Quiet We came especially wanting to use the sauna needing it as we had a rough two weeks. Sauna was not in running order after advertised amenitie being a sauna. So disappointing. Maybe next time.

A reasonable plase to stay it would be nice if there was a restaurant on the hotel property. The continental breakfast is a bit scimpy. Also the courtyard by the pool could use somd outdoor furniture to encourage sitting outside comfortably

Everything about the place was very clean, quiet, easy to get to. The only negatives were it did smell like cigarettes and the breakfast was very sparse and not very good but the room itself was very clean and nice. Would go back to again but would plan something else for breakfast.

The coffe machine was filthy. I attempted to clean it but it was really to awful. Candy was on the floor from previous and the water in the bath tub kept dripping all night. The staff at the desk were friendly and there was a lady that apologized for the coffee pot. The room was a disappointment and to be honest we probably wont stay there again unless its an emergency.

Very old amd needs renovation! The Room wasn't very clean, mold in the bathroom and dirty carpet. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows lumpy. There were no extra blankets or pillows.

We are giving Odawa Hotel with an ok based on the price, staff/service, and area around the property. Everything is decent with the exception of our room. The sheets and the box spring were stained. We only saw the box spring after pulling the sheets off the bed. When we lifted the top sheet, there were numerous loose hairs on the bed. We were so grossed out that we had to lay down towels on the bed and slept on top of the covers. It was a miserable night. I think for an extra $50, we would've probably considered to stay in another CLEAN hotel. The owners should consider DEEP CLEANING each room and maybe invest on new mattresses and sheets. The room was so disappointing!

The hotel room wasn't very clean, the entire building had a smell to it, and room 215 had black mold in it. They did switch our room after we showed them the mold but the second room was just as dirty and smelly as the first. The hotel looked neat and I was excited to stay there but the experience kind of sucked. Wouldn't recommend to friends or family until the building is completely updated.

The staff was great! Our room was okay, just outdated and not the cleanest. I don’t like that they don’t clean in between days when you stay for multiple days. I paid over $300 per night and think that warrants a light cleaning in between days. The walls don’t appear to be insulated very well. On my second morning, I woke up to the person above me getting sick and could hear everything. Will never stay here again unfortunately.

This property is in need of some updating. While it was pretty clean, you could hear your neighbors in the next room and toilets flushing. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast did not offer hot items so that was disappointing. We did appreciate the gratuity of slot machine vouchers. The price per night was excellent for this location

We stayed about a week to check out the nearby ski establishments. It's a great spot within an hour or so to five or six different places. There is also piles of great restaurants and breweries in town. The shuttle to the casino was rad and even ran during a wild snow blizzard. The driver was professional and friendly. Great drink specials at the casino. The hot tub was mega and quite rejuvenating after shredding so much Pure Michigan gnar. Self parking was easy, but the lot was a bit of a mess from all the snowfall. On the weekends there was a conveniently located taco truck in the parking lot with some of the best tacos this side of the Allegheny. There was also a cannabis dispensary. The breakfast could have been more substantial but the hardboiled eggs and muffins got the job done. WiFi worked well for remote work/video calls. Wish there was a microwave device in the room, but there was one in the breakfast area in the lobby. There were signs/pamphlets in the room with information about the casino that were inaccurate or old, this needs some updates. Overall it was a great stay and we'd return.

Liked the location. The TV did not work most of the time. We were able to use our Netflix on it. When we checked in we felt like we were being cross examined. The staff that checked us in told us we needed to keep it quiet, then asked us again if we were the only two people in the room. It would be nice if they added hot food to the breakfast bar. We received $15 credits for the Casino each day we stayed which was nice. The room was clean and had a great view of the Bay. The hotel had no information or maps about restaurants or things of interest in the area.

No breakfast buffet, a lame continental breakfast, leaky tub spout whose drip keep us up coupled with the sound of toilets flushing & doors slamming. The window ac unit cycled from noisy heat to ac (when temp was set to 73). No consistent temp. The shower/tub was dated with ripped wallpaper from the door. Outside door trim was affixed with black electric tape. Booked room was to be a “bay view” instead we had a lovely parking lot view.

My husband became ill and an ambulance was called. The night clerk helped me extend our visit, actually changing our room to the first floor. The staff was very understanding and caring. Several times during the following day they asked me how he was doing. My husband and I were grateful for the excellent service.

Front desk staff never got off their chairs to greet customers. Took about 10 mins to check in…not sure why it took so long. Wallpaper in the room was torn in several places. Will not clean room until after you check out! Tried to call front desk multiple times and never answered. One time went to voicemail and then disconnected!

The property was not quite as expected based on the booking images. The room felt tired and the cleanliness was average at best. The front desk staff unfortunately set the tone for our stay; the gentleman who checked us in did not greet us, and said no more than 5 words to us during the check-in process. We unfortunately would not consider this property when we visit again.

Upon check-in staff should inform guest there is: 1) continental breakfast and hours 2) pool and hot tub location and hours 3) washer/dryer and location 4) tickets for casino and how they work 5) how to use the shuttle NONE of this information was given to either of the three different parties that checked in with our groups and would have been so helpful. I didn’t even know about the $15 coupons at the casino until the last day! Would have loved to have done a load of laundry had we know that was an option and our friends didn’t even know there was a hot tub!! Room needs a full length mirror and better lighting. Other than that stay was fine. For the money may stay at another spot next time around.

The hotel was in a convenient location. There were shopping centers eateries around the area. It was 20 minutes to my location of business. The service was great. Check in time was great. It wasn’t what I expected in a sense of being a new hotel. It can be a little bit updated but otherwise it was a good stay.

Great location !, convenient to shopping, movies, dining ( all are walkable if you’re able) casino 1-mile from property, free shuttle back and forth if wanted. Hot shower, comfortable bed. Didn’t have enough time to checkout pool/hot tub but definitely enjoyed our stay.

Friendly, helpful staff. The common areas are well kept. Lots of parking and conveniently located for a quick getaway to the “Tunnel of Trees“ and area. You will need transportation to get to the downtown area. But there is a convenient shuttle going to the casino if that’s your deal.

I like the convenience to the highway and getting too downtown Petosky was a breeze. Getting to other attractions were easy to get to. Only thing I see needs some updates within the room. The bathroom needs a towel rack and towel hook replaced in the room I was in.

Hotel was a little dated, but beds were comfortable and overall clean. Location wasn’t ideal as there were no Ubers and it isn’t very walkable. The shuttle only runs to the casino, so couldn’t take advantage of transportation to our friends’ wedding downtown.

The hotel is very dated and in need of renovations. The pool and hot tub were not open when we were there. The elevators smelled like urine and deodorizer. You can tell that the hotel once had a bar and restaurant. The signs in the hotel made it look like a bar/restaurant was on site, but they were only advertising for the one at the casino, which is accessible via shuttle only. The breakfast buffet was sparse and unorganized.

Everything was great except for the very limited breakfast. I expected at least some hot options, but it was only muffins, bagels, and dry cereal. The facility was clean and nice looking, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay there again, I just hope they step up their game with breakfast.
