The main lobby was under construction when we arrived. There was tremendous noise created by the crew and was very disruptive. The problem is we were not notified at all that this was going on during our stay. The staff was completely dismissive of our concerns. The noise did stop in the evening but started up again early Monday. The room also advertised a safe and there was no safe.

We had booked a 3 persons room and it was spacious and nice on 6th floor. Room looked newly upgraded and nice. Very helpful and kind staff. Hotel is old and under renovation, there is no reception desk in lobby, you have to go a few stairs up to a room where that is, didn’t bother us any. (But you need carry suitcase as no lift first steps up.Tiny lift, had problem go up to 6th floor so we had to go off at 5th (bc of renovation) Hotel is located not far walk from The Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle and Pantheon, you will find metro near Notre Dame to take you to Eiffel Tower if don’t want to walk the long distance. We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. ( One thing we missed having in the room was a trash bin, we just used empty paper bags from shopping for it so not a big problem, could had mentioned it to staff , but we didn’t see it as a huge thing )

The accommodation was under renovation at the time of our stay (04/2025). The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay. However, the small kitchen was a bit chaotic – the sink was full of used plates and cups. The fridge door was hard to open and opens the wrong way. One person seemed slightly stressed. The location was good – the city center was easily accessible on foot as well as by public transport. All in all, it was fine for a 2-star hotel.

Well-kept, helpful staff, good location for walking to key sites. A basic two star hotel, fine for me. Breakfast good, many choices. My only problem is that no phone in room , so in case of emergency, you have to use your own phone to reach reception. But I had no problems.

Hotel Diana is situated in a great location in the heart of Paris. My room was clean, but had few amenities besides 2 towels. They are under major renovations and it would have been nice to know at booking time. You must drag your belongings up a full flight of stairs before reaching the elevator. No staff offer to assist. When asked about getting some hand soap or a blanket, they expect you to come pick it up.Some of the staff is friendly.

The room for two adults was so Basic and small. No Safe, no glasses (paper cups), no tissues. There were ants in the room. Within 10 minutes of being in our room, the lights went out - mgmt had to find the fuse and fix it. Location was good.

For a solo traveler looking for a clean and simple stay on a budget, this was perfect. I did book my stay last minute so there were also not many other options available, but out of the ones that were, I do think this hotel beat the rest. The hotel is clean, simple, and the bed was comfortable. It had everything I needed and was in a great location, walking distance to many attractions and the area of Saint-Germain, which I love. The one thing I will say about the room is that the walls to the neighboring room were very thin, and you could hear them very well. The room is also very small but that’s to be expected for the price I paid and picking a single room. It was a plus that the single room still had a good size full bed which was comfortable!

The bed was very comfortable. The room was small but comfortable for one person. It was very clean. There were cracks in the sink but it did not leak. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, however when we arrived we were informed that the lifts were not working and so they had moved us from the top floor to the 1st floor so bit disappointed we lost a view. When we got to our room we soon found that there was no power (apart from the lights) to the room and bathroom, save for one corner of the room. This meant that we were unable to use a hairdryer or any other electrical devices in the bathroom, couldn’t use devices near the bed, the television didn’t work and only one of the air conditioning units was running. When we raised this with the staff we were told that power had been out for over a week and a technician was due to come (they never came) and asked “why would you want to watch television anyway? It’s in French you can’t understand it”. When booking it had a fridge listed and there was no fridge, not sure if this was because of the room change but disappointing. Overall, it’s a great location, but not a great hotel.

Good location for our planned sightseeing, hence the reason for booking this hotel in particular as well as the 8.8/ Excellent rating. The hotel interior including our room on the first floor was pretty dull and drab, unlike the photos on here. The ancient AC unit in our room decided to make weird gurgling noises around 3am, even though it was turned off! Staff were pleasant though. Didn’t go for the breakfast buffet as the area off reception used for this was pretty soulless. Based on our experience I cannot agree with that 8.8 rating.

Surprisingly, it is quite roomy for 3 people. Only dislike point is the shower door is not big enough to keep water within the shower. Also no cups in the bathroom that we have to ask for the paper cups.

Completely renovated room and bathroom. We had a queen bed and single bed and the room was very spacious. Street was quiet in the evening, yet we were just an easy 8min walk to Notre-Dame and 7min to metro. Lots of restaurants and safe neighborhood for evening walks.

El personal es muy amable sin embargo las habitaciones no son lo que se presenta en las fotos. Afortunadamente el chico que nos atendió nos apoyó con un cambio de habitación, pero el manager fue testarudo y no estaba dispuesto al cambio. Llevábamos 3 maletas entre 2 personas y en la primera habitación no cabíamos así como no era nada parecido a la foto. El Gte solo dijo que no podían poner todas las fotos del sitio en la web para escudarse

Pros: Location. Right in the Latin Quarter, 7 minute walk to Norte Dame and the nightlife in the Latin Quarter. Staff. Very friendly staff who are the desk 24 hours. Cons: They have a policy that you must leave your key at the desk when out. This just made me uneasy that someone could enter the room. I was not worrying about the staff. But they did not conform who you were when you came back; just asked for your room number. Some random person could say a room number and enter your room. They also need to update the room locks. Condition of room. Much older than photos. Our bathroom was terrible (room 33). The tub is high and VERY slippery. Was worrying about falling. Secondly and most importantly, the paint was chipping from the ceiling very badly. This obviously was happening for a while. Horrible.

This is the fourth time my wife and I have stayed at Hotel Diana since 2015. The location, service, quality, and cost have been perfect. During previous stays my wife and I have walked a lot but due to the extraordinarily busy time resulting from the reopening of the Notre Dame we had to take taxis a lot. Daniella was extremely helpful in calling taxis for us when we needed them.

All was good except for a very rude (almost contentious) staff at check-in. Everyone else was great and everything else worked out well for us. Easily accessible and close to all major sites. We were almost relieved not to see the one particular staff after the first day!

This hotel is in a great location near the center of Paris. The room and all the amenities are nice. We arrived late at night but the desk clerk was friendly and quickly checked us in.

Very friendly staff, and really great location - 2 mins from the nearest metro, and a 5-10 minute walk to the Latin Quarter and Notre Dame. The bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet, despite being street-facing.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was small but comfortable for one person. It was very clean. There were cracks in the sink but it did not leak. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very walkable and close to several metro stations. Walkable to Notre Dame, the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardin. The breakfast was typical continental but plentiful. I would stay here again.

The accommodation was under renovation at the time of our stay (04/2025). The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay. However, the small kitchen was a bit chaotic – the sink was full of used plates and cups. The fridge door was hard to open and opens the wrong way. One person seemed slightly stressed. The location was good – the city center was easily accessible on foot as well as by public transport. All in all, it was fine for a 2-star hotel.

Hotellet har en virkelig god beliggenhed og ligger i gåafstand til gode restauranter og seværdigheder. Vi gik til alt og benyttede slet ikke offentlige transportmidler. Morgenmad er helt fint - der er hvad, hvad der skal være. Vi havde er dobbeltværelse - værelset er ikke så stort, men det er helt ok, dog kunne sengen være større. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Well-kept, helpful staff, good location for walking to key sites. A basic two star hotel, fine for me. Breakfast good, many choices. My only problem is that no phone in room , so in case of emergency, you have to use your own phone to reach reception. But I had no problems.
