Signature Inn Danville

They canceled my reservation 12 hours before I was to check in. Something about no hot water. Apparently there aren’t any 24hr plumbers in the area… Never even got to the hotel. I had to scrounge for a room in a town that had 1000 extra people arriving for a special event.

The kit. Chen had no pots, no pants, no silverware. Quite honestly, it was a joke to call it a kitchen. The microwave was sitting on a table, but it was an old micro that was built to be installed. Not a tabletop model.

Way over priced

Photos online do not match the rooms. Would not recommend this location. We cancelled our reservation immediately after checking in.

I chose the place because it was supposed to have a kitchen according to Expedia filter. It did have a small stovetop, a frig, and a microwave. But it had no utensils: no pans, no silverware, no plates. So how is a traveler supposed to cook? Am I supposed to pack a big suitcase full of utensils? The guy at the desk said that people stay a long time and buy their own stuff. OK, state that on the Expedia website, because a real traveler needs the tools for cooking and eating. The room was OK, but there were big piles of bagged trash outside dumpsters within 50 yards of the door. Otherwise the recently reconditioned room was fine. Expedia needs guidelines for what a kitchen is. This has happened twice to me. Not good.
