Great place to visit Universal. Free shuttle. But parking is expensive 23$ per night. Employees are kind. Breakfast is not extraordinary but its ok for a couple of nights.

The universal shuttle latest pickup is 9:20 but the park closes at 10. They sent us to wrong spot for pickup at Epic and we ended up getting an Uber. With one elevator out of service it made going and coming a problem . Breakfast was the best I’ve seen for a budget hotel though. They had bacon every day.

Loved the stay here! The staff was very nice, room was kept clean, every night we returned to our room our beds were made and trash taken out. Shuttle service is available to universal and back. The only thing is the return time was not clearly communicated for the shuttle, I assumed it’d be there when the park closed at 10 but last return shuttle was at 9:20 so we were left without a ride back home. We had to get an uber. Still giving this place a 5star bc of how great everyone was and also there is a schedule for the shuttle to look at but apparently I missed it so that could have been avoided. Breakfast options were good as well. I’d stay here again if we return. Thank you all

We stayed here for a few days while we visited Universal Studios and Disney World. The shuttle to Universal was great and on time, and we enjoyed the pool and guest laundry services. Staff were very friendly.

Paid over $200 for a room and when we got there 1 out of 2 elevators was out of service! Finally made it to our room with all our luggage and went to get ice. Ice machines were on floors, 3,5 & 7. Made it to 3rd floor and ice machine was out of order so up the hot stairwell to the 5th floor. Check-out was chaotic because of the elevator shortage mixed with cleaning crews trying to get cleaning supplies up the elevators also. Needless to say it was not a good experience

We’ve stayed here several times and always have great experiences. Rooms are clean, renovated, quiet. The location is right by Universal which is convenient. The complementary breakfast is good with a variety of options, the bar is great. We were here for Valentine’s Day this time and they went above and beyond, setting up a card & goodie bag with snacks & drinks for when we got there. Dawneth was extra awesome, she comped our parking and made us feel welcome. Will definitely stay again!

The property itself was very clean and staff was wonderful. However the room size was extremely small and not that clean. We attended a convention and competition in Orlando from 7/16 through 7/21. The room was extremely small for 2 adults and 2 children. Lavatory was extremely small to maneuver in.

Our daughter had bites from this place. They looked like bedbug bites and showed up after sleeping here. She slept on the hideway couch. The pool was infested with spiders.

We had a nice stay. My only issue with our room/property is that our rooms window was facing the interstate, so we often heard the brakes of semi trucks or loud vehicles late into the evening when we were trying to fall alseep. We always travel with ear plugs so that helped significantly. Otherwise the room was great, clean and the beds were very comfortable.

I liked everything about the room it was newly refurbished with white stone counter tops in kitchen and bathroom. I had a two queen beds with sleep sofa and large LED TV. I loved the new glass see through refrigerator which fit all my food during Hurricane Milton. It was very clean. The only complaint I have and its pure personal preference the bathroom sink water comes out like a shower head and water splashes the surrounding area. I would most definitely stay here again.

Stay was great. Good location to the park. My only complaints: 1) Not enough shuttle service times for the amusement parks. 2) The bathrooms in our room is poorly designed. The door takes up too much space and it’s very difficult to get inside the bathroom with the toilet in the way. 3) We had sugar ants in our room.

Perfect location, and breakfast included. The room was quite roomy for family of 4. Sofa bed wasn't overly comfortable. May be ok for small kids, but not adults. Bathroom was a little tight too. Otherwise would definitely recommend.

Kadeem was a gem at the place! The pool is a bit small but the room you get is huge. However, having the sink outside the bathroom is an unusual experience.

Nice large room and good breakfast. Also very close to universal studios and islands of adventure. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only issues were the bathroom and noise. The bathroom is very very small and the room door doesn’t close well, so you can hear everything that’s happening outside and the door also moves whenever another room opens or closes a door.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff at Hyatt Place. Dawneth, Isaiah and Mike were welcoming and all around wonderful. There was another awesome gentleman working (usually on Dawneth’s shift) who was also an absolute gem but I didn’t get his name. They all greeted us whenever they saw us come in and wanted to know how our day was. It was like coming back to family. We met family in the area and we would hang out on the patio or by the bar and even they commented how wonderful the staff was. Rooms were spacious and clean. Love the pool. I think it was heated. People left things in the hallway and housekeeping was quick to get it. Would absolutely stay here again.

I love that the hotel was close to universal studios and I didn’t like that calling the front desk and no one answered the phone I had to call several times and be placed on hold before talking to a person.

Great hotel for a short stay going to Universal. 20 minute walk to the parks, 10 minutes to a Walgreens and 15 minutes to the outlet shops. Friendly service, the breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

Everyone is so nice there. Miss D and the young guy at the front are awesome! The breakfast is great and only $8. It’s right across the street from universal $6 uber or free shuttle. Rooms are big and new and very clean. It’s quiet. There is a nice outdoor pool and the price of the room is super inexpensive. I love that hotel and I will look at Hyatt places now in other cities. No complaints from me which is new

I picked this hotel because I wanted to be near Universal and it did not disappoint. It is very clean and the rooms are spacious with comfy beds. The staff onsite were all very friendly and Issiah at the front desk was very accommodating and personable. I will add that the breakfast is less than what I expected from a Hyatt. It was a full breakfast menu but it just did not taste great and they didn't serve full bacon strips, just diced up bacon bits. The serving area is a bit small and felt cramped as there were a lot of people trying to get food all at once. Though they offer a convenient shuttle to Universal they does not take reservations via phone, just in person from 7:00 - 11:00 so that is a little inconvenient. Overall is was a great stay.

We loved our room, very spacious and clean. Confused about the bar and dining area, seemed to be strictly for breakfast. Sign advertised a happy your but they had a very slm selection of drinks and the food advertised they did not have. We went next door for food & drinks.

There were two nights during the start of our stay where we had gotten back after midnight. We had tried to get food from the bar area they have that is advertised as having a 24/7 limited menu but two staff members said the kitchen was already closed. When I tried to find out why and brought up that the limited menu is advertised as 24/7 they shut me down and said that was wrong it closes at midnight and argued with me without giving any sort of reasoning as to why it would be closed or falsely advertised. A couple of nights later we got back to the hotel before midnight and found out from another staff member that the kitchen does have a limited menu that is 24/7 and was all around very friendly. He did also tell us that on the nights where the other two members claimed the kitchen was closed there had been some minor renovations going on that made them unable to use it. I’m not sure if the renovations are true or not or it the very nice man was just trying to lessen the aggression and behavior of the other two rude staff members but either way it was appreciated. Everything else about our stay was wonderful and I wish I had gotten that very nice employees name because he genuinely made our stay much better with his amazing customer service. For any management that might read this the two staff members that were extremely rude were the same two staff members that checked us in on the night of August 20th.Over all I highly recommend that people stay here it was very nice.

Great location, large roomy rooms, parking is paid independently from Hotel so it can’t be billed to your room, breakfast is an additional charge of $8 per person each day but it’s NOTHING more than any other Hotel breakfast that is included in stay. This breakfast should NOT have an additional charge.

Great stay as always, the only thing this time the breakfast was not like it normally was. Hard boiled eggs were singed and not edible each morning (3) The tortilla shells were brittle and dry I saw several people throwing them out too like me. Scrambled eggs were dry and very over cooked. Missed the great breakfast that we always get here!

This is a terrible hotel. The management has cheaped out on everything. Took 20 minutes t0 get hot water in the shower and never could get hot water in the sinks even after an hour of trying. The coffee service in the room is a joke. Breakfast was cold and there were no microwaves to reheat it. I’ll never stay here again.

This is a great alternative to staying at the Universal hotels, however the shuttle bus has limited service so we ended up taking Uber back and forth to the park each day which was an unexpected expense. The free breakfast options were wonderful though. We’d stay there again for sure.
