front desk staff spoke English Hotel staff was friendly & helpful Cons: Limited closet space Poor drop-off/pickup area for hotel guests Checked-in later than expected after a long day of travel and the front desk agent worked quickly to get the keys to my rooms. One of the air conditioners in the room was not working properly but they promptly sent someone from engineering upstairs and it was quickly repaired. Rooms were clean, nicely appointed, and very well soundproofed. During my stay, on several occasions I required the assistance of the front desk (i.e: needed a rollaway bed for part of our stay, replacement room keys, wanted to reserve a taxi to go to the airport, looking for a recommendation to get a haircut). Each and every time I approached them they gladly aided me. I went to school for hotel management and I give them 5 stars across the board!

Amazing time. For me location of a hotel is key when discovering a city and a lot was perfectly located. I love walking to discover a new place and a Loft is right inn the middle. Also at night you have this amazing street food market and I went there often. The rooms are super comfy and clean. Gym was perfect for couple of days. Staff was super nice too

Fine but little disappointing. I was hoping the concierge would be more readily available and knowledgeable. The concierge desk was completely unoccupied throughout our entire stay, so we had to ask staff at the front desk for recommendations, tips, or help. We found one individual to be helpful but assistance was very inconsistent. This is not a good place to stay if it’s your first time in South Korea. The rooms were clean and the AC worked, but the floor we were on smelled like urine throughout the entire stay. The aesthetics of the hotel were nothing special, and I’d probably stay somewhere else next time - although the breakfast buffet was actually quite good.

Reception staff were warm and welcoming, with fluent English. Special mention to the lovely lady who checked us in on May 7th around noon—she was fantastic! The suite was a good size, well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the in-room water dispenser was a great touch. Not sure if we’ll return due to the issues we encountered, but we’ll keep this place in mind for the future.

I suspected the room we had was supposed to be under service but assign to us. First thing, the door card gave us issue on our first day. And we have to go up and down thrice times before the front desk staff came up together to get the card rectify. (Annoying! And give us a ??? Face, of cause, because it’s not her problem) There are black stains on the towel suddenly, which was puzzling. Until the last night, mystery solved, it was from the carpet in the room. My daughter put her bag on the floor and the next day, there is a dark stain on her bag. Middle of the seat, water pipe leaking below the basin 😑. The lifts, too forever to come. You can just stay and wait for 4-5 mins for your lift to come. And it will just change as and when. Like you are waiting for Lift 1 then change to Lift 2 and back to Lift 1 again. Rather crazy. Front desk, seems like there is only 1 lady who can speak fluent English…! The only good thing is, the hotel location is conveniently near subway and myeongdong street.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Love the bed as it was so comfortable. The water dispenser in the room came in handy too. Though not everyone at the reception counter is fluent in English but they were friendly and helpful, especially a few of the gentlemen at the lobby door when we need help to call for a taxi.

das hotel ist schön und liegt sehr gut/zentral - mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit freundlich bis auf einen herren, der war weniger freundlich. leider ist der tv nicht internetfähig somit konnte man nur koreanische sender empfangen. gegenüber des hotels war leider eine baustelle, welche täglich von 22:00-4:00 lärm machte auch am wochenende. von hämmern, schleifen bis hin zum presslufthammer. somit war bei uns ein schlafen mit offenen fenster leider unmöglich bzw nur mit ohrstöpsel. der verkehrslärm kommt noch hinzu da es direkt bei einer kreuzung liegt. flughafenbus ist nur wenige minuten vom hotel entfernt sowie viele shoppingmöglichkeiten. betten waren sehr bequem und auch das bad sehr geräumig. man bekommt täglich gratis wasser flaschen und popcorn :)

Enjoyed our stay here at Aloft Myeongdong. Decent location still and close by the night markets. Bus stop about 50m away to catch to Seoul train station was also a bonus when we checked out. Otherwise the underground shopping centre is also close by which is good to access other metro station. Room was well presented and comfortable bed and pillow we were located on a high floor that was also nice.

What an excellent hotel at the heart of Myeong-dong. The staff is friendly and helpful in every sense of the word. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the famous Myeong-dong shopping area and is centrally located, so you can walk to the many famous areas, such as Namdamun shopping, Namsan Tower (cable car), Kyungbookoong, the Insadong area, Cheonggaechun, etc. Aloft did a great job with the soundproofing of their rooms. I could not hear flushing sounds or loud neighbors. Many hotels I've stayed in Seoul (including Gangnam) in a similar price range do not compare in this aspect. You will not be disappointed.

The location was the best! Very central with easy access to many buses and two different subway lines. The service was super friendly, professional and efficient. The staff clearly made the difference. I stayed twice at the same hotel in a week for over five days and they were amazing. Because I had a gao between both of my reservations - they accepted holding one of my luggage’s as I was away for a week. Superb thing to do. They were kind, nice, helpful. Great location, 1 min from Myeongong shopping street. Shinsegae, L Avenue and Lotte Dept store are across the street. bus stops outside the hotel, airport bus 6015 stops at Ibis hotel and is about 3-4 walk to Aloft. Front desk staff friendly; called a taxi for us to the airport, always greeted with a smile. Our room was spacious, opened 2 large suitcase without a problem and still had plenty of space to move around. Shower water pressure was a bit weak. Housekeeping did a good job although, it would be great if they can close the doors quietly while they are cleaning in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

It is my second time staying at Aloft Seoul Myeongdong and we are loving how convenient it is located. Metro station and Airport bus drop off are within walking distance. Location is perfect for us. The hotel is about 300m away from myeongdong shopping street and the subway station entrance. Airport bus dropped off at Ibis hotel which is a short walking distance to Aloft. Hotel room is clean and big enough to lay 2 big luggage bags on the floor. No room service but food is easily available around the hotel vicinity.
