Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Panama City Beach

All was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The charge for parking was unwelcome especially during the off season. I was told it was not the property but Marriott itself mandated a parking charge which is ridiculous in the off season, so I will stay elsewhere next year.

Check in was easy for us. Outside Property/lobby was clean. Staff was nice. Nothing out the ordinary until we got to the elevators and noticed that one of the elevator “floor buttons box” was broken and tapped up all over and tapped to the wall. That same elevator really needs an out of service sign because that elevator felt unsafe with the loud noises and shaking. Other than that it was okay. The room was so nice and clean until I seen mold in the shower and under one of the shower shelves. That lets me know the staff is rushing and not thoroughly cleaning as they should.

I love the customer service. The only thing i didn't like is that they charge you to park your car. Apparently is not included on the room... I've never seen anything like this. They charge for one day 10$ for your car.

The pool was very nice and clean the rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful.

Rooms were old/dingy. Pool not usable, dirty. Breakfast poor options. Coffee poor quality

The air went out in one of our rooms and not only did they not move us but I had to go but a fan just to get some circulation. I went to go check the status of the work order the next day only to find out there wasn’t one put in. When they finally came 2 days later they made us leave our room to fix it. The washer and dryers show that the cost is 3.00 per wash and 3.00 to dry but we were charged 5.00 each and I reported it and was told the manager would get back to me and never did. Our key cards kept getting inactivated so we had to get them rescanned several times. We complained that someone above us kept letting their child jump off the bed and run all through the room from early morning and all day and our Nextdoor neighbors kept playing music really loud and kept slamming the doors and constantly banging on the doors and no one ever did anything. They said they would check the halls and that was it. They were supposed to come clean our rooms every other day but only came once and when they did they only took the trash out. They didn’t vacuum, give us clean linen and kept saying all the towels were in the laundry. For the amount of money this place cost the experience was horrible.

We evacuated to this hotel during Hurricane Milton, the hotel is 6 hours away from our home. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way when we encountered a problem with our 75 lb dog who refused to go in the elevator to get to our room. This is a pet friendly hotel, very clean and updated. We saw many happy dogs staying there and one cat too. Every staff member was very nice. We will definitely book here again if we are in the area. Generally Fairfield Inns are nice, comfortable places to stay, but the one in Panama City was filthy and the elevators made so much grinding noise and jilted movements that I wasn’t sure we were going to make it to the third floor.

Our stay was pleasant. We were able to do an early check in. We were upgraded to a bigger room (ADA), which was nice because I booked for a king bed 1 sofa bed originally and we were a family of 5. Room and bed were clean and cozy. The only thing was the shower. It was difficult to figure out. It also made noise if you don't get it to the right setting. Water pressure was okay. Refrigerator is timed for 2 hrs then it shuts off. Shower curtain is very short which made a puddle of mess as you finish. The drive to the strip is about 10-15 minute's depending on traffic. Its a bit of a tricky right turn into the facility from the main road, so slow down as youll likely miss the turn. Overall we enjoyed the pool, breakfast and laundry amenities.

I liked that when we arrived the moment u stepped foot inside the building it was clean and smelling good! The hotel staff was very nice and the rooms were nice and clean too.

Stayed last minute after we had to cancel a nearby stay due to roaches. This property was excellent. Clean rooms, comfy bed, great pillows! I loved the huge shower with supplies provided. Breakfast was good, definitely recommend!

The rates were not worth it!! Filthy carpets and under staffed for a Friday night. Over charge

From walking in, staff was friendly & helpful. Hotel smelled good & room was very clean. My stay was grand! I highly recommend if you're ever in the area.

Front desk service was excellent. As a Marriott Titanium Member, I was not at all pleased with the maid service. My toilet was not touched in 2 days.

Bathrooms was dirty/left used once I walked into my room.

Front desk staff including the manager and Miss Taylor were warm and welcoming. The hotels food service staff was awesome and super friendly. We did not recieve any housekeeping service during our stay. They always provided towels whenever we asked. We stayed an extra night and didn’t have to change rooms which was nice.

TV wouldn’t turn on at all and yes it was plugged in. It worked in beginning but not after the first night. Shower curtain was so short that if you took a shower there was a lake on the floor when you got out. Made no sense as to why they did that. The main annoyance was no hot water. Took lukewarm baths and showers. The very last morning had hot water. Maybe they’re trying to conserve it during week and turn it on for weekend?? I travel here for work every month but I’ll stay home 2 suites next door next time.

Hotel clean and modern. Rooms are not well unsulated..Can here guest walking in the room above you also out side your room can here guest and i was on the 3rd floor. Breakfast good and room small but clean. I would stay there again only two complaints room not well insulated of outside noise and front desk..checking in and checking out not friendly..AT ALL..

Our AC was not working as properly as it should. It was getting warmer as the night went on. We tried to fix it but at 66 on high it was blowing low, and about 73

The hotel's overall location is safe, quiet, and well-preserved, within proximity to a shopping plaza, restaurant, and convenience stores. However, I was dissatisfied with the shower's water temperature, which did not reach a satisfactory level, and the microwave amenities in my specific room were non-functional. Furthermore, the shower mount detached from the wall, resulting in a loud bang, and upon investigation, we found the mount broken into pieces, posing a potential safety hazard that could have resulted in injury.

It was $30 to park outside. Microwave did not work in our room. Key card kept locking us out of the room. My overall stay was not good.

The hotel is just "ok." It's a little outdated, and the refrigerator in the room is horrible. It only stays on for two hours, and the food that we put in there spoiled overnight because it shut off and everything was warm. We let the front desk know, and they told us this is just how the refrigerators operate. Makes zero sense, but whatever. Our door kept sticking and we weren't able to get in or out of the room easily. A little scary if there's ever a fire. We most likely won't stay there again unless everything else is booked and we're desperate. Definitely over priced.

We were in room 130 and it needed updating, no usv ports to charge phone. There was a utility room next door and it was nosy at night. Also couldn’t set the clock and the alarm would go off a couple times a night.

We stayed for a few days and liked this place a lot. Our room was clean and spacious (however, you can hear the noise coming from the road - a hotel this close to a major road should be properly soundproofed), and the service was pretty good. This is a hotel that's just a short drive to restaurants, the beach, and attractions like Ripleys and Wonderworks. Parking was pretty easy despite the fact that sometimes when we came back to the hotel, we found cars parked in the handicaps spots with no handicaps signs whatsoever. Seems that issue is not enforced at all by the property, which is a shame considering there are people like us who have a real issue and cannot park close to the entrance because of that. A couple of times at night when we got to the hotel and tried to get a cup of coffee, there was none (it is supposed to be 24 hours, or so we were told at front desk when we arrived). I went up to our room and went down again an hour or so later, and found out no one had bothered to brew a fresh pot.

Was placed in the room next to the food prep room and was woken up before the sun had risen from clanking of pans and dishes

Everything was Perfect!! (Just don't get one of the rooms next to the mechanical room... because it's kind of loud, especially at night!) I would stay again. Breakfast was good! They charge for parking; I think they shouldn't.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay. The young guy who was working the deskon 04/04 @ approximatley 7PM was very nice not only to me and my daughter, but to everyone that I saw him encounter.

They overbooked and we were turned away. We ended up sleeping in our car after driving all the way from Ohio. No rooms were available within a 100 miles because of the holiday

From the moment we arrived and we’re greeted by Taylor, to the moment we departed, with a very fond farewell from Taylor, our stay was absolutely lovely. I must say Taylor’s customer centric approach was deeply appreciated! The room was very comfortable except for the constant hot then cold then hot again air temp. The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom more than adequate. The morning breakfast was more than ample and most appreciated. Thanks for a great stay! We’ll be back. Our family had three rooms as we were in town for a soccer tourney at the nearby Sports Complex.

Our family stayed at this hotel on Saturday, July 12th, checking out on Sunday, July 13th. During our stay, our daughter accidentally left behind a pink corduroy stuffed cat named Catty. While we take full responsibility for our own belongings, we were hopeful that the hotel staff would show some empathy and urgency in helping us locate an item with deep sentimental value. Instead, we were met with poor communication, contradictory information, and complete indifference. We had to call multiple times just to get basic updates—none of which were ever initiated by the hotel, despite being promised callbacks. Each person we spoke with seemed unaware of the situation, requiring us to start from scratch every time. We were eventually told by the front desk that our housekeeper, Cindy, had only stripped the sheets but never completed cleaning the room that day. We believe Catty was wrapped in those sheets. We were also told the room was not occupied again after our checkout, making it even more frustrating that nothing was found. Worse, when we spoke with management, their focus shifted to how we knew the housekeeper’s name rather than addressing the issue at hand. The manager was cold, condescending, and showed zero compassion for the situation or our daughter’s distress. What started as an honest attempt to recover a lost item turned into a deeply disappointing experience with a hotel staff that lacked not only professionalism but basic human decency.

Staff was super rude, made a reservation and marked me as no show eventhough i made the reservation obviously after 4pm at 9pm drove from Ga to Panama city and didnt want to give me the room that i had already paid for and they didnt want to refund me my money eventhough i was there at 2am, such a horrible experience i dont recommend booking from this hotel

when I arrived at the hotel I was given a friendly greeting and the checkin process was smooth. I was given options to choose a room of my liking. The rooms were clean and very accommodating. Overall, the customer service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, breakfast was amazing and the amenities were adequate. I will definitely stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Panama City Beach again.

Staff outstanding. Could not be more pleasant or helpful. Room very clean, new and well appointed. Wish all my stays were as pleasant.

Checking in was extremely slow! There was a lone of people waiting because there was 1 person & it took a bit for each person. The morning lady that cooks pr brings food out for breakfast wasn't very pleasant. Things had ran out like sausage & when asked about it, she has an attitude saying shes cooking it. That was the only issue there. Room was clean & comfortable.

This was a great hotel that was centrally located. We have stayed at Fairfield properties before and this one was to the excellent quality that I have come to expect from Fairfield!

Great value for this newly renovated property. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good for restaurants and drive to the beach. The breakfast was very good. Highly recommend this Hotel

A little far from beach for me, but other than that everything else was great!

It was recently renovated and looked brand new. The room was clean. The breakfast in the morning very nice. In a good location. The price nice.

My stay was great the check in was very simple and quick. The morning staff was absolutely wonderful I don’t remember their names but they were super accommodating and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and safe. The breakfast was good as well. The location was close to the downtown area and the beach.

The property was convenient to everywhere we need to go. Will book again.
